The feet are the part of the body that bears a huge load every day. At the same time, the well-being of a person as a whole depends on their health. Let us remember what pleasure the usual immersion of tired legs in warm water brings to the whole body. And simple techniques that allow you to master foot massage and do it yourself at home give visible results.

Indeed, the feet have a direct connection with all organs and systems. Reflexology deals with these issues in detail.
The field of medicine that specializes in the study of reflex zones in our body pays special attention to the soles of the feet. Along with the palms, they are responsible for the tactile function and are rich in nerve endings and receptors that transmit information to the brain and other organs.
Traditional Eastern medicine also places great importance on foot stimulation and has knowledge of energy zones. Here, many phenomena are interpreted more broadly: the connection between the physical, psychological and spiritual comes first.
In our body, all systems are interdependent and therefore one problem, if it is not solved, leads to others. Our skin, according to reflexology, directly reflects the state of our internal organs and vice versa. If blood circulation and nutrition of the legs suffer, uneven loads occur, accompanied by pain, “distress signals” begin to be sent to the brain and other body systems. Such a situation, if it is permanent, is a great stress and threatens to result in global disruptions. By taking care of our feet and caring for them, we impart a healthy, comfortable state to the entire body . There is also a feedback: the affected internal organs also transmit information to the skin. And knowing the exit points of these signals, you can not only diagnose, but also treat.
In reflexology, a so-called foot map is used. It shows all the significant points and indicates which bodies they are responsible for communicating with. There are 36 such zones on the sole of each foot. The foot is a projection of the human body, where the toes are the head, and the heel is the pelvic area and knees . So, on top there are points responsible for the brain, pituitary gland, vision and hearing. The wide part of the foot is connected to the heart, lungs, and liver. The lower section allows you to influence the reflex zones of the kidneys, intestines, and genitals. The outer part of the foot is also rich in active points. For example, the inner lateral surface is a projection of the spine.
There are a number of techniques that allow you to relieve pain and fatigue, correct orthopedic deficiencies, improve the functional properties of the foot, and also influence other organs and systems, normalizing their functioning. They are used to solve specific problems and preventive measures. The most famous are the directions described below.
To properly perform reflex massage, you need to be well aware of the location of active points on the foot and their purpose. Traditional Eastern medicine speaks of the release of energy during the procedure, which helps to harmonize the work of all body systems. European medicine explains the effect by the release of endorphins that occurs when the points are pressed. In this way, the body uses its own resources to promote recovery.
The Chinese technique is one of the areas of acupressure of the foot. Masters use various techniques that combine work with reflex zones. Pressing on the desired points activates the channels through which the vital energy Qi moves. The impact depends on the task at hand: treatment of headaches, respiratory diseases, digestive diseases, as well as insomnia and depression. Massage therapists use techniques such as stroking, pressing, rubbing, and vibration. Often these treatments are combined with other types of therapy, such as acupuncture.

Many people compare Thai technique to yoga. Massage therapists pay attention primarily to the muscles and joints, which experience a very intense effect. Deep pressure is used, twisting the foot, arching the toes up and down, and pressing on the crossed feet. For point pressure, thin wooden sticks are used.
Therapeutic massage is prescribed by a doctor for chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system and serves to improve foot mobility and relieve pain. It is often part of a full body treatment.
As in other types of massage, each session includes three mandatory stages: preparation, main part (intensive impact) and completion.
First, the tissues are warmed up using stroking and light rubbing. As a result, there is an active flow of blood and noticeable redness of the skin. Massage oil or cream is applied to the feet.
During the procedure itself, the following techniques are used:
The sequence of actions differs in different methods. In this case, as a rule, the procedure begins with working on each finger. Then massage the sole, where the concentration of active points is especially high. Next comes the impact on the outside: the top and sides. Finally, attention is paid to the heel, Achilles tendon, and ankle joint.
The procedure ends with light stroking. The massage therapist's hand soothes and relaxes the tissues.
Foot massage is recommended as a therapeutic or preventive procedure in many cases. It can be:

Impact on reflex zones is also used in complex therapy to treat:
Arthritis is a joint disorder characterized by decreased mobility and pain. Treatment is necessary; neglected disease leads to disability.
It is important to know that massage is part of a comprehensive program. It is done already in the remission stage, without directly affecting the affected joint if it causes pain.
You can learn to perform the procedures yourself, because it is their regularity that brings the greatest benefit.
For arthritis, the following self-massage techniques are especially effective:
The causes of arthrosis are metabolic disorders, lack of joint fluid, and changes in the structure of cartilage. It leads to limited mobility and acute pain. To help affected joints, perform the following exercises:
In cases where medical procedures are involved, it is especially important to perform them correctly. It is therefore advisable to have a few object lessons before proceeding to practice.
With flat feet, the sole of the foot does not have a pronounced arch, which worsens the shock-absorbing function and increases the load on the entire musculoskeletal system. This manifests itself in fatigue, pain, and eventually leads to joint problems. Gymnastics and self-massage help restore the foot after stress and improve its shock-absorbing properties.
Following the standard set of preparatory stage procedures, perform the following manipulations with each leg five to six times:
Most of the various foot massage techniques are easy to perform on your own at home. However, using reflexology techniques requires significant training and preparation. At the same time, it’s easy to do a simple relaxing procedure for yourself today.
In the future, you can improve your technique by mastering new techniques from video tutorials. If some reasons prevent you from mastering manual massage at home, aids will come to the rescue: special rugs, slippers with spikes, as well as small balls, walnuts or chestnuts that are rolled over the foot. Self-massage and stimulation of active points on the legs are facilitated by walking on peas and other grains.
Performing such procedures daily will relax tired legs, bring pleasure and help prevent many diseases.
Any woman would not refuse to get rid of unwanted hair once and for all. And the man, probably, too. And modern cosmetology is ready to offer an effective solution - laser hair removal, which allows you to quickly and efficiently achieve smooth skin on almost any part of the body. There is only one question left - monetary: how much does laser hair removal cost? The price of the service is quite high, and the specifics of the procedure do not allow us to calculate its exact cost in advance.
In this regard, information on prices presented on the websites of cosmetology clinics is an unreliable source. Price lists usually indicate the approximate cost of one procedure for hair growth zones without taking into account pricing factors, that is, either the minimum price, or the average, or the range “from” and “to”. The full cost of the service is calculated by a specialist during a face-to-face consultation, but it is not final.
Since the advent of laser hair removal, its cost has dropped noticeably: today it costs 2 times less than several years ago, when laser hair removal procedure was available only to a few. Now laser hair removal has proven its safety and effectiveness, and the demand for it is growing every year. The number of clinics offering this popular service is also increasing. Of course, not every beauty salon is still able to purchase a laser machine. But those who did not skimp on $80,000, which is how much aesthetic laser equipment costs on average, quickly recoup their investment.
The range of prices for laser hair removal is quite large. Do not forget that in addition to the “flashes” of the laser and the work of a specialist, the cost of hair removal also includes “economic” factors that are not directly related to the procedure itself. We also pay for the level of the salon, its convenient location, the “name” of the master and coffee while waiting. It is quite possible to do without all these “accompanying” markups if you choose not a pretentious establishment, but a clinic with a democratic atmosphere.
In large cities, competition among beauty salons is becoming quite high, which undoubtedly plays into the hands of interested clients. It is not so easy to lure the modern spoiled consumer with just advertising of aesthetic cosmetology without promising him additional “goodies”. Hence, there are numerous special offers, seasonal and holiday discounts, coupons for a free trial procedure and promotions such as “free bikini thigh hair removal.”
To get rid of unnecessary hair, you need to carry out a whole course of procedures. How much specifically is decided by the doctor in each case individually. It is believed that to achieve the effect, the minimum required number of sessions is four, but it is possible that 10 or more procedures may be needed.
The cost of the course will depend on the following factors:
It is impossible to predict the number of sessions in advance. Everything will depend on the reaction of your hair to the laser. For some, four to five sessions with breaks of 3 to 4 weeks are enough. If the achieved result does not satisfy you, then the procedures will be continued until the desired effect is achieved.
Sessions should be carried out regularly, observing the frequency recommended by the cosmetologist. A break of 5-6 weeks can significantly worsen the results of hair removal and require additional sessions.
The effectiveness of the procedures, in turn, is determined by several factors: the type of equipment, the individual characteristics of the client, proper preparation for hair removal, and so on. For example, for men, the course of laser hair removal is usually much longer than for women.
When epilating with an alexandrite laser, the effect is achieved in a maximum of 8-10 procedures, with a ruby laser - in 10-12 sessions, and weaker neodymium and diode rays may require 12 - 18 sessions.
As a rule, salons provide discounts on all subsequent sessions after the first, and they themselves become cheaper: each time there will be less hair and, accordingly, the procedure time will be shorter. There is also the practice of concluding a “contract” for epilation of a certain area for a fixed price without taking into account the number of necessary procedures.
Let’s look at what the cost of one procedure consists of below.
So, let’s try to understand all the components of the cost of a laser hair removal procedure.
First you need to find out what services are included in the cost of the first and subsequent sessions.
Equipment is one of the main factors influencing the cost of hair removal, because the efficiency and speed of the procedure depends on the characteristics of the laser. Therefore, it is necessary first of all to ask questions: what type of laser will be used during hair removal, what is its power and the diameter of the light beam, whether the lamps are replaced in a timely manner (they, like lamps in a solarium, have a limited service life).
The final cost of the procedure will depend on the number of laser flashes that will be needed to treat the selected area. One pulse affects an area on average from 1 to 2 sq. cm, and some lasers (diode) use an area ten times smaller, so it is not advisable to use them on large areas of the skin.
Please note that the beam “kills” hair in the affected area with varying efficiency, depending on the type of laser: alexandrite destroys 70-90% of the hair, ruby – 10% less, the effectiveness of other types of laser systems is even less and does not exceed 70%. . Naturally, all these factors affect the number of pulses required to treat the epilation area and, accordingly, the time spent on the procedure.
The size of the treated area determines the cost of hair removal to the greatest extent. The wider the area, the longer and more expensive the session will be. Of the most popular hair removal areas, the most expensive area is the legs, the least expensive is the face.
The location of the epilated area also matters. As a rule, hair removal of intimate parts of the body costs a little more.
If it is necessary to remove individual hairs, the price of hair removal is fixed and does not depend on their location.
The characteristics of the hairline and skin color type also affect the cost of procedures and their number. The ideal option is light skin and dark hair. Laser hair removal in this case will be the most effective and will take less time. The rich pigment of black and brown hair absorbs laser energy better and transmits it faster and better into the hair follicle.
Blonde and red hair does not respond well to laser exposure. The hair removal process is slow and not always as effective as we would like, which is why the maximum number of procedures is usually prescribed. The same is true for those with dark skin. They don’t have to hope for a quick result, and not every salon will take on such a patient. This requires an experienced specialist and suitable equipment. For dark skin, a neodymium laser is quite suitable, while the most common alexandrite laser is unlikely to cope with this task.
As mentioned above, the price of the course is individual in each specific case, and comparing the costs of hair removal for two different people is not very informative. But it is possible and necessary to estimate for yourself the approximate cost in different salons and even different cities.
If we take the average price of one laser flash as a basis for comparison, residents of the northern capital are the luckiest. Numerous salons and clinics of aesthetic medicine in St. Petersburg offer hair removal at the best prices, and in general in the North-West region the price level is slightly higher.
There are regions where beauty literally costs a lot. These are, predictably, “oil” cities - Tyumen, Surgut, Nefteyugansk, Nizhnevartovsk. The cost of services in these monetary areas is 2.5 or even 3 times higher. In the Urals and Siberia, you will have to pay twice as much for hair removal compared to St. Petersburg prices.
Prices for laser hair removal in other regions approximately correspond to Moscow and are the national average: the cost of one light pulse is 50% more expensive than in St. Petersburg.
Considering the general pricing for laser hair removal, the difference expressed in monetary terms can be significant. However, unlike the fairly developed “aesthetic tourism” to other cities and countries for, for example, plastic surgery or dental treatment, in the case of laser hair removal, a trip for beauty to another region is unlikely to justify itself.
If we talk about specific figures, if you want to do laser hair removal, you can focus on the price range of a mid-category clinic in the capital:
The indicated figures are for reference and can be used to approximately calculate the amounts required for laser hair removal.
Nowadays, there are a huge number of massage methods. Foot massage is rightfully considered one of the most effective. This procedure, if performed correctly, will have a very positive effect on many internal organs, muscles and joints. However, it is important to know not only what exactly foot massage is, but also how to do it correctly.
Foot massage from the East
For the most part, massage involves acting directly on problem areas of the body. However, in ancient times, healers adhered to a slightly different teaching. It consisted of a special impact on reflex zones, which are projections of internal organs and/or entire human systems. At the same time, there are very numerous points for massage on the foot - there are more than sixty of them.
Considering that reflexive foot massage has a long history, it is quite difficult to establish in which ancient state this type of therapy originated. Mentions of healing effects on the feet are found in ancient wall paintings and documents from China, India, Egypt, and the Mayan Indians.
Absolutely healthy people are very rare these days. But many live experiencing constant health difficulties. The most common complaints are:
Foot massage relieves fatigue
Traditional medicine considers many people with such complaints to be generally healthy - they have no obvious symptoms of disease. Perhaps in such situations, foot massage will be an excellent solution, the benefits of which have long been beyond doubt. Improved blood circulation, activation of all internal organs, a real lift in mood - all this comes from a foot massage.
There is another reason why it is safe to recommend giving a man a foot massage from time to time. In addition to the general healing effect, the effect on certain areas provides the prevention of many male diseases of the pelvic organs, and also prevents sexual impotence.
There are many ways to treat the feet therapeutically. Some general rules can be identified. For example, many massage specialists are convinced that working with any single zone is unlikely to give a full effect. That is why the impact of the massage should be on the entire foot, starting with the toes. In addition, the foot is physiologically closely connected to the lower leg, so it also needs to be worked on. At the same time, blood circulation improves even more, which is especially important.
Points of influence during foot massage
There are entire “maps” of the foot. They indicate various points and zones that are responsible for the entire system of the body or for one organ. It takes a lot of time to learn and remember them, but in a simplified form, dividing the foot into zones is quite simple.
In some cases, foot massage has a strictly defined purpose. The most famous type is massage for flat feet. The simplest is a relaxing massage. It does not involve a deep therapeutic effect, and is rather aimed at improving overall well-being. But serious, professional reflex massage helps treat and prevent many diseases.
Thai foot massage with chopsticks
The simplest method of foot massage is rightly recognized as walking on a massage mat or using special insoles. Despite its extreme simplicity, this is a real and complete foot massage; almost all points are worked out.
The most complex and targeted procedure is carried out in salons and medical centers. In this case, the massage is performed by a specialist who has undergone appropriate training. Typically, clients are offered various types of massage, which is often associated with a specific country: Chinese, Thai, Indian. The differences are in the technique of influence, in the use of specific massage means of ethnic medicine, and also, quite often, in the environment.
But if it is not possible to visit a specialist, and purchasing a massage mat is only in your future plans, you can carry out the procedure at home yourself if you wish. The main thing is to prepare thoroughly (as later in the article) and get comfortable with maximum comfort.
No matter how useful foot massage is, it still has contraindications. There are few absolute ones - these are fungal infections of the feet and the acute stage of any disease. The following diseases and conditions require mandatory consultation with a specialist and a careful approach:
Rinse your feet with water before the massage
The complications that can arise from the above conditions are different. Some tumors may be activated when massaging the reflex zones of the foot, and during pregnancy, stimulating some points can have negative effects.
Massage should not be done immediately after eating or on an empty stomach. A good time is an hour after eating. In order to maximize blood flow, it is advisable to drink two or three glasses of warm water before the procedure. It is very important: you need to drink water, not tea or juices. The ideal time for a foot massage is evening.
Feet should be rinsed with warm water. As a rule, massage is performed using cream. You can take a regular one (for example, a children's one) or use a special one, best of all - with a heating effect. Any massage oil is also perfect. You can add a drop of your favorite essential oil to it.
Also, the feet need to be rubbed vigorously and thoroughly. After all these steps, the feet are definitely ready for a massage.
At the end of the procedure, your feet should be wrapped well. It is advisable to lie down for at least ten minutes so that your feet, and the whole body, too, are properly rested.
After the massage, wrap your feet in a towel
Even a single session of foot massage will at least give you a feeling of relaxation and lift your spirits. However, the effect may soon cease - after all, it is desirable to consolidate any positive effect. Therefore, experts recommend a massage course of ten to twenty sessions. And you can take “walks” on the massage mat at least every day. By the way, this is the most inexpensive option.
In general, foot massage prices depend on many factors. For example, if a specialist works at home, then the price may be 150 rubles for 10 minutes. A beauty salon or a serious medical clinic that employs certified massage therapists will offer completely different prices. On average, a 40-minute procedure will cost one and a half thousand rubles. Since in this case almost everything depends on the professionalism of the massage performer, reputable clinics or salons are trusted more. Often the procedure is combined with other services. For example: pedicure, foot polishing, massage, the reviews are the most positive.
Anton: I liked the relaxing effect of the foot massage. The procedure is truly calming, affects the whole body - it’s easy to fall asleep. But then you feel vigor and ease of movement.
Asya: very attractive surroundings. Quiet music was played during the massage. And the candles were still burning. Relaxation came literally from the first influences of the masseuse. If you walk a lot in heels, a massage is simply irreplaceable. It literally makes you want to fly.
Veronica: some touches hurt a little. The master said that this means some kind of problem with an internal organ. Gradually, the discomfort disappeared, and the massage brought pleasure.
Despite the possible pain or simply unpleasant sensations, in general, foot massage is a pleasant procedure. Pain may indicate a malfunction of the organ that is projected onto the “responsive” zone. As a rule, a massage specialist pays increased attention to the corresponding group of points. During the massage, complete relaxation often occurs, and patients often fall asleep. In this case, it is very important to give the body rest.
Foot massage is an important and beneficial health procedure for the body.

Reflexive foot massage is a highly effective, universal, affordable and absolutely safe diagnostic and treatment system by influencing active points and reflex zones located on the feet.
On the soles of the feet, like on an atlas, each organ has its own zone or point. By learning special acupressure techniques, you can identify and eliminate blockades of energy channels. This unique technique stabilizes the body’s energy balance, improves the functioning of the cardiovascular, immune, nervous systems, and musculoskeletal system. In addition, it is a powerful stimulus for self-healing of the body.
In China and India, approximately 5,000 years ago, treatment was practiced by pressing on biologically active points of the body. In the Middle Ages, similar techniques were used in Europe. The therapeutic effectiveness of foot procedures was first attested by the American otolaryngologist, Dr. William Fitzgerald (1872–1942), who is considered the founder of zone therapy. His assistant, Eunice Ingham, specialized in foot therapy. She remained in history as the doctor who first used foot reflexology, and, accordingly, its founder. In Germany, Hana Markwart played a major role in the development of reflexogenic massage.
A reflex is a complex response mechanism of the body to irritation. There are many sensitive receptors on the skin, as well as on all internal organs. Irritation from the receptor is transmitted to the central nervous system and causes a certain reflex reaction of the corresponding organ. From the point of view of Eastern teaching, a reflex is an involuntary reaction, which means that the reflex activity of a zone of one organ, one gland or one muscle was carried out through an energy flow. The basis of reflexogenic massage is irritation of nerve receptors in the zones. A reflexogenic zone is a specific area of skin exposed to a stimulus. Reflexogenic zones of most organs and systems are located on the foot and lower leg. The reflexogenic zones of the front part of the body are located on the dorsum of the foot, and the reflexogenic zones of the rear part of the body are located on the plantar side of the foot. Based on the condition (sensitivity) or the presence of any changes in the skin in this area, one can assume the functional state of a particular organ. Deformations of the foot lead to impaired blood circulation in the reflexogenic zone and dysfunction of the corresponding organ. Reflexology massage improves blood circulation and the function of this organ. By influencing certain areas with a certain intensity, you can have a tonic or relaxing effect on both the organs and the body as a whole. Energy foot massage is not a means of treating serious organic diseases, but in case of functional disorders it helps to mobilize the body's natural defenses.
Energy foot massage is the next step in the development of massage techniques taking into account reflexogenic zones. Just like acupuncture, it uses the theory of dividing the body into vertical meridian lines. At the beginning of the 20th century, the American physician William Fitzgerald conditionally divided the human body into 10 longitudinal zones (corresponding to the 5 toes of each foot), which run along the body from the head through the body to the arms and legs, and 4 transverse lines:
1st – head, 2nd – chest, 3rd – stomach, 4th – pelvis-thigh.
All zones interact with each other. The lines cross the human body from the back of the head to the soles, from the head to the toes and thus pass through all the organs. The spinal column corresponds to the inner edge of the foot, the shoulder region corresponds to the outer edge of the foot. The right side of the body is projected onto the right foot, the left - onto the left. Organs located in the center and paired organs are projected onto both feet, the remaining organs are projected in accordance with their location in one or another half of the body on the corresponding foot. Hanna Marquart complemented the longitudinal zones with three transverse zones.
During an energy massage of the feet, the zones are not so clearly defined, which makes the procedures easier. With this type of massage, the foot is divided into 4 transverse zones (ZZ):
1st zone – head and neck, 2nd zone – chest and epigastric region, 3rd zone – abdomen and pelvis, 4th zone – legs.
Before performing a massage, it is necessary to clarify your medical history and the presence of chronic diseases. Some clients may have contraindications for massage.
Absolute contraindications are: general exhaustion, alcohol intake, pregnancy, menstruation, shock, the postoperative period (within two months), vascular thrombosis, the presence of open wounds or hemorrhages on the legs, infectious diseases, inflammation of the veins and lymphatic vessels, neuropathy, gangrene, presence of transplants.
For seriously ill and weakened clients, it is recommended to conduct short sessions (up to a maximum of 10 minutes), the impact should be light, each area should be massaged briefly.
In case of relative contraindications, massage should be performed with caution, avoiding areas whose stimulation may lead to worsening of the condition. For example, in the second half of pregnancy, stimulation of the uterus, pituitary gland, and mammary glands should not be performed. In case of kidney stones and cholelithiasis, the area of the kidneys and gall bladder is not massaged. In case of extensive mycoses of the feet, the affected areas should not be massaged; massage is possible if the patient’s feet are wearing thin cotton socks.
Energy foot massage is based on rhythmic pressure or clockwise circular movements with the thumbs, while the remaining fingers hold the foot during the procedure. The strength and intensity of pressure is individual for each patient. The tonic effect is achieved by more intense and faster movements, helps to increase muscle elasticity, and activates the work of internal organs. Less intense movements have a relaxing effect, relieve tension, calm and relax. During the procedure, the massage therapist needs to observe the patient’s reaction. If there is pain during treatment in some areas, the pressure should be reduced. If the movements resemble tickling, increase it. Over bones and joints, the pressure intensity decreases.
A comfortable temperature regime should be created in the office; you can cover the patient with a blanket. The client must be given a comfortable position - lying or sitting. It is recommended to carefully examine your feet for skin changes. During the first session, it is important to carefully examine the skin of the dorsum and plantar surfaces of the feet, as well as the joints of the toes and determine their mobility. If there are any restrictions, these must be taken into account during the session. Before the massage you need to wash and warm your hands. The technician should have his nails cut short to avoid damaging the client’s skin. The massage therapist should sit comfortably, with both soles of the feet in contact with the floor.
Traditionally, massage begins with the right foot. First, all areas of the foot are massaged completely, this will allow you to select the intensity of movement necessary for a given patient. The number of pressures on one zone should be no more than 3–5 times. It is very important to monitor the direction of the massage movements. The massage begins with stroking both feet. Both hands of the master lie on the patient’s feet. At the same time, the specialist determines the turgor and temperature of the skin. A small amount of oil and cream is used for massage, otherwise the leg may slip out of your hands. For an additional aromatherapy effect, you can add essential oil to the massage product.
Areas with increased sensitivity are massaged carefully, with equal pressure from the thumbs, until the pain decreases, while not exceeding the patient's sensitivity threshold. At the beginning and at the end of the massage, the urinary organs are massaged: kidneys, ureters, bladder, ureter. At the end of the session, the solar plexus and lymphatic drainage areas are stimulated. After the procedure, the patient should be covered and allowed to rest. The duration of the massage is 45 minutes, but for diabetics, people with diseases of the cardiovascular system and kidneys it should not exceed 10 minutes.
Before the session, it is worth warning the patient about the appearance of certain reactions during and after the massage. For example, pain when exposed to certain areas, autonomic reactions - increased sweating on the hands or the whole body, chills, muscle pain, fever, drowsiness, a surge of energy, increased diuresis or feces, increased intestinal motility, mood changes, sometimes exacerbation of chronic diseases .
During the entire procedure, it is necessary to carefully observe the patient’s reaction, evaluate his facial expressions, the condition of the skin, etc. Increased sweating throughout the body or in certain areas of it, as well as chills indicate that the patient’s sensitivity threshold has been exceeded. In such cases, it is recommended to move on to soothing movements in the areas of the heart, pituitary gland and solar plexus. If the patient has a negative reaction, you should reduce the intensity of the massage and switch to stroking movements until pain decreases, tissue tone normalizes, and vegetative reactions moderate.
During the first hour after the massage, the massage therapist’s hands and the client’s feet should not be washed with cold water (warm water can be used). The client is advised to drink warm water within 30 minutes after the massage. For kidney disease, only 150 ml; for healthy people, more is possible.
As a result of the massage, blood circulation improves, blockades of energy flows are eliminated, organ functions are normalized, the body's reserve forces are activated, and the functions of the glands are improved.

Hello, dear readers!
What do you think should be done if your shoulder hurts? Did you guess it? Your deliverer lives in your heel!
Reflexive foot massage, the benefits of which we will talk about, will help not only heal the shoulder, but also the internal organs.
This is excellent health prevention for many years. After all, our diseases begin with the foot! Foot massage at home should simply become our way of life. If people paid attention to its seriousness, then perhaps there would be much fewer sick people among us.
Personally, I have been doing this every day for many years using foot massagers.
This unique discovery was made three thousand years ago by ancient Chinese scientists. The benefits of foot massage were known in the first civilizations of India, China, and Ancient Egypt, and even then they treated many diseases.
Since ancient times, people have walked barefoot, massaging their feet, training and strengthening their bodies.
And nowadays in Singapore they attach very serious importance to this, so that even in parks they built paths and paths from small pebbles. When people come to the park, they take off their shoes and walk barefoot along these paths.
On our foot there are many reflex points associated with all human organs. During the massage, all points of the foot are irritated, thereby activating the work of all organs.
Reflexive foot massage replaces internal massage of the corresponding organ, which is impossible to do, as you understand.
In the newspaper “ZOZH” for 2003, I read such an interesting story.
A ten-year-old child had such severe pain in the neck that he turned his head to the side. The sedatives prescribed by the doctor and recommendations not to irritate the child did not help.
But a nurse came to the rescue and offered to massage the reflex points of the foot. Almost from the very first minutes the boy’s grimace of pain disappeared, and after the session his head returned to its place. And most importantly, several sessions completely eliminated the problem.
Many miracles happen when performing reflexive foot massage:
The following diagram shows all the reflex zones on the foot and their connection with different organs.
By massaging the corresponding point, you can stimulate the functioning of one or another organ and relieve pain.
Here are some examples.
So, if your shoulder hurts, look at Figure 2.
Points 1 and 2 indicate the areas of the cervical and thoracic spine on the arch of the foot.
We massage these points with our fingers smoothly, gently, but persistently. You need to feel the pleasant surging warmth. Then we stroke the sore shoulder, so it calms down.
I also stretch my shoulder and back in the morning when I do memory exercises. Excellent prevention of osteochondrosis, sclerosis and vigor for the whole day!
Are your knees hurt? As luck would have it, you can’t even sleep at night?
Let's turn to the foot again. But first we do a light massage of the thigh, and you can stretch the entire lower leg. And then we find point 3 on the foot and work it out. Moreover, this must be done on both feet at the same time. Don't be afraid to press harder.
We finish the massage by stroking the knee.
Has the pain gone? Well done! You were able to do it yourself!
Reflexive foot massage can also be done when the liver aches or the stomach hurts. We find points 5, 6 and 7 on the foot (Figure 3), massage them all in turn, because all the organs are nearby and cannot live without each other.
Don’t forget to gently stroke your calmed stomach.
You can, of course, knead the corresponding zones with your hands, but it is more convenient to massage your feet yourself with a massager at home.
Moreover, it is not necessary to know the points.
It is useful to massage the entire foot, and the diseased organ will manifest itself with pain in one or another area of the foot, which will gradually go away as a result of regular exercise.
There are many different types of massagers now available: in the form of rollers, mats with spikes, and magnetic insoles.
I have been using massage rollers for a long time, probably for more than 20 years.
When performing a massage, rollers knead the sensitive points of the foot muscles, which have a reflex connection with the internal organs.
If the activity of any organ is disrupted, a painful hardening forms in the corresponding reflex zone. You may not even be aware of it. When massaging this area with rollers, pain is felt. This way you can even prevent the onset of a disease.
By massaging the corresponding area of the foot, you can destroy painful hardening and restore blood circulation and function of internal organs.
It is recommended to massage with rollers twice a day: morning and evening, for two minutes, no more, with each leg.
Now they produce comfortable massage rollers for working with both legs at once.
I have rollers of an old design, I have to massage first one foot, then the other.
This foot massage is very effective for flat feet, spurs and in general for the prevention of overall health.
Include it in your morning exercises.
Another great invention is magnetic insoles. There are elastic spikes on their surface, and healing magnetic balls are built inside.
When wearing such insoles, the active points of the foot receive magnetic and physiological massage.
Nowadays we have little opportunity to walk barefoot, as in ancient times, we all wear shoes, and magnetic insoles can help achieve the same effect as when walking barefoot.
Begin the massage using insoles for 5-10 minutes. We just put them in slippers, put them on our bare feet and walk around the room.
Out of habit, there will, of course, be painful sensations. But they will pass quickly and over time you will get used to it and will not even feel these insoles.
Gradually increase the training time to 15 minutes.
I've been using them for quite some time; I bought them together with my co-workers at the same time. Everyone is very happy, especially those who have sore legs respond well, it has become much easier to walk and the pain has gone away.
You can buy such insoles at a pharmacy or in online stores.
Massage mats with spikes are also suitable for massaging reflex zones.
They are placed on the floor, stand with bare feet and trample for 15 minutes a day.
Only at first it is unlikely that you will be able to stand on the spikes for more than half a minute. But if you repeat this procedure day after day, after a week or two you can increase the time to two to five minutes, and then more.
An alternative to purchased massagers is a pebble mat - the simplest and free exercise machine for self-massage of the feet. Moreover, this method is the most effective.
Such a rug is perfect for a bathroom, in which every family member willy-nilly will stand on it and receive at least some kind of foot massage.
To make a bath mat, smooth pebbles are glued onto a rubber or other material base.
Well, to create a simulator, we need any box of such a size that we can stand in it with both feet.
We pour small pebbles into it - crushed stone. True, doctors advise using smooth stones or beans and peas for foot massage.
But before, when we walked barefoot, we couldn’t tell what kind of stones we were walking on. Crushed stone with sharp edges is much better at breaking up all corns and calluses and warming up the blood. Only stones with too sharp and needle-like protrusions should not be used.
So, fill the box with stones, turn on music or a TV with an interesting program to distract attention from the pain that you will experience at first. ??
We slowly shift from foot to foot, getting comfortable. We took a break and again walked in place. Now it has become easier. After the fifth attempt, you will be quickly moving your feet over the stones, like yogis or magicians.
And the trick is in a reflexive foot massage, doing which every evening for 10 minutes, you will get rid of all diseases and will not acquire new ones! And the heels will be soft and beautiful, which is important!
When performing a foot massage, you must follow some rules. It is very important!
And one more interesting piece of advice from the Mongolian doctor Thomas Tseng.
In reflexology, it is equally important not only to stimulate the areas on the feet with a massage, but also to increase blood circulation by warm foot baths before bed. It is during sleep that our body gets rid of the toxins accumulated during the day, and warm baths help strengthen this cleansing process. In addition, such baths are an excellent remedy against osteochondrosis.
The temperature of the bath water should be maintained at 40-50 degrees.
The legs are immersed up to the ankles in a basin of water and held for 15-30 minutes.
And in the morning you definitely need to drink two glasses of water to flush out all the toxins from the body.
Foot massage, the benefits of which are obvious and have long been proven, is an excellent ancient and at the same time modern method of prevention and treatment, simple and affordable.
So I advise everyone to buy special massagers or make a pebble mat and perform a reflexive foot massage in the morning.
