However, you don’t have to give up high heels at all. Just try not to wear them every day, alternating them with more foot-friendly shoes. Also, no matter how beautiful the shoes are, you should refrain from buying them if they seem even a little uncomfortable to you when you try them on. Some women are willing to buy shoes that are a little too tight in hopes of wearing them out. However, these days there are a huge number of cute shoes in stores, you can always find a more comfortable alternative, but you only have feet. Orthopedic insoles will also help alleviate their plight.

You should approach the choice of tights, socks, and stockings with no less responsibility. It is recommended to prefer natural materials: silk, linen, wool, cotton. But in synthetic tights and stockings, your legs get tired faster. And this does not mean that you are now doomed to constantly wear trousers in combination with cotton socks during the cold season. Then apply cream to your feet, preferably with menthol. Almond oil with a few drops of lemon essential oil also works well.
  • If you don’t like sudden changes in temperature, then instead of a contrast shower, you can take a warm foot bath.

    Baths for tired legs

    If you hold your limbs for 10-15 minutes just in cool water, you will already feel relief. But you can complicate this procedure by adding herbs, sea salt, and essential oils.

    Herbs can work real miracles. You can make baths with their infusions that will restore vigor to your legs:

  • For a liter of boiling water, take 2 tablespoons of dried linden and chamomile flowers. Fill them with water and leave for 5-7 minutes. Strain, dilute with another liter of warm water and add a tablespoon of honey. Keep your feet in this bath for 10-15 minutes, then lubricate with cream.
  • For another bath you will need 2 tablespoons of dry mint or one tablespoon each of mint and nettle. Prepare the infusion, wait until it cools to the temperature you need, then lower your feet into it for 15-20 minutes.
  • If you have essential oils at your disposal, you can also prepare wonderful baths with them:

  • Place ice cubes in cold water. Mix a tablespoon of milk with a couple of drops of mint essential oil. Add to the water and soak your feet in it for 10-15 minutes. This bath is very good in the summer heat. You can also add a little lemon juice to it.
  • Mix 5 drops of lavender oil with a tablespoon of sea salt and add warm water. Soak your feet in this bath for 10-15 minutes.
  • You can use other essential oils as well. Regardless of whether you choose one or more, the optimal total amount is 3-5 drops per bath. In addition to the above, oils of geranium, rosemary, lemon, juniper, chamomile, and cypress help well. However, it should be remembered that they are not added “clean” to the water. Essential oils do not dissolve in water, therefore, so that they do not float on top as a film, they should first be combined with some kind of base (soda, salt, milk, clay, etc.). If you are pregnant, these products should be used with caution. After all, certain essential oils may be contraindicated in your situation. It is best to consult your doctor about their use.

    If you don’t have any herbs or oils at home, and your feet hurt, you can use what is available in every kitchen: soda or salt (preferably sea salt, but regular salt will do). They are taken in the amount of two tablespoons per bath.

    In case of severe general fatigue, nothing can help better than a full body bath.

    Folk remedies for tired legs

    Sometimes pain is accompanied by swelling. Folk remedies will help remove them.

    Ice cubes made from infusions of herbs such as chamomile, yarrow, sage, and lemon balm are good for getting rid of swelling. Just rub it over your tired feet, massaging gently.

    Cabbage leaves will also help relieve swelling. It should be rolled with a rolling pin and then applied to areas with swelling. A bandage or plaster will help secure it. You need to keep this compress for at least half an hour.
