Folk remedies, treatment with folk remedies HTML clipboard If you are bothered by a feeling of heaviness in your legs, dull or sharp pain at night or leg cramps at night, in the evening in your legs. These are early symptoms of varicose veins. Late symptoms are: spider veins on the legs, “bumps” of the veins, thickening of the veins on the legs, etc.
VARICOSE VEINS, ULCERS
Varicose veins are a disease of the veins that results in an increase in their size, a change in shape, and a decrease in elasticity. Mostly the superficial veins of the lower extremities, the venous plexus of the rectum, the veins of the portal system and the spermatic cord are affected. The development of varicose veins is facilitated by difficulties with the outflow of blood through the venous system during systematic long-term standing on the feet associated with professional activities, compression of the pelvic veins by the uterus during pregnancy, congestion in the pelvic veins, for example, with systematic constipation, sedentary work, etc. The disease is predisposed by congenital weakness of the venous wall and insufficiency of the venous valves. Due to poor blood supply to the skin, ulcers may appear over time. One of the early symptoms of the disease is a feeling of heaviness in the legs, dull or sharp pain and cramps at night.
If varicose veins are left untreated, the veins become hard and dense over time, and ulcers and bleeding often appear on the legs. The movement of blood from the legs to the heart is ensured by valves located every few centimeters. If the valves are weak, the main flow of blood flows back into the vessel. Blood pressure in the vein below the damaged valve increases, and the blood expands the vein, increasing its diameter. If there is hereditary weakness of the veins or valves, it is advisable to choose a profession that does not require long periods of standing on your feet. For swollen veins in the legs, it is helpful to wrap the legs (not too tightly) with elastic bandages.
In general, it should be noted that wearing tight belts, garters or other constricting items of clothing is harmful to health. 360 Varicose veins that form in the scrotum are called varicoceles (varicose veins of the spermatic cord). If they appear in the rectum, they are called hemorrhoids.
Night cramps in the leg can occur for various reasons.
For example, due to overstrain of the leg muscles (standing work, long walking), lack of mineral salts of magnesium, potassium and calcium, and the initial stage of diabetes. Therefore, it is better to consult a doctor and find out what is causing the cramps.
In addition, take the drug calcium panthogenate one tablet in the morning and evening for 10 days. And try to follow these recommendations:
If muscle pain persists after a cramp, wrap your leg with an elastic bandage from the foot to the knee.
For leg cramps
• In the morning and evening, lubricate the soles of your feet with the juice of fresh lemon (you can slice it), let it dry, and then put on socks. The course of treatment is 2 weeks.
• Rub mustard oil on the affected area.
• Rub the soles of your feet with 9% vinegar.
• Eat potatoes with skin, boiled or baked.
• Pinch the place of cramps with a pin.
• As soon as your leg begins to cramp, grab your toes with your hand and pull it towards you. Pull until the pain goes away. With this method you can completely rid yourself of cramps.
• In the old days, natural corks from wine bottles were strung on threads and such a “necklace” was put on a muscle contracted by a cramp.
There are several exercises that can significantly reduce the occurrence of leg cramps.
Phlebitis (inflammation of the veins), varicose ulcers, severe scratching, and discoloration of the skin (which often turns coppery red) are common complications of this condition. But only a small percentage of those who have varicose veins develop varicose ulcers. It is believed that people with varicose veins have congenital veins with weak vessel walls. But weak vessel walls are most likely a consequence of poor nutrition, toxemia, innervation (decreased nervous condition) and lack of exercise. Fast walking, for example, requires vigorous use of the leg muscles, increasing blood circulation, which prevents congestion in the legs. Varicose veins are much more common in overweight men and women than in those who are slender or at normal weight. Varicose veins often appear during pregnancy due to poor circulation. In most cases, when varicose veins form during pregnancy, they disappear after childbirth. With sufficiently vigorous physical exercise, varicose veins that occur during pregnancy can be eliminated, even when the woman is pregnant. Surgical operations to remove veins or drain them are not successful. The use of elastic stockings or bands for support/veins is only a half measure and ultimately results in such weakening of the tissue that the condition becomes chronic or much more difficult to treat. To prevent varicose veins, you should: - avoid prolonged sitting in one position to prevent muscles from becoming numb, and long standing; - do physical exercises for your legs every day: rise on your toes more often, climb stairs on foot, swim, walk 1-3 km, stay in a pose with your legs raised above heart level for at least an hour; - do not gain excess weight.
• Mikulin’s exercises are very effective for clearing blood vessels: rise on your toes so that your heels lift off the floor by 1-2 cm, and then sharply lower yourself onto them. After doing this 30 times, rest for 10 seconds. The exercise should be performed calmly, slowly, 3-5 times a day, making no more than 60 hits of the heels on the floor each time.
• Fill a half-liter bottle with birch buds to 1/3 of its volume and fill it with vodka to the neck. Leave for 10 days, shaking occasionally. Apply this tincture to sore areas.
• Rinse 3 medium-sized Antonovka apples with cold water. Place them in an enamel bowl and pour 1 liter of boiling water. Leave for 3 hours, tightly wrapped. Then crush the apples and strain the resulting infusion. Drink 50 ml daily in the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening before bed. Prepare the infusion and take until the condition improves.
• When treating vein blockage, you need to simultaneously take baths and drink decoctions of various medicinal plants: chamomile, string, St. John's wort, oak branches, chestnut, willow. For baths: take 500 g (in winter - 300 g) of oak branches and the same number of chestnut and willow branches, put in an enamel bucket, fill with cold water, bring to a boil and boil for 30 minutes. Then add 200 g of herbs: marshweed, string, chamomile, St. John's wort and leave overnight. Separately, boil or steam 3 loaves of rye bread and pour the broth into the bath. Baths should be taken daily before bed for 30-40 minutes at 38-43°C. At the same time, you need to brew 1 liter of boiling water with a mixture of 1 tbsp. l. oak branches, 1 tbsp. l. willow branches and 1 tbsp. l. chestnut branches, boil for 30 minutes, add 1 tbsp to the broth. l. herbs: marshweed, string, chamomile, St. John's wort, leave for 12 hours, strain and add 2 tbsp. l. honey Drink 2-3 times a day, in the first 2 days 50 ml, then 2 days 100 ml, the remaining days 150 ml. The course of treatment is 20 days, break is 5-10 days. And repeat the course of treatment again.
• Infuse 50 g of horse chestnut flowers in 0.5 liters of wheat vodka in the dark for 14 days, shaking occasionally. Strain and drink 3 times a day, 30-40 drops, 20 minutes before meals. The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks. At the same time, you need to lubricate the affected areas several times a day with ointment: mix 10 g of chamomile powder, sage leaves and flowers, 50 g of mashed chestnut fruit and 5 g of potato starch. Pour the mixture into 200 g of hot chicken fat, simmer for 2.5 hours in a water bath, leave overnight, heat again to a boil, strain, squeeze and cool. 361
• For varicose veins and thrombophlebitis, grind into powder plantain leaves, rue officinalis and yarrow flowers, white willow bark (cambium is better), chestnut fruits or flowers, marshmallow or raspberry root (flowers and even leaves are possible) and chamomile, taken in equal proportions , mix thoroughly, brew 600 ml of boiling water 2 tbsp. l. mixture, bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat, and then leave overnight. Drink 3/4 glass in the morning and evening. Make a compress from the remainder for the night.
• Thrombophlebitis can be cured by taking an infusion of nettle leaves and following a diet (do not eat meat, fish, anything fried) for a long time. Nettle infusion: 1 tbsp. l. Brew the leaves with a glass of boiling water, leave for 40 minutes, strain. Drink 1-2 tbsp. l. 3 - 4 times a day before meals.
• To treat thrombophlebitis, before going to bed, take foot baths from an infusion of the herb cudweed. Shared baths are helpful. For foot baths, infuse 150 g of herbs in 10 liters of boiling water for 1 hour. The duration of the procedure is 20-30 minutes.
• For varicose veins, 2 times a day, morning and evening, rub all affected areas with apple cider vinegar and at the same time drink apple cider vinegar: 2 tsp. for 1 glass of water, 2 - 3 glasses per day.
• Swollen venous nodes are well absorbed by generous wetting and rubbing with alcohol tincture of white acacia flowers.
•For varicose veins, baths made from a decoction of willow bark are useful: brew 2 handfuls of bark with 5 liters of boiling water, put on low heat and heat for 30 minutes, strain.
• For thrombophlebitis, apply compresses from a decoction of bodyaga to the sore spot 1-2 times a day for 1.5 - 2 hours. Brew 0.5 liters of boiling water 2 tbsp. l. bodyagi, leave for 2 hours.
• A decoction of oak bark has a strengthening effect, like resin, on internal blood vessels. 1 tbsp. l. Brew the bark with 1 cup of boiling water, heat over low heat for 25 minutes, leave for 40 minutes, strain. Drink 1 tbsp. l. 3 times a day before meals.
• Taking 5-6 balls of spruce or pine resin orally for some time daily strengthens the chest and internal blood vessels (the balls will be digested).
• Brew 1 cup of boiling water 1 tbsp. l. crushed leaves or hazelnut bark and leave for 6 hours. Drink 3/4 cup 3-4 times a day 30 minutes before meals for a month.
• Pour 1 glass of vodka into 2 tbsp. l. crushed fresh Kalanchoe leaves and leave for a week. Rub this tincture on the feet affected by the disease for a month.
• Thoroughly grind freshly picked leaves and heads of silver wormwood in a mortar, mix 1 tbsp. l. prepared raw materials and 1 tbsp. l. sour milk or sour cream, apply an even layer on gauze and apply this gauze to areas with dilated veins for 1.5 - 2 hours. Such dressings should be applied for 4-5 days. After 2-3 days, treatment can be repeated.
• For varicose veins: mix an equal amount of mountain arnica and hazel bark (hazelnut), brew 600 ml of boiling water 2 tbsp. l. mixture and leave overnight in a thermos. Drink 3/4 glass 3 times a day before meals. At night, you should make compresses from whey: moisten a cloth in the whey, wrap it around the sore spots and cover with compress paper (it is not advisable to use cellophane to avoid diaper rash) for the whole night. In the morning, sore areas should be washed with cold water. In the absence of serum, you can use compresses from ground horse chestnut leaves. Compresses made from chestnut flowers (also ground) are more effective. The treatment is long-term.
• If your veins are dilated, walk early in the morning, before sunrise, in clean cotton socks on the dewy grass so that the socks are well saturated with water. When the sun rises, you need to walk around in these socks, without taking them off until they dry.
• Exercises: lying down, raise your right leg up, relax it as much as possible and sharply shake your foot. Lower your leg* Do the same with the other leg. Repeat 10-20 times. And so - several times a day. The bigger, the better. Walking and moderate exercise are the best prevention against varicose veins. From time to time it is necessary to take the “legs above head” position. In general, all exercises with leg lifts are useful.
• Nasturtium contains sulfur, which is necessary for the proper development and functioning of the body. An infusion of its leaves is effective for inflammation of the lymph glands. 10 g of leaves are brewed with 1 liter of boiling water, left for 10 minutes and filtered. Drink 1/2 glass throughout the day.
Vascular surgeons and phlebologists (these are specialists in the treatment of veins) often come with the following complaint: “Doctor, I have sharp pain in my legs, I can’t sleep at night, my fingers curl during the day.” When varicose veins are diagnosed, leg cramps are a common occurrence.
However, varicose veins are not the only cause of cramps; there are many other diseases in which cramps with varying strength and frequency torment patients. It has been established that for every second person over the age of 50, night cramps have become almost the norm. But it's not right! This pathological condition must have a cause, so it must be found and eliminated.
I have already mentioned the first reason - varicose veins in the legs. More precisely, not the veins themselves, but metabolic disorders that occur due to stagnation of blood in the lower extremities. Treatment of varicose veins, especially in the initial stages, can reduce the frequency and severity of seizures.
Here is a list of painful conditions that also cause the leg muscles to contract convulsively:
Such a footrest helps the blood to be distributed correctly
First, be thoroughly examined. It is necessary to donate blood for a general and extensive analysis; the doctor must know whether there are enough trace elements in your blood. A urine test is also necessary - suddenly you are losing too much “salt” without knowing it...
Secondly, you need to do an X-ray examination of the spine; I have already written that the root of all evil may lie precisely in the spine (displacement of the vertebrae). And take the pictures to a neurologist, or vice versa, the neurologist will prescribe an x-ray of the vertebrae. A vertebrologist also deals with problems of the spine.
Women should visit a gynecologist to make sure that there are no hormonal problems that interfere with calcium metabolism.
If varicose veins are suspected, leg cramps can be eliminated using a whole range of measures, but first you must undergo an ultrasound examination of the vessels of the legs. Varicose veins in the legs are treated depending on the degree of the disease - by a phlebologist or a vascular surgeon.
In case of diabetes and decreased thyroid function, patients are monitored by an endocrinologist. If you do not know your diagnosis, then you need to start by visiting a therapist, who will prescribe all the necessary tests and refer you to the right specialist.
There is a situation when there are no varicose veins yet, but heaviness in the legs after a working day, pain and cramps are already present. Often these are manifestations of the so-called chronic venous insufficiency, it occurs when standing all day at work (salespeople, hairdressers).
It is necessary to prevent the destruction of the valves of the veins, and to do this, buy yourself tights, stockings or leggings of class 1 compression and teach yourself to move more. Don't stand, but walk all the time. This is much healthier than standing for long periods of time.
When working sedentarily, it would be nice to install a stand under your feet (as in the picture, or show your imagination and build one from improvised means).
In the evening, be sure to take a contrast shower, watering your feet alternately with warm and cool water, ending with cool. After a shower, you can do a light massage with... aftershave cream containing menthol (don't be surprised, this is a phlebologist's advice!).
And one more thing - twice a year you need to take venotonics (Venarus, Detralex) in courses of 2 months. Pregnant women should wear compression stockings, having previously agreed on the compression class with a vascular doctor.
Now watch how the neurologist talks about leg cramps:
An ailment such as varicose veins in the legs is a real problem for every second inhabitant of the earth. The main manifestations of the disease are deformation of the vessels of the legs, as well as their displacement closer to the epithelial cover of the skin. The most unpleasant symptom of the pathology is cramps due to varicose veins.
Anyone who has ever been exposed to this disease knows how much discomfort it causes and how expensive therapy can be. As a rule, varicose veins bother the patient at night and it is unlikely that anyone would classify the sensations as pleasant. Let's figure out what causes spasms in varicose veins and what can be done to combat them.
Before starting treatment for varicose veins of the legs, you should find out the reasons that led to this or that symptom. Painful varicose veins can occur under the influence of the following factors.
However, this problem is also observed among young people who, due to their busy lives, do not engage in physical exercise and do not walk in the fresh air for the required amount of time.
It is important! As a rule, leg cramps occur at a time when the human body is in its most vulnerable and relaxed state. In other words, during night sleep.
That is why procedures aimed at treating varicose veins are carried out mainly 2-3 hours before going to bed.
If you have the slightest suspicion of varicose veins or are already worried about vascular spasms, rush to consult a phlebologist. The doctor will be able to tell exactly why the disease began and prescribe complex therapy. You may just need to replenish the lack of vitamins in your body so that the unpleasant symptoms go away.
A simple way to get rid of leg swelling and cramps! The result will not be long in coming! Our readers have confirmed that they use this method successfully. After carefully studying it, we decided to share it with you.
If the causes of problems with veins in the legs are clear, then the question itself arises: what to do next and how to treat the disease. It should immediately be noted that only a specialist should prescribe drug therapy. Taking independent measures to get rid of varicose veins will increase the effectiveness of the prescribed treatment.
First, try to reduce the stress on your feet and calves. With the initial symptoms of varicose veins, you should forget about shoes with high platforms or heels. You should walk more, but you need to do this slowly and in comfortable shoes.
You can overcome heaviness in your legs with a contrast shower. The water should not be too hot or cold. Direct the shower stream towards your feet, changing the temperature one at a time. It is best to carry out such manipulations in the evening - this will help reduce the risk of cramps during sleep.
Treatment using alternative medicine methods is aimed at getting rid of spasms in the legs, that is, cramps due to varicose veins. If the problem is not yet critical or you just want to prevent the disease, take note of a few recipes:
Note! There is a popular belief that a cramp that suddenly affects the legs can be quickly eliminated by applying pressure to the desired area with a pin or other sharp object. This is true, but care should be taken, because there is a risk of damaging the vessels that are close to the skin and thereby complicate the situation.
Despite all the variety of treatment methods for varicose veins, do not forget about basic preventive measures that will help you reduce the likelihood of the disease. Varicose veins are almost always easier to prevent than to start expensive treatment later.
Both already sick people and potential sick people need to adhere to proper nutrition, give up bad habits and thoroughly review their wardrobe. You should not save on shoes; give preference only to comfortable, “breathable” models made from natural materials.
And most importantly, if you notice convulsions or simply an unusual condition of your veins, do not hesitate to contact a phlebologist who will prescribe the appropriate treatment.

From a conversation with a senior researcher at the Department of Vascular Surgery at the Institute of Emergency Medicine. N. V. Sklifosofsky
Causes of varicose veins: congenital weakness of the muscle fibers that make up the walls of the superficial veins, work associated with heavy loads on the legs, excess weight, infection of the nervous system of the veins, pregnancy (hormones released during pregnancy weaken the muscles of the venous wall).
Complications of varicose veins include the appearance of skin ulcers and thrombosis.
Treatment of the disease cannot be delayed; it is necessary to begin treatment until the thickness of the veins on the surface exceeds 5 mm, and the nodes do not exceed 7 mm.
During treatment, you need to wear loose clothing and shoes, do not sit without moving, do not cross your legs, and do not carry heavy objects.
Exercises for varicose veins of the legs - walking, walking barefoot, walking on tiptoe, climbing stairs. The best exercise for varicose veins: stand on tiptoes and sharply lower your heels, do this 30 times, 5-6 approaches per day. Sit more often with your legs raised above your heart, and even better above your head. Another very good exercise: lie on your back, raise your legs, relax them and shake your legs.
Nutrition for varicose veins: eat buckwheat more often (rutin strengthens the walls of blood vessels), salads from dandelion leaves. Garlic, onions, honey, tomatoes, and lemons are good for treating varicose veins.
You can use folk remedies:
To treat veins and blood vessels, prepare the following remedy: mince or grate 250 g of peeled garlic (you can also use onions) and pour in 350 g of liquid honey, leave for 1 week. Take 1 tbsp. l. 3 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is 2 months.
Tomato: for treatment, place thin slices of tomato on varicose veins, secure, after three hours add fresh slices
Lemon: rub your legs with a slice of lemon - lemon juice is a good tonic for the veins.
To treat varicose veins, take the following herbs individually and in combinations:
Sweet clover - contains coumarins, which reduce blood clotting and improve blood circulation.
Lobaznik, raspberry, peony - contain salicylates that prevent vein thrombosis.
Hops - increases the tone of the veins, drink the infusion 1 glass before meals and as a lotion on varicose veins.

Varicose veins on the legs are a condition that can lead to serious complications. At the same time, its prevention is quite simple, and early treatment will give excellent results.
Varicose veins are a set of pathological changes in the veins, which are characterized by a decrease in the elasticity of the venous vessels, their irreversible expansion and elongation, followed by deformation and the formation of specific nodes. Varicose veins on the legs are most often diagnosed, although in fact, veins can also be enlarged in other areas, for example, the abdomen, esophagus. And varicose veins of the rectum are the main link in the development of hemorrhoids.
Depending on the causes and mechanism of development in a particular patient, primary and secondary varicose veins are distinguished. Primary occurs against the background of complete health, secondary – as a complication of the underlying disease.
The causes of the first type of varicose veins have not yet been precisely established. The main focus is on genetic predisposition. Genes convey to us the structural features of the vascular wall. If it is weak, then with increased load the first signs of the disease will appear. However, genetics itself is not the cause of pathology. Scientists point to a number of provoking factors, the combined effect of which contributes to the development of the clinical picture. Here are just the main ones:
All these conditions lead to overload of the veins of the lower extremities with the subsequent development of pathological symptoms.
The main causes of secondary varicose veins are injuries, neoplasms, postthrombophlebitic syndrome and other diseases that impede the outflow of blood through the veins.
At the beginning of the development of varicose veins in the legs, patients complain of heaviness and a feeling of fullness in the legs. The legs swell slightly, mainly in the ankle area. These signs appear at the end of the working day or after exercise. After a night's sleep, the symptoms disappear. It is also characteristic that the condition may improve after walking - muscle work promotes the outflow of fluid. At night, calf muscle cramps may bother you. According to the results of additional research methods, no changes in the vessels are recorded. This is the so-called “zero” stage of varicose veins.
At the same time or a little later, swelling appears. As with the previous symptoms, the legs swell in the late afternoon, and after rest the condition returns to normal. A vascular network appears, visible to the naked eye. This is the first stage of the disease.
In the second stage of the disease, the patient independently discovers altered veins and nodules. They are blue in color, translucent through the skin, and increase in size after a long stay in one position or after exercise. The legs swell more, but, as in the first stage, the pain and swelling are periodic. At this stage, the formation of blood clots is already possible.
In the third stage, symptoms are constantly disturbing. The swelling decreases in the morning, but does not disappear completely. Severe pain affects the patient's quality of life.
In the fourth stage of varicose veins, the swelling becomes permanent. Due to fluid stagnation, the delivery of nutrients to the skin noticeably worsens, and trophic changes develop. The skin becomes brown. Atrophic areas appear - white, sunken spots on a dark background. Inflammatory lesions of varying severity develop - from small redness to large weeping areas. The veins are greatly dilated, tortuous, and nodular. Favorable conditions are created for the development of trophic ulcers.
The fifth and sixth stages of varicose veins are diagnosed when the patient has all of the above symptoms and a trophic ulcer is formed. In the first case it is healed, in the second it is active.
Varicose veins on the legs are exactly the case when preventing is much easier and simpler than treating. This can be seen from the reasons that cause the development of the disease. So, prevention of varicose veins.
If, despite preventive measures, you observe signs of varicose veins, you should immediately consult a doctor. There is no need to try to treat the disease yourself. Early contact with a specialist will give good results and help prevent serious complications.
The main goal of treatment measures is to eliminate the increased load on the veins and normalize blood flow in the limb. This can be achieved conservatively and surgically. It is believed that until the fourth stage of varicose veins, you can get by with conservative measures alone. However, this division is rather arbitrary, because patients respond differently to the same drugs.
Very often, doctors recommend that patients with varicose veins wear compression stockings - stockings, knee socks, elastic bandages. It is able to equalize the load on the limb and improve blood flow. As a result, the legs do not swell so much, the feeling of fatigue and pain are reduced. Of course, treating varicose veins with trophic ulcers using knitwear is pointless, but in the early stages it is a fairly effective remedy that significantly slows down the course of the disease.
The following groups of medications are indicated for patients suffering from varicose veins:
This direction involves the use of several techniques, each of which has its own indications and contraindications.
Varicose veins should only be treated by a highly qualified specialist. Local remedies used independently by patients can reduce pain and swelling, but will not in any way affect the pathogenetic link of the disease. Timely treatment will prevent serious complications of varicose veins, the most common of which are thromboembolism of various locations. Do not ignore preventive measures, especially if your relatives suffer from varicose veins of the lower extremities. By adhering to very simple rules, you will save yourself from a lot of trouble.
Varicose veins can present with a variety of different symptoms. These include swelling, a feeling of heaviness in the legs, and of course cramps. This symptom is one of the most unpleasant manifestations of the disease, because it is accompanied by severe pain in the legs.
Cramps are involuntary spasms of muscle fibers that occur as a result of tissue ischemia. In other words, cramps occur when the blood doesn't bring enough oxygen to the muscles.
With varicose veins of the lower extremities, venous blood, saturated with carbon dioxide and metabolic products of the body, accumulates and stagnates in the vessels of the legs. As a result of this, the muscles and skin of the legs not only do not receive the required amount of oxygen, but also begin to absorb harmful substances that have accumulated in the stagnant blood.
As a result of this process, a patient with varicose veins experiences convulsions. They can appear both during the working day and at night during sleep. These seizures can be very painful and greatly affect a person's quality of life.
According to statistics, cramps occur more often in patients with varicose veins who spend a lot of time on their feet. Those patients who spend more time sitting are less likely to suffer from uncontrollable muscle spasms.
To relieve symptoms, many people prick themselves in the area of pain with needles or other sharp objects. Although this method can indeed help get rid of cramps, it can lead to injuries and complications of varicose veins. For this reason, we do not recommend this method as an emergency treatment for seizures.
A much more correct and effective method to get rid of spasms is the following exercise:
There are a number of measures that you can take to minimize or completely eliminate the occurrence of cramps due to varicose veins. These include:
By applying the techniques described above daily, you can significantly reduce, and sometimes completely eliminate, cramps.
Treatment of seizures due to varicose veins is complex. All therapeutic measures should be aimed at treating symptoms, and at treating the disease. All symptoms of varicose veins will gradually go away on their own.
Treatment of varicose veins can be divided into 2 groups:
Home activities include activities that each person can do on their own, without consulting a doctor. Such methods can not only prevent the development of varicose veins, but also completely cure them. These include:
Surgical treatment of varicose veins is used in patients with advanced manifestations of the pathology, such as strongly protruding painful veins in the legs, daily cramps and swelling, and the presence of trophic ulcers.
Drug treatment involves the use of special ointments and gels. Such remedies improve blood flow, strengthen and nourish the walls of blood vessels, relieve inflammation and pain, and also prevent the occurrence of seizures. Such remedies can be used at any stage of varicose veins. You can buy them without a prescription at your local pharmacy or even online. Popular means include:
Remember that if you start using the above recommendations, relief will come soon. When using medications and home measures, you must wait at least 2 weeks for the first results.
