If structum causes allergic reactions, analogues of the drug are selected. If chondroprotectors are used in liquid form for injection, a side effect such as hemorrhages at the injection sites (small bruises) is possible.

Blue capsules in a gelatin shell are available in two dosages of chondroitin sulfate in powder form - 250 mg and 500 mg. Capsules with a dosage of 250 mg are placed in blisters of 15 pieces, and blisters are placed in cardboard packaging of 4 pieces. There are 60 capsules in total in one package.
Capsules with a dosage of 500 mg are placed in blisters of 12 pieces, the package contains 5 blisters. Packages of 30 or 100 capsules are available for sale.
Children over 15 years of age and adults are recommended to take 750 mg of the drug twice a day for the first three weeks of treatment. Then the single dosage is reduced to 500 mg. Capsules are intended for oral administration, do not chew them and are washed down with water. The first course of treatment lasts six months.
Chondroprotectors accumulate in the body, their effect lasts from 3 to 5 months after the course of treatment is completed - this is when the result is assessed. How long the effect of the drug will last depends on the form of the disease and its stage at the time of treatment.
Liquid for injection is administered intramuscularly. Initially, the drug is administered in 0.1 g doses. once every two days. If liquid chondroprotectors are well tolerated, the dosage is doubled from day 4. The course of treatment includes from 25 to 35 injections, it is repeated no earlier than six months later.
Sometimes the drug can be prescribed to patients suffering from a tendency to bleeding and hemorrhage, if the degree of changes in the joint structures requires it and the general condition of the patient allows it.
Treatment at home in this case is unacceptable; the patient must be admitted to a hospital and be under constant medical supervision.
Chondroprotectors of this type are available only with a doctor's prescription.
