Photo gallery: Finger shape and character
Since ancient times, people have noticed the connection between a person’s character and his physiological parameters. It is not without reason that many fortune tellings are based on examining the shape of hands and fingers. The shape of the fingers will unmistakably determine who is an esthete and who has more pragmatic thinking, and will even tell you what profession a person should choose.
First of all, pay attention to the length of your finger. If the fingers are long, thin and slightly pointed, then their owner is certainly a refined person who loves beauty. This is a born esthete, a connoisseur of the arts and everything connected with them. In addition, long fingers characterize a neat and even slightly pedantic person. As a rule, fingers of this type are found in musicians, artists, and actors. These people are not suited to hard work. The spiritual is valued much more than the material. They strive to idealize the world, for which they often pay with severe disappointment.
Short and thick fingers can be a sign of greed and selfishness. But, nevertheless, this shape of the fingers can indicate hard work and activity. These people are used to achieving everything through their own labor. They do rather than talk. An active person, a true pragmatist and realist.
The wrinkled and inward shape of the fingers characterizes a very cautious person. “Measure seven times, cut once,” this is his life motto, sometimes turning into Chekhov’s “no matter what happens.” Therefore, such people rarely get involved in adventures and adventures. Risk is not for them. They try to go with the flow and not resist external factors.
On the contrary, people whose fingers are shaped slightly backward are characterized by openness and sociability. Such a person strives for new knowledge, is extremely smart and friendly. Communication with people in his life plays one of the main roles.
Plump and soft fingertips reveal a soft and kind nature. Tactful by nature, such people simply do not know how to say nasty things and plot intrigues.
But a person whose finger shape can be characterized as plump at the base will most likely turn out to be an egoist. Standing firmly on his feet is above all benefits for him, even if this happens to the detriment of others. Such a person is rarely interested in other people’s opinions, but he is able to impose his own on anyone.
In turn, fingers thin at the base are observed in those who place other people's ideals above their own. He will give his last, even if he really needs it. Capable of empathy. Moreover, the tendency to become imbued with other people’s problems sometimes goes to the extreme.
The knotty shape of the fingers is observed in people inclined to the exact sciences. Numbers are their passion. The ability to weigh and think through everything in detail often helps them in life.
Smooth fingers most likely indicate a person who is capable of creating something with his own hands. Moreover, they rarely learn this; the process of practicing the craft is carried out on an intuitive level.
Those who were lucky enough to be born with spade-shaped fingers are supporters of abstract thinking. The arguments of reason are alien to them; the emotional sphere takes precedence over the rational.
Having an idea of what your finger shape indicates will make it easier for you to prioritize many of your priorities in life. For those who have not yet decided on a profession, it will help you find yourself and indicate what you have more pronounced inclinations towards. And also what advantages of your character should be emphasized, and what shortcomings need to be dealt with.
Why label everything as superstition and deny the obvious? Namely, the development of individual parts of a person’s body indicates his behavior and habits. Just as broken ears and a flattened nose indicate a fighter, long thin fingers indicate a pianist or surgeon, so the toes, on which our gait and ability to maintain balance depend, can provide their own clue. What to expect from an individual with a specific leg structure?
Such a foot is also called “peasant”, because in it not one of the toes dominates the others and all bear the stamp of hard work. These are the traits of a practical, caring, honest person who tends to solve rather than stir up conflicts.
An indication that there is some flaw or zest in the whole personality. This could be a tendency toward rebellion or adventurism, a hint of infantility or childish playfulness, a desire to follow the rules, even to the point of making reckless decisions. In any case, it won't be boring.
A useful property for travelers and it doesn’t matter that nowadays everyone wears only comfortable shoes. The very fact that the fingers move apart, looking for support in order to tenaciously stand on it, indicates the restless nature of their owner.
A powerful large toe and a “retinue” of the rest are approximately the same length. Such a person as a commander loves to invade where he can achieve success, relying on his skills and the support of his character. For example, getting involved in heated arguments, defending them until you are hoarse, because you cannot retreat.
The analogue of the index finger is shifted to the thumb, the others are grouped together, separately from those two. This is a sign of a balanced person who, even in walking, relies on two different forces and does not give preference to anyone or anything other than confidence and reliability in his actions.
The thumb, like its outsider owner, prefers to stay away from everyone else. As far as possible, so as not to completely lose contact with them, but not to consider yourself bound by any strict obligations. Such a person is impressed by the work of the “devil's advocate” or the role of an anti-hero.
A clear profile, in which each next finger is smaller than the previous one, is one of the most common options. A confident average guy who likes everything that the majority of people like - traveling, meeting people, having fun, learning new things. A sociable, but not necessarily good-natured character.
This case has many nicknames: Greek foot, foot of fire, Morton foot, etc. The bottom line is that if a person’s second finger turns out to be larger than his thumb, then you should expect other tricks from such a stranger. Sometimes it’s just ebullient energy and impulsiveness, other times it’s about creativity. Negativity, alas, is not excluded.
According to Chinese tradition, he is a person of strong will and resourcefulness. He is a perfectionist, but not a stubborn sheep, but a skillful strategist and hard worker.
Problems with personal life, and not only on the sexual front, but instability in general. Such a person’s priorities are set chaotically and it is not a fact that he is trying to follow them.
If your toes are always cold, one reason may be poor blood flow, which is sometimes associated with smoking, high blood pressure or heart disease. Other possible causes of cold extremities include nerve damage from uncontrolled diabetes, thyroid hormone deficiency, and anemia. Usually the doctor tries to find the cause. If it turns out that everything is fine with your health, then just come to terms with this feature of your body.
When feet hurt at the end of the day, 8 out of 10 women blame their shoes. But pain not associated with high heels can also be caused by a stress fracture, a small crack in the bone. One possible reason is excessively intense physical activity (basketball, football and other sports). In addition, osteoporosis increases the risk of stress fracture.
With Raynaud's disease, the fingers turn white, then turn blue, red and take on a natural color. The cause is a sudden narrowing of the arteries called vasospasm. Stress or changes in temperature can cause vasospasm, which usually does not lead to other health problems. Raynaud's disease is usually associated with rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögren's disease, or thyroid disease.
In some cases, the initial sign of a problem may be a change in gait: a wider stride or dragging of the feet. This is due to loss of sensation in the legs as a result of damage to the peripheral nerves. In approximately 30% of cases, the cause is diabetes. The remaining 70% is due to various infections, hypovitaminosis, alcoholism and diseases of the nervous system. Very often it is impossible to determine the cause of the lesion.
The most common cause of heel pain is plantar fasciitis, inflammation where the ligament attaches to the heel bone. The most acute pain usually occurs in the morning, when a person wakes up and rests on his feet for the first time. Arthritis, excessive exercise, poorly fitting shoes, and tendonitis (inflammation of the tendons) can also cause heel pain. Less common causes include calluses, bone infections, tumors, or fractures. With this disease, the terminal phalanges of the fingers, limbs, hands and toes thicken. The shape of the nail changes: it becomes more round and curved, similar to a convex lens. The main cause of such deformities is lung diseases, as well as problems with the heart, digestive system, liver and a number of infections. In some cases, the special shape of the fingers is inherited and is not correlated with any diseases.
This is usually a temporary phenomenon caused by prolonged standing or flying, especially in pregnant women. However, persistently swollen feet can be a sign of a serious illness. The cause of puffiness can be poor circulation, problems with the lymphatic system or blood clot, as well as kidney and thyroid disease. If your legs often swell, consult a doctor.
This symptom is typical for diabetics and is associated with damage to peripheral nerves. The burning sensation can be caused by a vitamin B deficiency, athlete's foot, chronic kidney disease, poor circulation (peripheral artery disease), or hypothyroidism.
Wounds that won't heal are a major sign of diabetes. This condition can affect foot sensation, circulation and wound healing, so even a simple blister can become a serious problem. The situation is further aggravated by the fact that ulcers easily become infected. People with diabetes should wash, dry their feet thoroughly, and check them for any damage every day. Slow healing of ulcers can also be caused by poor blood circulation due to peripheral artery disease.
Gout is a known culprit for sudden pain in the big toe joint, accompanied by redness and swelling. Another cause of discomfort and swelling is osteoarthritis. If joint mobility is limited, arthritis is suspected, which results in bone growths that impede their normal movement. Some athletes, especially those who train on hard surfaces, suffer from inflammation of the big toe joint. It occurs due to damage to the ligaments around the joint.
If there is a burning or shooting pain in the forefoot that radiates to the toes, Morton's neuroma may be suspected. The disease is characterized by thickening of the tissue around the nerve, usually between the 3rd and 4th toes. It becomes the result of injury or excessive pressure on the toes - another reason to stop wearing high-heeled shoes. Note that Morton's neuroma is 4 times more common in women than in men.
Itchy, scaly skin can be a manifestation of athlete's foot, a common fungal infection. An allergic reaction to any chemicals or skin care cosmetics - so-called contact dermatitis - is another cause of discomfort, redness and dryness in some areas of the skin. If, along with itching, there is thickening and flaking of the skin, then the doctor may suspect psoriasis, a hyperreactivity of the immune system. Medicated creams may help reduce these symptoms.
Hammer toes can occur due to wearing tight shoes or nerve-damaging diseases: diabetes, alcoholism, etc. What happens to the toes? Their base is raised, the fingers are bent in the middle and therefore resemble a hammer. For this problem, it is recommended to perform special exercises and wear properly selected shoes. In some cases, it is necessary to resort to surgical treatment methods.
Sudden, sharp pain in the foot is a telltale sign of a muscle spasm or cramp that may last several minutes. Muscle strain is a common cause. Other causes include poor circulation, dehydration, lack of balance of potassium, magnesium, calcium or vitamin D in the body. Changing hormone levels during pregnancy or thyroid problems may play a role. If you have frequent painful cramps, then there is a reason to consult a doctor. Strengthening exercises can help combat muscle fatigue.
It is generally accepted that skin cancer is associated with exposure to sunlight. However, melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer, can develop in areas of the body that are not exposed to the sun. It can form under the nail plate and look like a dark spot.
Your nails can say a lot about a person's overall health. A fungal infection often results in thickened, yellow toenails. These nails may also be a sign of a medical condition, including lymphedema (swelling caused by a problem with the lymphatic system), lung problems, psoriasis, or rheumatoid arthritis.
Sometimes nail injuries, iron deficiency or frequent use of organic solvents can lead to this concave nail shape.
Nail injury or disease of any organ can lead to white spots on the nails. If all or part of the nail separates from the nail bed, the area may turn white. The cause may be injury, infection or psoriasis. If your nails are damaged and most of them are white, it can sometimes be a sign of a more serious condition, including liver disease, congestive heart failure, or kidney disease. Consult your doctor if you notice this problem.
Grooves or pits that look like punctures are the result of abnormal nail growth. This nail deformation is typical for half of patients with psoriasis.
In gypsy palmistry, each finger bears the name of one of the planets and is a “conductor” of the qualities that this planet symbolizes. Thumb - Apollo. Index - Jupiter. Middle - Saturn. Nameless - Sun. Little finger - Mercury. So, how can one determine the future and present of a person by the shape of his fingers?
Pointed - talent, dependence on inspiration. But if the remaining fingers are not pointed, but
any other form - superficiality, talkativeness.
Square - sincerity, truthfulness, intelligence.
Indefinite form - thoroughness, commercial abilities, desire for wealth.
Spatula shape - dramatic abilities, quickness of thought, mobility.
Index finger (Jupiter)
Pointed - inspiration. Square - dreaminess.
With a spatula - a penchant for mysticism and everything mysterious; mistakes and misconceptions are possible. Middle finger (Saturn)
The pointed shape of the finger means frivolity, gullibility, carelessness.
Square - seriousness, thoroughness.
A swollen finger shape means sadness and suicidal tendencies.
With a spatula - gloominess, depressed character, misanthropy, hypochondria.
Ring finger (Sun)
In all its forms, to one degree or another (depending on other signs), it serves as a manifestation of strength, love for family life, and the desire for well-being. Little finger (Mercury). Pointed - a penchant for mysticism, cunning, theological sciences, eloquence and foresight. Square - the ability to experiment, a penchant for invention, the ability to clearly and clearly express one’s thoughts, a logical mind.
With a spatula - a penchant for everything exotic, “out of the blue,” both in life and in science and art. With bad inclinations - a talented thief, forger and swindler.
The length of the finger and individual joints also has its own meaning in gypsy palmistry.
Thus, short-sighted and unobservant people have a straight and short index finger.
In melancholic people, the fingers of Saturn (middle) take on very large sizes. The size of Apollo's finger (thumb) corresponds to talent and the desire for wealth. The little fingers (fingers of Mercury) are the same length as the fourth finger, most often in people devoted to science.
If Jupiter's index finger is longer than the others, pride or religiosity will prevail in life.
If Saturn (middle) - predestination, dependence on fate.
If Apollo (unnamed) - art or wealth will prevail, depending on the lines. If Mercury (little finger) - science or cunning.
If Apollo (thumb) or Mercury (little finger) is longer than Saturn (middle), then art or science will triumph over fate.
The size and ratio of the joints of the fingers also plays a certain role in fortune telling by hand.
1st joint means the divine region;
2nd - abstract area;
3rd - material area.
If, in comparison with other joints, the 1st joint of Jupiter is long, this indicates inspiration,
If the 2nd joint is longer - ambition, pride.
If the 3rd joint is more developed and longer - the desire for honor, pride, the desire to command.
The 1st joint of Saturn, long and wide, indicates sadness, superstition. If he is very developed -
The 2nd joint, depending on how strongly developed it is, indicates greater or lesser ability
to agriculture and exact sciences, and with straight fingers - to abstract sciences.
Lengthening the 3rd joint is stinginess.
Apollo has: elongated 1st joint - an irresistible passion for the arts.
2nd - the desire for self-improvement through work, rationality and logic.
3rd - vanity, the desire to show oneself from an advantageous point of view.
Mercury - elongated 1st joint - has a love of science and eloquence. 2nd - inclination towards commerce. 3rd - cunning and dexterity.
Fingerprints appear in a person in the womb, at the age of 18 weeks after conception. Dermatoglyphics studies the ribbed patterns on the fingers. Fingerprints remain the same throughout life, while other lines on the palms constantly change.
This property of innate patterns allows the fingerprint comparison method to be widely used in searching for criminals and identifying individuals.
There are three main types of fingerprints: loop, whorl, and arch, with variations within each type.
There may be different types of fingerprints on a hand. This suggests that a person’s character combines various, often contradictory, traits. In this case, it is necessary to determine the dominant type, which will determine the basic outline of individuality. For example, a person who has a vault pattern on several fingers will be more stubborn than someone who has this feature on only one finger. The larger the area the drawing occupies, the more pronounced the features it points to.
The location of the pattern on the finger is also important. If the center of the picture is located above the center of the phalanx, then the person’s energy finds its expression in the intellectual sphere; if lower, we have a person who attaches greater importance to the practical side of life.
We will continue our fascinating hand fortune telling by examining and studying our fingers and nails. You can learn a lot of new and interesting things about yourself and your character. Read, look at the drawings that will help you determine the shape of your nails and maybe you will discover something new.
An impulsive, quick in his judgment and impatient person.
Not good at speculative conclusions, but a good performer.
Can be selfish and cruel when it comes to his own interests.
Some people love to eat, drink and have a good time.
You can rely on such a person, you can trust him.
Materialist and loves earthly pleasures.
Love of beauty and culture are the main interests of such a person.
Diplomatic and in control of his emotions.
Very careful and circumspect; always thinks about decisions before making them.
Has strong evaluative abilities.
He is usually kind, sympathetic and helpful, but he is also suspicious.
Such a person is insidious, selfish and suspicious, these qualities are especially manifested in a person whose fingers are bent towards the palm.
A good, sociable conversationalist, but a fan of blurting out secrets.
Such a person is an analyst who notices the smallest details.
The front node shows a person’s prudence and caution in everything.
The middle node shows a mediocre mind.
When both nodes stand out well, such a person usually irritates everyone and is difficult to live with.
If the joints at the base of the fingers are uneven, then such a person has a lack of care for neatness, health and punctuality.
Such a person expresses remarks harshly and impulsively.
Quite emotional and subordinate to his passions.
Distance between fingers
The wide space between the thumb and index finger shows independence, generosity, and restraint of internal impulses. The distance between the index and middle fingers is a sign of disregard for traditions, preference for one’s own opinion without taking into account the opinions of others. The distance between the middle and ring fingers is a harmonious balance between social and personal needs. The distance between the ring finger and the little finger is frankness, sincerity, indifference to what others think. The wide space between all fingers reveals a bohemian person who acts as he wishes, breaking conventions and traditions.
If the anterior phalanx is longer, then such a person is controlled by higher instincts.
The middle phalanx is longer - such a person is well versed in business. The lower phalanx is longer - a person lives only for today. All phalanxes are long - strength and authority, ambition, patience and prudence.
All phalanges are short - strength, vitality, spontaneity and mobility.

The birth of a child is an exciting event that parents look forward to. The discovery of birth defects can darken the joy. One of the variants of the pathology is syndactyly - fusion of the toes. Doctors cannot always accurately determine the causes of this rare defect. The pathology can only be eliminated surgically. The operation allows the foot to return to its normal shape.
Fused toes in a newborn baby are a rare occurrence. According to medical statistics, out of 3 thousand children born, only one will have a pathology of their toes. Experts clarify that most cases of syndactyly are recorded in newborn girls.
The defect is formed at the stage of embryonic development. This makes it possible to predict the birth of a child with fused toes using an ultrasound scan during pregnancy. With normal development without deviations, the structural elements of the embryo’s feet are formed at 4-5 weeks of gestation. Further differentiation continues until the 8th week.
The reasons for disruption of the normal course of intrauterine development may lie in the influence of external factors. Most often, children with abnormalities are born due to the influence of toxic substances on the mother’s body. The list of potentially dangerous ones includes:
Specialists from reproductive medicine and genetics clinics warn that a woman, even at the stage of pregnancy planning, should avoid the influence of toxic substances. The formation of the skeleton and internal organs of the embryo occurs at the initial stages, when the expectant mother may not even be aware that conception has occurred.
The process of intrauterine development is influenced by diseases suffered by a woman during pregnancy. Mumps, syphilis, tuberculosis, and influenza are considered dangerous.
There are other reasons for the development of the defect. Geneticists believe that toe syndactyly is a hereditary trait. There is a high probability of having a child with a pathology if one of the parents had it.
It is not difficult to determine finger fusion by external signs. The pathology is detected immediately after birth. During the examination, doctors will not only record the presence of a defect, but also determine its type. Symptoms of different forms of syndactyly may differ from each other.
With this defect, the child’s foot is modified. Normally, all 5 fingers of the limb are free, but under certain circumstances the anatomical structure is disrupted. Most often, the pathology affects the 2nd and 3rd toes. Syndactyly can be unilateral. In this case, only one limb is affected. The toes can grow together symmetrically on both feet. In this case, we are talking about bilateral syndactyly.
The symptoms of the defect are obvious. Experts distinguish several forms of pathology. The division is based on additional changes in the structure of the fingers. So, in some cases, syndactyly affects only soft tissues. This is the mildest form of pathology, which practically does not affect the functioning of the child’s musculoskeletal system. Other varieties are considered complicated.
Syndactyly in a mild form may not affect the child’s health, but the defect cannot be left unattended. Sometimes fusion of toes is accompanied by other gene or chromosomal syndromes, which entails delayed physical and mental development.
Loving parents worry about the health of their child. If fused toes are noticed after birth, your pediatrician will tell you what this means. A child with a foot defect should be examined by a pediatric surgeon or orthopedist. As a rule, to avoid developing clubfoot in the future, the doctor will recommend surgically solving the problem.
Experts identify several types of syndactyly. The forms of pathology differ in the degree of fusion. The main features of each type are discussed in the table.
Fusion of soft tissue and skin is more common. In this case, adhesions form between the toes. The length of the common area may vary. Based on this feature, complete and partial fusion are distinguished. Thus, with incomplete syndactyly, the upper phalanges of the fingers may remain free.
If the child’s foot is modified and the fusion of the toes is visually noticeable, the doctor will recommend an operation to separate the phalanges. Before surgery, additional diagnostics must be performed. This will allow you to assess the degree of deformation and determine the tactics of the operation.
The main diagnostic technique is radiographic examination. The doctor will examine the images in two projections to determine the condition of the bones. It is important to determine the location of the nerves and blood vessels supplying the foot. For this purpose, the following are additionally prescribed:
After collecting all the necessary data, preparations for the operation begin. If syndactyly is only a cosmetic defect and does not interfere with the normal development of the foot, then intervention is postponed until the child reaches 4 years of age. This is the optimal time for the operation. Early elimination of the pathology is necessary if syndactyly prevents the uniform growth of the toes. In exceptional cases, the operation is performed at the age of 6-12 months.
In most cases, the operation is successful. Even with complete bone fusion, it is possible to separate the toes and restore the functions of the foot.
After finger separation surgery, there is a recovery period. During rehabilitation, wearing a plaster splint is indicated. This measure is necessary to fix the foot in the correct position. Gel inserts are placed between the fingers. After 3-4 months, the child will be able to remove the structure and freely rest on his leg. At the same time, the surgeon observing the child will be able to assess the success of the operation. The doctor will evaluate joint mobility, muscle function and sensitivity of the fingers.
Rehabilitation measures begin 14 days after surgery. Physiotherapy methods will help restore the functioning of the limb.
If the child complains of pain after separating the fingers, the doctor will prescribe a safe analgesic. You may need to take anti-inflammatory drugs.
In some cases, fused fingers are a cosmetic defect. Thus, with the membranous form of syndactyly, there are no direct indications for surgical intervention. Surgeries to eliminate pathology are also performed on adults. Most often this is necessary to restore the aesthetic appearance of the foot.
More recently, I became seriously interested in the science of palmistry. Agree, it’s very interesting to look at the intricacy of lines, many tubercles and depressions on each palm. And by the way, knowledgeable people can read all these drawings, solve them and tell about the fate of a person. But is it really possible to learn about a person’s character from their toes? It turns out yes, and almost anyone can do it. Even the world famous Sherlock Holmes in the famous work of Conan Doyle used this method when investigating another case. In some incomprehensible way, our toes are connected to our personality. So, let's figure it all out!
What does each finger say?
Absolutely all the toes on our feet characterize some area of life. Their length, shape, presence of calluses and other defects will tell a lot about their owner. Therefore, if you have met a person, but you just can’t figure him out, try, first of all, to look at his legs. For example, if a baby is born, look at his toes, because it is from them that you can understand in which area of life the child will perform best. But remember, the “decoding” of the toes on the right and left feet is significantly different.
- the thumb indicates a tendency to depression;
- the index finger indicates intimacy;
- the middle finger shows how talented and creative a person is;
— the ring finger is a person’s ability to build relationships with the opposite sex;
— the little finger signals the attitude of its owner to the people around him and the world.
— the thumb is responsible for optimism and cheerfulness, intelligence, prudence and endurance;
— the index finger is a person’s ambition, his determination;
— the middle finger indicates a person’s development, his desire to achieve goals, personal growth and potential for the future;
— the ring finger describes the ability to get along in society, sociability, acceptance of the basics of life and not the desire to obey the rules;
— the little finger represents all sorts of human experiences, all his fears and phobias, the inability to say “no.”
What do your toes say?
When there is any defect on the fingers, their meaning may change.
1. If there are bumps, bends or distortions, then such defects symbolize failures in the area for which this finger is responsible.
2. A finger slightly longer than the others indicates that a certain characteristic dominates a person’s life.
3. If there are fused fingers, then this indicates a fusion of some life characteristics.
4. If the finger is curved, then this indicates that the time has come for serious changes in this area.
5. A lump or growth at the base of the thumb indicates that a person can be easily manipulated, he does not have his own opinion and obeys the will of others.
6. If the little finger is hidden behind the ring finger, then the person does not feel protected and plays it safe in everything.
7. Thick toes on the right foot speak of kindness and warmth, openness and honesty. On the left leg, this means that the person is often offended by the world and people around him, secretive, and a pessimist in life.
8. A short and plump little finger speaks of an irresponsible nature. Usually such a person is cheerful and witty, but does not want to grow up and remains a small child throughout his life.
9. If your fingers fit tightly to each other, then you have a sensual and vulnerable nature.
10. If the fingers are scattered as if in a “fan”, such a person is practical and prudent, cold-blooded and cruel.
11. If the ends of the fingers, where the nail is, are slightly raised upward, it means that your interlocutor is a dreamer and a fan of daydreaming.
12. If each finger is slightly longer than the previous one, then your personality is correctly and harmoniously built. You are a responsible and organized person who does not like to quit before finishing something. In relationships, such people are faithful and devoted, and you couldn’t find a better employee.
Foot and character of a person
You can learn about a person’s character and abilities not only from individual toes, but also from the entire foot.
1. Long and narrow foot - this person is an esthete and loves to be surrounded by good and expensive interior items. Everything around him must be impeccable. He prefers peace and comfort, but does not want to overwork himself. Such a person will never save on himself.
2. Wide foot - a person does not like to sit idle, he finds true pleasure in his favorite work. This is a tireless workaholic who does not want to make any stops or breaks.
3. High instep - the higher the instep, the more ambitious and independent the person is. At first it may seem that such a person is uncommunicative, but this is not entirely true. This is ordinary pride and a consequence of his internal independence. Such people are their own bosses and friends.
4. A low rise indicates a person’s openness, the ability to properly integrate into society, and easily establish contacts with the outside world.
As you can see, there are no special secrets here. The main thing is to be attentive and remember these tips. In fact, “unraveling” a person will not be difficult!
We read our feet. What your feet tell you
There is probably no other part of the human body that is as familiar to us as our palms. Hands are always before our eyes, and over a long period of their existence people have been able to study their structure, shape and color well, establishing connections between these features and a person’s character. So, several thousand years ago, palmistry appeared - the occult science of fortune telling. By the appearance of the hand, capillary and flexor lines, the skin texture of the palms and the hills on them, palmists can judge a person’s character traits, his individual characteristics, experienced events and future fate.
Our palms carry a lot of information about us on their surface, and everyone can easily decipher it. But this is far from the only source of knowledge about our life path. In addition, the information “contained” in the palm of our hands is far from complete. Our body is fraught with a lot of other amazing information about us, and a considerable part of it can be provided to us by our... legs, or rather, our feet.
The soles of our feet are always facing down; we almost never see them and therefore do not pay any attention to them. For several thousand years now, shoes have been invented that further hide the soles from our close attention. Meanwhile, the feet are a very interesting part of our body. It turns out that from them, just like from the palms, you can determine a person’s character and even look into his future, just take a good look at his foot, toes, and skin pattern on the sole. Is there any way to explain this?
No one will deny that there is a close connection between our body (including our arms and legs) and our inner world. We are also inextricably linked with the world around us, which we look at through the eyes of a traveler walking along the difficult, thorny road of life. Our feet become rough and acquire characteristic features not only as a result of many years of walking on a hard surface. The land we walk on... The road of life we walk from beginning to end... All this leaves an indelible imprint on our soles, just as the signs of fate are imprinted on our palms.
The foot takes on all the vicissitudes of our life. All our habits, griefs, mistakes are necessarily imprinted on it in the form of skin folds and lines, calluses, flat feet, etc. Scientists believe that the condition of our feet can tell a lot about the life, health, mood and habits of each of us.
This book contains a lot of not only interesting, but also useful information from the field of pedomancy - the art of “reading” the foot. You will learn how and why our feet differ, what the lines of the foot indicate. What can you learn about a person's character from the shape of his fingers and footprints? Examining your feet will help you recognize hidden or confirm obvious health problems. But that is not all. The book contains valuable recommendations for treating feet, and this includes not only the most effective methods of traditional medicine, but also advice from psychologists, thanks to which you can identify and eliminate the psycho-emotional causes of your problems.
Read our book, study your body and be happy and healthy!
What our feet can tell you
HOW THE FOOT IS STRUCTURED
The human foot is the lowest part of the leg. The part of the foot that is in direct contact with the ground is called the foot (or sole). The human foot consists of 26 bones and has three bony support points. Two of them are in the forefoot and one in the hindfoot. The forefoot, which includes five toes, is called the toe, and the back part is called the heel. When walking, the heel comes into contact with the ground first, followed by the side of the foot, the ball of the foot, and the big toe. The correctness of our gait and the performance of the joints of the foot largely depend on the condition of the foot. Moreover, the appearance, size, color, and type of foot determine many aspects of a person’s physical and emotional state.
Unlike the palms, which can be examined quickly and easily, examining the feet is somewhat difficult and time consuming. Before examining our foot, we need to do several manipulations: sit down, take off our shoes and, pulling our foot towards us with our hand, turn it with our foot up. Moreover, not everyone will be able to do this right away, and if they do, they will still have to look at their foot from a certain angle. And this already somewhat distorts the picture of perception. Turning your foot up so that it is parallel to the ground will only become possible after long training and stretching of the muscles. However, there is a much easier and more pleasant way to examine your own foot - just use a mirror.
Tie your feet to your head
It would seem, what could be common between the feet and the hemispheres of the brain? Yet such a connection exists, and it is very strong. Scientists have long proven that in different people one of the cerebral hemispheres can be more developed than the other, which leads to differences in their development and behavior. People with a more developed right hemisphere have pronounced creative abilities, they have well-developed intuition, they understand classical music better, easily abstract from specifics, are capable of associative thinking, and remember longer a variety of impressions from what they saw or heard.
People with a more developed left hemisphere have stronger concrete thinking, logic, numeracy, and language abilities. Such people perceive rhythmic music better, their associations are quite specific, since it is generally not easy for them to generalize concepts.
Right foot, left foot
In relation to the feet, the concepts of “right-sided” and “left-sided” are also appropriate, although the properties of the right and left hemispheres transfer to the feet and the rest of the body in the opposite way. This occurs because the nerve ganglia in the head intersect in a special way. For example, if a person is pricked on the right side of the body, pain may occur on the left side of the head, and vice versa.
The right foot relates to the masculine aspects of existence, and it also determines our relationships with men, including our father. By the right foot you can learn about events related to the past. The left foot is associated with the feminine principle, relationships with women, including the mother. From it you can judge the present, what is happening in a person’s life at the moment. On the left foot, what we would like to hide from others can also appear more clearly.
Size matters too
By the size of the feet, or rather, by the degree of difference in the size of one foot from another, you can learn a lot about a person. If, for example, the right foot is smaller than the left, this may indicate inhibition or even suppression of masculine character traits, especially in the past. If your right foot is larger than your left, you may be currently trying to limit the manifestations of your feminine side. Feet that vary greatly in size may indicate that their owner has an imbalance or even a complete lack of balance between the feminine and masculine principles.
Presumably the reason for this discrepancy is a hormonal imbalance, which manifests itself in the baby even before it is born. At first glance, such an assumption may seem absurd. However, if the right and left hemispheres of the brain are developed differently in different people, then differences in the size of the feet, which are directly related to the brain, should not seem unusual.
People with large differences in foot size may suffer from bouts of unreasonable jealousy. They do not trust manifestations of the opposite principle and will strive for dominance and control from that part of their nature that is responsible for the larger foot.
Having found out which of the feet is larger, we can say which of the principles predominates in a person. In modern people, there is a tendency towards greater development and increase in size of the right part of the body, including the chest, arms, legs and, of course, feet. And there is nothing strange in this, because in modern society the masculine principle dominates. Modern people would rather achieve their goal than accept or agree with what fate presents to them. Differences between masculine and feminine principles can also manifest themselves in a person’s relationships with others.
You can tell about a person’s character not only by the difference in the size of the feet, but also by the size of the feet itself, which is almost independent of the person’s height. There are both tall people with small feet, and short people with large ones.
People with disproportionately small feet walk through life carefree, they are less demanding and ambitious, although they can influence others. People with disproportionately large feet, on the contrary, do everything thoroughly; it is important for them to leave a mark in life. By the imprint of feet in the sand one can judge the influence that a person has on others. The smaller the imprint, the softer and more dynamic the influence, and vice versa, the larger it is, the greater the pressure on others.
What color are they?
The color of the skin of the feet is also an important component of our knowledge about a person. It is never constant and can change depending on the situation. There are no strong differences in color between the feet and other parts of the body, but minor differences are still observed. The ability to notice these differences can provide a deeper understanding of the life situation in which we, our loved ones or our friends find ourselves.
Very pale feet indicate that a person is tired, exhausted and almost devoid of vitality. In this case, rest is urgently needed, not only physical, but also emotional. You can, for example, lie down, raise your feet up and imagine yourself surrounded by roses that smell wonderful. When you feel rested, try getting up and pampering yourself with something.
The feet turn red if a person finds himself in a situation that irritates him in some way. For example, redness in the heel area is associated with social, family or business problems. If you find yourself in such a situation, you should under no circumstances isolate yourself from others, accumulating negative emotions within yourself. People are often afraid to show their feelings to others for fear of causing misunderstanding or irritation, but then these unexpressed feelings can turn against them. It is better to get rid of your anger while it is small, without waiting for it to grow. Suppressing anger in the soul has the same negative effect as the feeling of dissatisfaction that constantly irritates us. One day you may simply explode, like an overheated steam boiler, and for a completely trivial reason. To prevent this, try to calmly analyze the situation. By finding the true source of irritation, you will thereby protect yourself from a volcanic eruption of emotions.
The bluish color of the skin of the feet appears when a person is tired of the pain and suffering that life brings him. It seems to him that life mercilessly beats and breaks him and nothing good will ever happen again. In such a situation, rest is urgently needed. If the situation does not change after this, you need to think about how to change the situation and put an end to the suffering.
Complete or partial yellowing of the foot indicates that a person has come to the very edge in some life situation or in relationships with other people. If absolutely the entire foot turns yellow, this is a signal that he is too tired of life. The appearance of yellowness on calluses indicates that a person is creating too many obstacles to expressing his feelings. You can get rid of this by simply talking about the reasons for your disappointments.
More than five
It wouldn’t be out of place to talk about six-toed feet, which are by no means uncommon. According to statistics, 40% of people have six toes on their feet. Among men, the number of people with six toes is up to 60%, and among women - up to 30%. We may simply not be aware of this, because other people’s feet are almost always covered with shoes. But even if a person is barefoot, we, as a rule, simply do not pay attention to his toes.
Six-toed feet sometimes serve as a kind of sign of a person’s originality and talent: the owners of such feet, for example, were Napoleon, L.N. Tolstoy, I.V. Gogol. However, in the Middle Ages, people with six-toed feet were persecuted and even burned at the stake. Nowadays, this pathology is treated surgically.
Human feet can vary in size, shape, width and other parameters. But, despite all their diversity, each pair of feet can be conditionally classified into one of five main types, each of which is characteristic of people with certain character traits. The characteristics of each type are based primarily on the length of the fingers.
If you count from the largest toe (first) to the smallest (fifth), you can describe the feet as follows.
The Greek foot type is characterized by a short first toe and a longer second, followed by the remaining three toes in descending order of length. This type of foot is also characterized by a significant, compared to others, distance between the first and second toes. The width of Greek feet can vary from narrow to medium. Up to 20% of people have this type of foot.
People with Greek feet have a strong need to lead others. They are able to inspire others with their ideas and motivate them to action with their actions. Such people are more theorists than practitioners, although one does not exclude the other.
Rice. 1. Greek foot
The Egyptian foot type is characterized by a long first toe and decreasing lengths of the remaining four toes. The width of the feet varies in the same range as the Greek type feet. People with Egyptian-type feet are often dreamers and dreamers; they are driven by great ideas. It is believed that they are prone to a passive life position. If, in addition, the big toes of their feet protrude somewhat, they have great difficulty enduring criticism from others. If the heels of the Egyptian feet are smaller in size than the large balls of the feet, such a person is likely to have to struggle to implement his ideas, while facing great financial difficulties.
Rice. 2. Egyptian foot
Scotch-Irish type feet have relatively long toes of almost equal length. People with this type of foot are sensitive and caring, easy-going and, although sometimes very conservative, can still struggle to expand the boundaries of their life.
Rice. 3. Scots-Irish foot
The feet of the modern English type are somewhat wider than those of the Scots-Irish type, and their toes are sharply sloping. People with this type of foot are quite mundane, do not particularly strive to develop their spiritual or creative potential, and have a stable character. In their actions, such people would rather withdraw than do anything wrong.
Rice. 4. Modern English type foot
Peasant-type feet usually have three inner toes of the same length, with all the toes being rather short and sort of square. The width of this type of feet can vary from medium to wide. People with a peasant foot type are reliable and hardworking, stand firmly on their feet and are well prepared for life. They are much closer to today's problems than to the distant and unknown future.

THE ART OF “READING” THE FOOT
The art of “reading” the foot, or pedomancy, lies in the same area of human knowledge as palmistry (hand reading), which has been very popular at all times.
People have guessed for a very long time that there really is “truth” in the legs. The ancient Slavs, for example, believed that immediately after birth, a person’s entire life path begins to be reflected on a person’s feet. Midwives, following in the footsteps of a newborn child, predicted whether the newborn baby would live or whether he would soon leave this world.
Some eastern healers and magicians, traditionally adhering to earthly magic, argued that the third eye of a person is located precisely on the feet and with its help even those who are unable to see the world around them can navigate in the surrounding space. Thus, prepared by the experience of thousands of years, duplicated by ancient palmistry, the art of deciphering the language of the feet entered the 21st century.
Modern pedomancy is a parascientific practice of studying the human personality, carried out according to the lines of the feet and the shape of the toes. By carefully studying a person’s foot, a fortuneteller can not only tell about his character, but even predict his future. This interesting practice is based on the idea that the feet of each of us reflect certain events, both negative and positive, that befall us. In addition, all sorts of our habits and inclinations are necessarily “imprinted” on our soles, manifesting themselves, for example, in changes in the shape of the fingers, flat feet, and the appearance of various lines and calluses.
The effectiveness of such “fortune telling” largely depends on the age of the subject: the older the person, the more difficult it is to “get to the point,” since with age it becomes more and more difficult to recognize the lines on the feet.
The methods and techniques of pedomancy are in many ways similar to those in palmistry. In particular, our toes correspond to the planets and zodiac signs in the same way as the fingers, and the lines on the feet, accordingly, are read in the same way as the lines on the hands.
WHAT DO THE FOOT LINES TELL US?
There are 12 main lines on each of the feet.
“Shells” and “curls” on the skin of the feet are considered lucky signs only if they are located on the right foot: this indicates the favorable position of the corresponding planets. The same lines on the left leg are considered an unfavorable sign.
Clear lines on the soles and auspicious signs such as “temple”, “pisces”, etc., indicate happiness, contentment with life and wealth of a person. If any of the lines of the foot extending from the heel ends at the big toe, then this person lives in comfort and wealth.
If the lines are broken and there are no clearly defined signs on the feet, then, depending on their location, pedomancers can predict a rather joyless existence for a person.
For clarity, consider an image of a foot on which the “lines of fate” are schematically indicated.
Rice. 6. Numbering of lines on the human foot
Line 1, or the life line, is analogous to the life line on the hand; it symbolizes longevity and life. Almost everyone has this line on their feet. Positioned vertically, it goes from the center to the first or second fingers. The length and severity of this line is used to judge a person’s vitality.
Line 2, or the line of the mind, runs parallel to line 1, but unlike it, it connects the center of the foot with the little toe or ring finger. It reflects the intelligence and resourcefulness of a person. It is believed that the length of this line is directly related to the development of his mental abilities. Line 2 is also present on the feet of almost all of us, but it is less clearly expressed than the life line.
Line 3, or the heart line, is parallel to the toes and symbolizes strength of feeling and emotionality. Refers to the main lines of the foot.
A straight line of the heart indicates a calm and balanced character of a person’s personality, a curve indicates his coldness. A branched line indicates heartlessness, indifference and even deceit.
Line 4, or the line of Venus, runs close to the thumb in places where calluses or corns often form, and therefore is poorly visible or not visible at all on rough areas of the skin. This line is responsible for sociability and sociability. The clearer it is, the better these two qualities are developed in a person.
Line 5, or the Jupiter line, runs vertically, parallel to the outer part of the foot, and is located closer to the heel. This clearly running line speaks of a person’s desire for power, his intentions to lead and command.
Line 6, or the Saturn line, runs exactly down the center of the foot, below the life line. She shows the ability to overcome difficult situations with honor. Often both these lines intersect. The Saturn line testifies to the resilience and vitality of its owner, and the more clearly it is expressed, the stronger the person’s ability to survive.
Line 7, or the line of the Sun, runs along the left edge of the foot from the heel to the middle and is more common among creative people. The clearer the line, the more talented the person.
Line 8, or the Mercury line, is often an extension of the Sun line. It is directed from the middle of the foot to the toes and shows a person’s entrepreneurial abilities, his predisposition to doing business.
Line 9, or the line of Mars, runs across the foot from the edge to the middle, intersecting lines 7 and 8. This line is V-shaped and indicates the will to win. The more clearly it is expressed, the more strongly a person’s willpower is expressed. For women, a clearly cut line means dominance in the family, the ability to keep a husband “under his thumb.”
Not everyone has a Mars line.
Line 10, or the line of the Moon, is directed along the heel and occurs only in avid travelers and dreamy people with a wide flight of imagination.
Line 11 runs at the base of the thumb and shows the superiority of emotions over rationalism or the heart over the mind.
Line 12 is located next to the fifth finger and indicates insight, economy and frugality. In pedantic and greedy people it is pronounced. A weakly expressed line indicates a tendency towards extravagance.
TOES
Each of the toes is responsible for certain traits of the human personality. Pedomants judge a person’s character and abilities mainly by the appearance of their fingertips. For convenience of research, the sequential numbering of fingers shown in Fig. 7.
Rice. 7. Traditional finger numbering
The first finger, or Venus finger, symbolizes emotionality and sensuality. These features directly depend on the size of the pad of this finger: the more convex it is, the more emotional and sensitive the person is.
The second finger, or Jupiter finger, shows how honest a person is. The greater the convexity of the pad, the more scrupulous he is about matters of honor.
The third finger, or the finger of Saturn, symbolizes will. By the size of the pad one can judge the rigidity of character and great willpower or, on the contrary, cowardice and lack of will.
The fourth finger, or the finger of the Sun, symbolizes prosperity. The sun is a symbol of gold, so the size of the pad of this finger is proportional to the wealth of a person.
The fifth finger, or Mercury finger, shows how smart a person is and is able to solve various life problems.
OUR FOOTPRINTS
It is no coincidence that human life is compared to a road or path. By analogy with physical movement in space, our life path also has long transitions and stops, obstacles and breaks. As we live our lives, we leave spiritual traces by which we can judge the fruits of our existence. From the physical footprints, a knowledgeable person can tell a lot about who passed here, just as an experienced hunter, looking at the footprint of an animal on damp sand, can tell a lot about its character and even its mood.
Size and depth of trace
For example, looking at various footprints in the sand, you will notice that some of them are very heavy, deep and clear, while others are light and barely noticeable. Heavy traces are usually left by people with extensive life experience, bearing the burden of life's problems. On the other hand, deep and clear traces can reveal a very respectable person who loves to win victories over other people and stay on top in any situation.
Light traces indicate dreaminess, a cheerful and easy disposition, or the enlightened nature of the person who left them.
Large footprints most often belong to a person who is capable of making a great impression on others. Small traces indicate that, despite the possible serious achievements of its owner, he is not able to make a significant contribution to the development of events.
It is also important which parts of the feet are imprinted deeper than others.
If the pad of the print is barely visible, and the heel area is pressed quite deeply into the sand, then it is very likely that the person who left the mark has religious problems associated with members of his family or the religious community to which he belongs.
If the foot print is flat, this indicates that the person is firmly on his feet or, at least, has a great desire to gain a stronger foothold in life. If the edges of the feet are imprinted deeper, then perhaps he has an internal need to constantly control the situation.
If the ball of the foot is imprinted deeper, this person may be suffering from heart problems that have weighed heavily on him. Moreover, the same problems can look different on different feet. For example, a clearer imprint of the right foot indicates problems in the past associated with the masculine principle, and, conversely, a more pronounced imprint of the left foot indicates problems in the present related to the feminine.
If the toes are more clearly visible on the footprints, this means that the footprints were left by a thinker or someone who wants his ideas and thoughts to make an impression on others.
Sometimes on the prints of some feet you can see the big toe slightly extended forward. This is evidence of a person's approach to the divine or a sign that he is purposefully moving forward, promoting new concepts, ideas and plans.
If the prints of both feet are turned inward, then perhaps such a person is afraid to look for a way out of the situation in which he finds himself. When the prints of both feet look clearly turned outward, then this person is probably very strongly attached to his family or to the community to which he belongs. Or maybe he just wants to attract the attention of his family members.
If only one of the foot prints is turned outward, say the right one, this indicates that the person lives in the past or is strongly attached to it. The left foot print turned outward indicates a tendency to run far ahead in one’s life, that is, to live in hope for the future.
Degree of foot contamination
Speaking about foot prints, one cannot ignore such an interesting question as the dependence of the degree of contamination of the feet on the emotional state of their owner. It would seem that after several people walk barefoot in the same place, their feet should get equally dirty, but this is not at all the case. Different people will have different amounts of dirt on their soles, meaning one person's feet will be much cleaner than another's.
Is this a coincidence? No, there are simply people with increased susceptibility who can literally attract all sorts of problems to themselves. Their heavily soiled feet indicate just that. But people with clean feet are usually calm, balanced, and very pleasant to talk to. True, they are not particularly sensitive to what is happening around them, which can cause discontent and irritation of their loved ones.
PROJECTIONS OF INTERNAL ORGANS ON THE FEET
On the surface of the foot you can find points corresponding to almost all the main organs, glands and limbs of a person. The organs are projected onto the feet, onto the male and female sides, just as they are located in our body.
Each of the organs, in addition to performing purely physiological functions, is responsible for the spiritual and emotional state of a person. For example, the spleen is considered to be the seat of grumpiness and anger, that is, traits that for some reason are traditionally attributed to women.
Although the heart area is located on both feet, its projection is more pronounced on the left foot, which confirms that emotions are more related to the feminine principle in a person. The liver is projected onto both feet, but the projection area on the right foot is larger than on the left. By the way, the liver has long been associated with purely masculine qualities: anger, raw emotions, and a fighting spirit.
Both the physical and spiritual health of a person depends on the condition of each organ. For example, a healthy spleen cleanses the blood of moral impurity, allowing a person to show more compassion and empathy, and lead a righteous lifestyle. The liver, on the contrary, will be out of order if a person begins to suppress such a strong emotion as anger.
All of the above fully applies to other organs. Therefore, for a person to be healthy both physically and spiritually, each of his organs must be in order. And it is not at all necessary to treat the organ itself directly. A method of treatment has long been invented by influencing points located on the feet and which are projections of organs. This is foot massage and acupuncture.
The figures show only the points responsible for the main organs. In fact, there are many times more of them. According to some data, about 15 thousand biologically active points are concentrated on human feet. In addition to the points of the main organs, there are points responsible for general well-being, stomach function, mood, good sleep, and even tobacco addiction.

CHAKRA PROJECTIONS ON THE FEET
Chakra is the energy “wheel” of our body
In addition to the internal organs of a person, chakras - subtle energy centers located in places of nerve plexuses.
The word chakra means “wheel” in Sanskrit. There are seven main chakras in the human subtle body, each of which corresponds to a specific stage of development. Each chakra is responsible for the revelation of certain spiritual qualities in a person, which in most people are dormant. A person’s energy potential depends on the state of the chakras.
Each chakra has its own name and specific location on the human body.
The first chakra (Muladhara) is located at the base of the spine on its outer side.
The second chakra (Svadisthan) is located at the level of the appendix (a palm's width below the navel).
The third chakra (Nabi, or Manipura) is located at the site of the solar plexus.
The fourth chakra (Anahata) is located at the level of the heart.
The fifth chakra (Vishuddi) is located at the level of the jugular cavity at the base of the neck.
The sixth chakra (Agya) is located at the level of the middle of the forehead at the place where the optic nerves intersect.
The seventh chakra (Sahasrara) is located at the top of the head, in the crown area.
Visually, the chakras are represented by seven color funnels, the colors of which correspond to the seven colors of the rainbow. In addition, each color corresponds to a certain frequency of energetic vibrations. For example, the red chakra is the first chakra, and the violet chakra is the seventh chakra. Accordingly, the first chakra has the lowest vibration frequency, and the seventh has the highest. The numbers of other chakras located between them completely coincide with the colors of the rainbow.
Chakras on the feet
As mentioned above, all seven chakras are projected onto the feet, dividing them into seven conventional zones. For convenience, we will further talk about the location of the chakras on the feet (Fig. 10). These chakras maintain a person's connection with the Earth and are responsible for problems in a specific part of the human body.
Rice. 10. Projections of the main chakras on the feet
As you can see, the first chakra is located on the heel, the second - at the bottom of the instep, the third - at the top of the instep, the fourth - on the big ball of the foot, the fifth - on the neck of the toes, the sixth - on the bottom of the toes, the seventh - on the top parts of the fingertips.
In addition to the seven chakras located across the foot (horizontally), there are seven more chakras located longitudinally, that is, running from the heel to the toes (vertical). The diagram of their location and intersection with the horizontal chakras is shown in Fig. 11. Vertical chakras are secondary to horizontal ones.
Now that we have found out the location of the chakras on the feet, we will agree on a certain numbering of the toes, which will be used only in the current section (“Projections of the chakras on the feet”). We will need this numbering to match the finger number with the chakra number, as shown in Fig. eleven.
Rice. 11. The location of the chakras on the foot horizontally and vertically
As can be seen from Fig. 11, the first five chakras of the feet are located on the fingers, so each finger contains not only the fifth, sixth or seventh chakras, but also any of the first five horizontal chakras. Thus, all fingers are connected with the fifth, sixth and seventh horizontal chakras, but each individually only with certain vertical chakras. However, this does not mean at all that the chakras have influence only in the area of their location and are not connected with each other. There is a close relationship between all the chakras of one foot. For example, when problems arise in the area of the first chakra, this necessarily affects the chakras adjacent to it, just as a person who has injured his heel experiences pain throughout his entire foot.
Now let's look at what parts of the body each of the seven chakras on the feet is responsible for, their connections with the physical body of a person and his spiritual world.
First chakra. Sense of self-preservation
The first chakra is located on the heel and first toe (Fig. 12). It influences a person’s relationships with representatives of various groups to which he may belong. For example, with family members, work colleagues, people of the same race, etc.
The color of the chakra is red, the element is Earth.
Emotional manifestations of the first chakra include anger, a sense of threat, or a feeling of physical fear. The location of the first chakra on the heels of both feet determines a person’s connection with the Earth and a sense of stability.
Rice. 12. First chakra
The shape of the heel can be used to judge how strong family ties are for a person. People with very narrow or small heels can be described as sophisticated, impractical, and with their head in the clouds. People with wide heels, on the contrary, have a realistic outlook on life. For them, personal safety, the safety of their family and their home come first. If the heel is too wide, the person may lack a sense of security and a sense of stability in life.
The right heel is responsible for the past, and from it one can judge how unstable a person’s family was, whether he was given enough attention in childhood. If the position has not changed over time, similar symptoms may occur on the left heel, which is responsible for the present. In addition, this person is significantly susceptible to fear or anger due to threats to personal safety, and financial problems are also possible.
If the heels protrude beyond the foot (Fig. 13), this indicates that the person is overly worried about his future, he is seriously concerned about the issue of preserving his family and procreation. Any changes seem too difficult for such people, and, trying to distance them, they begin to drag their feet. As a result, the skin on the heels often becomes rough and hardened, and calluses may appear on it. This is a sure sign that a person wants to protect himself from external stimuli and protect himself from problems at work or in the family. Fear of life's difficulties and the associated emotional pain makes him vulnerable.
Rice. 13. Foot with a protruding heel
It happens that even people with small and narrow feet complain of unusual heaviness in their legs. This indicates that the burden of life is pulling them down, making them “barely drag their feet.” Feeling of heaviness in the legs can also be caused by depression.
It also happens that a person, lifting his feet off the ground, does not feel their weight. A feeling of such extraordinary lightness is experienced by enlightened people, those who do not consider their life a heavy burden and are looking for ways to solve physical or emotional problems, focusing on intellectual realities.
To summarize the story about the first chakra of the feet, we can say the following. You can tell a lot about a person by the appearance of their heels. Does he stand firmly on his feet in this life or does he drag out a miserable existence? Are you strongly attached to the land where you took root, or are you inclined to periodically seek happiness in a foreign land? Heels can also tell you whether their owner is prone to losing his temper easily over a given situation, or whether he often experiences irritation towards other people.
Second chakra. Relationships with people
The second chakra is located at the beginning of the instep, just above the heel and on the second toe (Fig. 14). It is responsible for our ability to influence others, such as children, spouses, and work colleagues.
The color of the chakra is orange, the element is Water.
The emotional manifestation of the second chakra is guilt.
By the location of the second chakra, you can find out whether a person is a supporter of establishing very strict boundaries or they do not exist for him at all, whether he easily perceives change or is conservative in relation to the past, whether he needs constant control of the situation or is prone to manipulating people.
Rice. 14. Second chakra
the intestinal projection in the area of the second chakra indicates that this chakra is responsible for the process of digestion and removal of undigested food and toxins from the body. Violation of these processes leads to the emergence of emotional problems, which are characterized by a “steam boiler” state: if you do not allow emotions to come out, you get the feeling that you are about to explode. In the area of the second chakra there is also a projection of another important internal human organ - the kidneys (Fig. 15). By the appearance of the projections of the kidneys on the feet, one can judge the emotional state of a person. If the kidney areas have a sunken shape, this indicates emotional exhaustion; swelling, on the contrary, indicates an excessive accumulation of emotions that need to be thrown out. Indeed, the kidneys are involved in removing toxins from the body along with fluid, and water has always been a symbol of emotions.
Rice. 15. Place of projection of the kidneys on the feet
Deep horizontal wrinkles or folds in the area of the second chakra indicate possible difficulties in relationships with other people, including sexual ones. Pronounced deep wrinkles on the outer edges of this area of the foot suggest a decrease in psychological adaptability to changing environmental demands and a need for control.
The second chakra is also responsible for the feeling of support from others and a sense of financial security. It is curious that it shares this responsibility with the third chakra, although this is not surprising: as mentioned above, there is a close relationship between all chakras. Let us give an example of such a relationship.
The feeling of instability, for which the first chakra is responsible, affects the feeling of financial well-being, for which the second chakra is responsible. And all this, in turn, is associated with self-esteem, for the degree of which the third chakra is responsible.
Third chakra. Self-esteem
The third chakra is located on the top of the instep, just below the ball of the foot, and on the third toe (Figure 16). It influences the person himself.
The color of the chakra is yellow, the element is Fire.
Emotional manifestations of the third chakra are suppressed anger, resentment associated with self-esteem, shame, problems in the master/victim relationship.
Rice. 16. Third chakra
is projected onto the area of the third chakra of the feet , and most of this projection falls on the right (male) side (Fig. 17).
Rice. 17. Projection of the liver on the feet
The third chakra, like the first, is responsible for emotions such as anger or anger. But if in the first chakra these emotions are associated with the instinct of self-preservation, then in the third – with self-esteem. For example, if you encounter a poisonous snake in the forest, you kill it or flee. In this case, the motives for your behavior are associated with the first chakra. You can imagine another situation. You are walking down the street in new or highly polished shoes, and suddenly some passer-by steps on your foot with his dirty boot. It is possible that you will feel anger or even burning rage, in the impulse of which you will be ready to literally attack the offender. This kind of emotion is associated precisely with the third chakra.
You know that the use of fire is part of the ritual in almost every religion. Candle flames or incense fires are considered cleansing. Fire, which can transform energy, can have a transformative effect on humans. The fiery energy of the third chakra contributes to the symbolic rebirth of the personality, just as it does with the phoenix bird. Thanks to purification by fire, a transition to a new life occurs. You begin to live by listening to your heart, your love for people becomes absolutely selfless and open.
As you can see, in many cases, anger associated with the third chakra can be beneficial, pushing a person towards positive change. However, fire can also burn. This happens, for example, if you are forced to silently endure an insult, although everything is boiling in your soul. If such situations occur frequently, this will certainly affect the condition of the gallbladder, which over time can lead to gallstone disease. To avoid this, you should allow yourself to “let off steam” from time to time by getting rid of negative emotions.
Lack of balance in the third chakra is expressed either in excessive passivity or in excessive activity of a person. Energy changes can occur in this chakra from its maximum to its minimum. By exercising a high level of self-discipline, we can insist that our actions are absolutely correct. Or, completely loose in terms of discipline, they are quite capable of forcing themselves to complete the work they have begun.
We can show a completely explosive temperament or show no emotions at all, are capable of active struggle, or force ourselves to come to terms with the situation. In the latter case, various kinds of complications associated with the outflow of bile or increased acidity of gastric juice are possible.
Fourth chakra. Heart problems The fourth chakra is located on the ball of the foot and on the fourth toe (Fig. 18). It connects a person with those whom he loves selflessly.
Rice. 18. Fourth chakra
The color of the chakra is green, the element is Air.
The emotional manifestations of the fourth chakra are sadness or love. The heart is projected onto the area of the fourth chakra of the feet.
By the appearance of the pads on the feet, one can determine the emotional state of a person. Convex pads, as if “swollen” from accumulated emotions, indicate the presence of many unresolved problems. Outwardly, such a person may look arrogant; sometimes it seems that he is characterized by narcissism. However, in reality, behind all this lies a complete lack of self-esteem or fear of rejection. The convex pads of the feet, as well as the protruding chest, are a sign of a huge amount of unexpressed emotions.
Shriveled pads of the feet indicate a lack of vitality and an inability to experience strong feelings. Such a person’s shoulders are often drooping and his chest looks sunken. This happens if we are unable to give love to those around us or are afraid to seek love. Instead of forgiving those we believe are responsible for our problems, including ourselves, we live on past grievances.
dividing line running down the ball of the foot from the fourth toe which is sometimes called the “broken heart” line (Fig. 19). The presence of such a line indicates a serious break in a person’s life or that he was once forced to live away from home. Sometimes this is a sign of being forced to lead a double life, which causes the heart to “break.”
Rice. 19. Dividing line on the heart chakra
If hardening or thickening of the skin is observed in the area of the heart or along the dividing line on the ball of the foot, this is a sign that life circumstances are forcing the person to build a wall to protect his heart (Fig. 20).
Rice. 20. Hardening of the skin in the area of the projection of the heart
Quite often, deep pits can be seen on people’s feet in the area of the projection of the heart - evidence that life has presented them with difficult trials. If such pits are located on the left foot, then they are related to the present time and relate only to “women’s” problems. The pits on the right foot indicate past life troubles and are related to men or “male” problems.
Along with pits on the feet, blue-black hemorrhages may appear, which indicates deep internal experiences, as well as the fact that a person is having a bad time not only emotionally, but also physically.
Finishing the conversation about the fourth chakra, let us mention those curious cases when the fourth finger takes on a funnel-shaped shape (Fig. 21). People with this form of the fourth finger have quite a great ability to transmit information coming to people through the channels of universal communication.
Rice. 21. Funnel-shaped fourth finger Fifth chakra. Self-expression
The fifth chakra is located on the necks of the toes and on the fifth toe (Fig. 22). She is responsible for the feeling of compassion for literally all living beings.
The color of the chakra is turquoise, the element is Earth. The emotional manifestations of the fifth chakra are truth, lies, or self-expression.
Rice. 22. Fifth chakra
The fifth chakra is a kind of center where a person’s creative potential lies and his feelings are voiced. It is to this chakra that people owe their magical abilities and the ability to create their own reality, if this does not contradict their karma.
The longer the necks of the toes, the higher the creative potential of a person, the better he is able to generate new original ideas. At the same time, it cannot be said unequivocally that people with short fingers do not have creative potential. The short length of the toes may indicate that a person’s abilities are more related to contemplating the world than to comprehending it.
If the toes curl down and seem to cling to the ground, this indicates that the person is not using his full potential. This applies not only to creative professions. This refers to a person’s ability to create anything at all. For example, he may miss the opportunity to become an excellent cook, hairdresser, manager, or simply develop himself as a person.
There are many reasons why a person does not use his potential. Among them are a reluctance to stand out from the crowd, fear of possible failure, fear of being drawn into an adventurous project, lack of self-confidence and, as a result, a feeling of the insignificance of one’s ideas.
Sixth chakra. Ego
The sixth chakra is located on the bottom of the fingertips (Fig. 23). It influences a person's inner ego.
The color of the chakra is blue (indigo), the element is Light. The emotional manifestations of the sixth chakra are insight or deception of the senses.
Rice. 23. Sixth chakra
The size of the balls of the toes is directly proportional to the level of intellectual activity of a person, his ability to generate ideas and create concepts. However, people with small pads have no less intellectual potential, it’s just much more difficult for them to realize it. As you can see, the size of the fingertips determines how successfully a person will be able to realize the abilities given to him by nature and use his achievements in the future. Teardrop-shaped toe pads are often seen in people suffering from sinusitis (Figure 24). This is a sure sign that either you yourself or the people around you are preventing the implementation of your ideas. It is not surprising that you are often unhappy with yourself and irritable, as if duplicating the reaction of your inflamed and clogged sinuses.
Rice. 24. On the left is a regular finger; on the right – a finger with a teardrop-shaped pad
Restraint of emotions is also indicated by an excess amount of fluid in the body, accompanied by painful sensations and a state of despondency. This is due to the fact that a person cannot find the true cause of his emotions and eliminate it. Seventh chakra. Secret knowledge
The seventh chakra is located at the tips of the fingertips (Fig. 25).
The color of the chakra is purple or white, the element is Thought. The emotional manifestations of the seventh chakra are devotion and enlightenment.
Rice. 25. Seventh chakra
The seventh chakra is the channel through which a person receives divine signs or thoughts.
People whose fingertips are shaped like a funnel are most likely to acquire cosmic knowledge. However, if your fingers look ordinary, do not be upset: your feet can change. If you learn to use the thoughts and ideas that come into your head, you have every chance of changing the shape of your fingertips and, accordingly, becoming an unusually receptive person.
The seventh chakra teaches us to push away unnecessary attachments, be they people, objects, ideas, beliefs or objects, as they limit our freedom.
People with a developed seventh chakra not only know themselves well, they gain true knowledge about everything that exists. However, not everyone is able to achieve this level of knowledge. Most people have to deal with the more mundane aspects of the seventh chakra: many of us, unfortunately, often accept beliefs that are alien to us, and also tend to succumb to intimidation and “zombification” from others.
As a defensive reaction to others' attempts to invalidate our ideas, the skin on the tips of our fingertips can harden. If we are simply bursting with unrealized ideas and dreams, our fingertips may look swollen. Flattened pillows are a sign that we have neither space nor time for solitude and reflection on our lives.
So, we have looked at all seven chakras in their projection onto our feet. Of course, this is far from complete information about the chakras as such. We can devote our entire lives to understanding them, and yet this will not guarantee that we will be able to come closer to a final understanding of their nature and properties.
To summarize the above, we can note the following. In the process of creation and development of the human personality, the chakras play a leading role. Our seven chakras represent a kind of divine ladder, standing at one end on the earth and the other resting on the heavens. Having begun to climb it, with each step we get closer to our integrity.
Each of the seven chakras is responsible for a certain part of the path of our ideas, from the moment of their birth in our consciousness (or our perception of divine thoughts) to the final moment of their physical embodiment. If you imagine the path of an idea through the chakras, you will get something like this.
An idea enters a person through the seventh chakra, its essence is revealed in the sixth chakra, and its expression begins in the fifth. The fourth chakra is where we realize how important this idea is to us. Having an idea in the third chakra forces us to think about the possibility of failure or success and what we need to do specifically to realize this idea. The second chakra will lead us to solving financial problems and creating relationships that contribute to the implementation of the idea. And finally, passing the area of the first chakra, our idea becomes ready for implementation.
Dependence of the psycho-emotional state on the appearance and condition of the feet
Human feet are constantly under enormous stress, so approximately 80% of people have some kind of problem with them. The condition of the foot is influenced by factors such as general health, degree of physical activity, profession, shoes and much, much more.
It was noticed a long time ago that the appearance of the feet and many of their diseases are directly related to certain of our feelings, emotions and even attitude towards life. For example, the yellowish color of the skin of the feet indicates severe fatigue, and a rough callus in the area of the fifth toe indicates that a person has shouldered an unbearable burden and too often takes responsibility upon himself. A strong emotion such as anger can show up in the big toes as redness.
In this section we will look in detail at various cases of this relationship. For greater clarity, we will use the traditional numbering of fingers (see Fig. 7).
WEMBED FINGERS
Let's look carefully at our foot and draw an imaginary line from the base of the neck of the fifth toe (little toe) to the base of the largest first toe. We will notice that all fingers are on the same line. If one or more interdigital connections continue above this conditional line, then we can confidently say that there is a membrane between the fingers.
Most often, the membranes are located between the second and third fingers. If these formations are very large and there is a need to separate the fingers, this can be done quite easily with the help of surgery.
Webbing between the toes is not just a physical pathology. This is evidence of the deep connection between the spheres that characterize the adjacent fingers. The presence of a membrane between the fingers seems to connect them into one whole, combining the properties of each of them. For example, the most common webbing between the second and third fingers indicates a close relationship between a person’s inner feelings, ideas and his heart problems. In life, such people are guided, as a rule, by their hearts, not their minds.
The webbing between the third and fourth fingers indicates a closer connection between a person and his heart. This can be judged by what he thinks about his love and how he expresses it. Usually such people are calm and balanced, they have a kind, loving heart, always ready for empathy. They are able to put themselves in the shoes of another person, and also accurately determine the emotional state of the interlocutor by his reactions, actions, gestures, and facial expressions.
People with webbing between the third and fourth toes are often creative, intuitive, flexible, and lacking in self-importance. What they know about themselves suits them completely. These people are capable of both imaginative and abstract thinking, are able to clearly express their needs and often represent an example of spiritual wisdom.
According to statistics, recently quite a lot of children are born in the world with webbed toes. There are especially many of them among the so-called indigo children, who are very physically strong and have great spiritual potential. In such children, webbing is observed not only between the third and fourth fingers, but sometimes also between the third and second. Such children are not easy to raise because of their hyperactivity, willfulness, and wisdom, which is not characteristic of other children of the same age.
It is worth noting the importance of the relationship between the inner essence and the heart of a person. If this connection is absent, we cease to feel a sense of compassion not only for the people around us, but even for ourselves. Believing in our own exclusivity, we strive to rise above others, do not submit to discipline or certain rules, are not inclined to recognize the authority of others, and refuse to perform tasks that do not meet our immediate desires. Such people do not know limits, their needs are limitless, quite often they feel like outcasts among people and are lonely. These are either completely unemotional people, or, on the contrary, too emotional and sensitive.
Hammer-shaped toes occur as a result of excessive tension in the ligaments and tendons. The fingers seem to squeeze at the middle joint, and then bend down. This can happen to all fingers except the thumb. Downward-curved toes often feel uncomfortable because the top part of the toe protrudes and rubs against shoes, causing calluses and rough patches of skin to form on the toes.
Hammer toes can be either stiff or flexible. In a flexible position, the fingers can be straightened quite easily with the hands. With a hard one, this is either impossible, or is achieved with great difficulty and is often accompanied by acute pain. This pathology is often accompanied by the formation of a so-called bone.
Hammer toes are a sign that you are under a lot of pressure from others who, for whatever reason, are not receptive to your thoughts and ideas. People with this finger shape are subject to a kind of intellectual violence and, in order to maintain peace and stability, may abandon their point of view in favor of an opponent.
Depending on which of the fingers has taken on a hammer-shaped shape, one can judge the reasons that prevent a person from standing up for himself, which negatively affects self-esteem.
If the second finger is bent, the reason may be a reluctance to reveal your feelings to family members or work colleagues. The reason for the curvature of the third finger most likely lies in the person’s attitude towards himself.
A crooked fourth finger indicates that a person does not want to expose ideas and thoughts that affect his relationships with loved ones or related to sex or finances. A crooked fifth toe is associated with safety issues.
When carefully examining the toes, sometimes in the upper area of the toe pad you can find a small indentation, similar to the mark of a blow with a small hammer. Such a recess may be a sign that the ideas you expressed were rejected either by others or by yourself out of a desire to protect yourself.
If you discover this kind of curvature or bending of your fingers, you should immediately begin treatment, because even a minor pathology can lead to irreversible deformation of the foot. If the fingers have just begun to bend, they are quite easy to straighten; if this turns out to be difficult, you need to consult an orthopedic doctor. After your examination, the doctor will prescribe treatment, which includes the selection of special insoles to strengthen the muscles and correct the instep of the foot.
If the skin on the outer surface of the fingers has already hardened and even more so ulcers have formed, this means that the process has gone too far. Most likely, the disease has entered a phase when the deformed fingers are already beginning to be fixed in a bent position and are difficult to straighten. In this case, treatment should begin immediately, otherwise the soft tissues related to the crooked toe will begin to harden, resulting in a severe deformity of the foot. This situation already requires surgical intervention. Surgery to lengthen the muscles of the finger may be necessary, and in more advanced cases, several such operations may be necessary. If even after this a positive result is not achieved, the patient will undergo the so-called sintering of the two bones of the phalanges of the finger.
Together with physical methods of treating bent fingers, correction of the emotional sphere must be carried out. Learn not to think about the impression you make on others. Stop communicating with people who harshly criticize and do not accept your plans, or at least reduce contact with them to a minimum and communicate only on neutral topics. Strive to make your ideas and dreams come true. Some things will definitely work out, some won’t, but it’s still better than believing in your own worthlessness and regretting for the rest of your life that you didn’t even try to realize your dream.
Fingers sometimes become flattened as a result of the formation of a bone on one of them. Gradually increasing in size, the bone causes the thumb to bend inward, which contributes to the flattening of neighboring fingers. But the toes may look flattened even without the formation of such a bone. In psycho-emotional terms, this may indicate disappointment in one’s beliefs. You may have experienced a feeling of collapse after your thoughts and ideas were harshly rejected by others.
By which of the toes is flattened to a greater extent, you can judge the situation in which a person finds himself, and also try to imagine what makes him agree with the opinions of other people to the detriment of his own. Most often, the second finger flattens the third, almost completely covering it from above.
A flattened second finger means you have difficulty expressing your feelings and needs. Such a natural feeling as self-love is often beyond your control. Also, the reason for the flattening of the second finger may be the partner’s reluctance to take into account your opinion.
If the third finger is flattened, this may indicate that, in an effort to suppress aggression and act to please others, you are sacrificing your self-esteem and self-esteem.
A flattened fourth finger indicates that for some very good reason you have allowed others to trample on your ideas. Perhaps you simply had no other choice, and under great pressure you were forced to agree with the opinions of others.
If the fifth finger is flattened, this indicates a voluntary renunciation of your beliefs in order to accept the views traditional for your family.
Be that as it may, there is no need to despair; you can always find a way out of any situation. Having noticed that one of the fingers is in a pinched position, you need to calmly and thoroughly think about the possible reasons for this, understand your feelings and relationships with other people. You need to understand why it is so difficult to move forward, who or what wants to subjugate you, whether there are objective reasons for this, and what happens to your life force.
Having realized all this, you must make a choice between a free, fulfilling life and the illusion of peace. Having chosen freedom, you need to persistently move towards your goal and do everything to break the shackles of internal or external restrictions.
BONES ON THE BIG TOES
The bunion at the base of the big toe is a kind of bony outgrowth. First, a lump appears on the outer side of the finger, after which it gradually bends in the opposite direction (Fig. 26).
The size of the bone can vary - from a very small tubercle to a huge bump, leading to significant deformation of the entire foot. Recently, this pathology has become quite common; in 90% of cases it occurs in women.
Rice. 26. Bone on the big toe
As it grows in size and protrudes more and more outward, the bone at the base of the big toe causes it to bend inward. With an advanced process, the thumb can even partially cover the second finger, which, in turn, bends, can cover the third finger. The nail on the big toe begins to grow inward.
This overlap of the fingers leads to irritation on the skin, which becomes inflamed and red. This process also affects the deeper layers of tissue on the bone, which leads to hardening of the skin and the formation of calluses. Other toes on the foot also often become curved and take on a hammer-like shape.
It is easy to notice that the bones are formed on the thumb, that is, at the location of the fifth, sixth and seventh chakras, which are responsible for the neck and head area.
Natural causes of pitting
The reasons for the formation of bunions on the big toes can be both purely physical and emotional. One of the main reasons is poorly chosen shoes. It is known that in the vast majority of cases, bunions form on the toes of people who wear shoes, which almost never happens in people who walk barefoot. And the fact that bunions are formed mainly in women is usually explained by their wearing narrow high-heeled shoes.
Of course, not everything is so simple. It cannot be stated unequivocally that wearing such shoes necessarily leads to the formation of a bunion on the big toe. There are many examples where pathology developed in men and women who never wore high-heeled shoes, and did not develop in women who spent their entire lives wearing elegant shoes. It is also known that in some cases a bunion forms on only one leg, and in others on both, and that the bunions can vary significantly in size. Therefore, we can conclude that narrow high-heeled shoes are most often a necessary, but far from the only condition for the formation of a bunion on the big toe.
A person is not born with a bunion on his big toe, and the likelihood of its occurrence cannot be predicted, unlike, for example, flat feet, which is inherited. Whether a person will develop flat feet or not can be determined by examining the feet of a newborn. The formation of a bone is only a simple deviation from the normal development and growth of the foot and is not inherited.
There are cases where, over the course of several generations, people from the same family grew bones on their big toes. But even in such situations, we can only talk about the type of foot with hereditary characteristics, and not about a pathology that is inherited. The presence of bones in several generations rather indicates a certain mentality that is inherited by children from their parents, which in some situations gives an emotional impetus to trigger the growth mechanism of the bone on the thumb.
The question of whether flat feet can cause the formation of a bone cannot be answered unequivocally. In people suffering from flat feet, the arch of the foot, not finding strong support, can settle, which will lead to an uneven distribution of body weight on the foot. Sometimes this causes the thumb to protrude outward, but this is not always followed by the formation of a bunion. On the contrary, in most cases, subsidence of the arch of the foot is not a cause, but a consequence of the appearance of a bunion.
A sufficient number of cases have been recorded when a bone began to grow on people’s toes, and examination clearly showed that the cause was a more or less serious injury to the foot. A case is described in which a construction worker dropped a brick on his foot, and after some time a bone grew on his big toe. The most curious thing is that soon the same bone appeared on the other, uninjured leg. In such cases, doctors talk about the so-called sympathetic effect, that is, a symmetrical reflection to a place opposite to the one that was affected. This phenomenon is quite common: when one organ is diseased, pain can be felt in a completely different one.
In addition to the reasons described above, the appearance of bunions on the big toes can also be caused by various foot diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, congenital bone abnormalities, excessive stress on the foot associated with professional activities, for example, among ballet dancers, etc.
Psycho-emotional reasons for the appearance of pits
We said above that one of the reasons for the formation of a bunion may be flat feet. The causes of flat feet, in turn, can be found in the psycho-emotional sphere. Flat feet are literally a loss of support. For example, if a person spent his childhood in poverty or an atmosphere of emotional vacuum, then his relationship with his own children will most likely be far from ideal. In turn, his children, having become parents, will also not be able to provide support to their offspring. If this vicious circle is not broken, both emotionally and physically, it is very likely that these problems will continue to pass from generation to generation.
Feelings of insecurity are closely related to issues of faith. In other words, an emotionally insecure person does not believe in the support of the Universe. Such people do not have the feeling that they are firmly on their feet in this life, and as a result, their existence comes down to continuous fears for their safety. If such a person’s relationship with his physical body is interrupted, he begins to doubt even his right to exist. As a consequence of this condition, problems arise in the first chakra.
Relationships between parents and children
Let's take a closer look at how family relationships can affect the occurrence of bunions on the toes. If a mother does not have deep affection for her child, a feeling of insecurity begins to grow in his worldview. Why is this happening? In the most severe cases, it can be stated that a woman lacks a sense of motherhood. Usually, such women, in addition to feeding the child and minimal care for him, do not show themselves in any way as mothers. The lack of maternal love is often “compensated” by strict upbringing, excessive discipline and invasion of the child’s personal space.
A child in such a family is deprived of psychological support and a sense of security; the world around him inspires serious fears. The baby strives with all his might to fill these gaps, proving his right to exist. This sense of purpose usually results in the child doing everything in his power to meet his parents' expectations. Failures only stimulate the next attempts to achieve success. When a child, trying to gain recognition and love, is faced with strict parental demands for discipline, he often finds himself in a situation where he cannot insist on his own, stand up for himself or simply express his opinion - for fear of being ridiculed. The consequence of this is complete unconditional submission to parents. Those who had to experience this in childhood, even as adults, hide their own desires and feelings from others.
Quite often, the consequence of such a relationship between children and parents is the formation of bunions on the big toes. The projection area of the heart begins to protrude forward, as if trying to draw attention to a certain mental problem. And a person tries to solve this problem by winning the love that he was deprived of in childhood. The fifth chakra is also involved in this process, which explains the difficulty in expressing one's love and many other feelings.
Redness and swelling on the bones are a signal that a person was deprived of attention in childhood and is now experiencing mental anguish. Such people really need love and care. Redness of the skin on the bones can also mean anger at yourself after realizing how much effort and time was spent trying to please others.
Areas of hardened skin on the bones, that is, in the area of the projection of the heart, also indicate a person’s vulnerability, how difficult it is for him to open his heart to love (Fig. 27).
Rice. 27. Areas of hardened skin in the area of the projection of the heart
Rough skin on this area of the foot, and often on the fifth toes, means a desire to protect oneself from heartfelt experiences. Such people did not know parental love in childhood and remember only a harsh upbringing. Sometimes feet with bunions become yellow or red. The yellow color of the foot indicates that the person has reached an extreme state. He was tired of pleasing others while suppressing his own mental and physical needs. He can no longer endure all this. The red color indicates a deep conflict with parents, regardless of the person’s age.
The desire of people with bunions to prove their superiority forces them to spend a lot of effort and energy on playing sports or choose a profession that requires enormous self-discipline, self-sacrifice and long, exhausting work. Many of them quite often begin to master martial arts, writing or acting.
Wanting to be liked, such people often strive to become useful to others, showing attention and care for them. This is favored by the profession of a teacher or educator. By providing assistance and all kinds of support to his students in the process of teaching and upbringing, the teacher receives from them the positive energy he needs.
Bunions and arthritis
Over time, people with bunions can develop a condition called arthritis, and women are twice as likely to have it than men. The cause of arthritis is insufficient removal of toxins from connective tissues. Once settled in the tissues, these substances crystallize, making it difficult for a person to move. On an emotional level, this is associated with resistance to change.
The appearance of arthritis in combination with bunions is easily explained. The physical pain and discomfort when walking that accompany us is a reflection of the emotional problems we carry with us from childhood. The rigid nature of body movements is a consequence of Spartan upbringing and lack of attention and love from parents.
Arthritis in combination with an excessively high arch of the foot may indicate a desire for superiority over others. Perhaps you place too high demands not only on yourself, but also on other people.
Let's summarize the above. Despite the huge variety of life situations and the impossibility of finding two identical people both physically and psychologically, it is still possible to identify a number of universal causes for the formation of bunions.
Already from early childhood, the child’s thoughts, feelings and desires are restrained and limited by adults. Because of this, many of us tend to live and act solely to please others. Perfectionism, expressed in the desire to be perfect in everything, is often accompanied by restraint in expressing one's thoughts and feelings. Such a person is characterized by a feeling of insecurity and low self-esteem.
Fear of possible failure creates insurmountable obstacles to new endeavors, and sometimes it takes great effort to overcome this fear. Anticipation of failure, combined with misunderstanding or disapproval from others, leads to resentment and even anger. A person may get the impression that he is absolutely enslaved by circumstances. Trying to protect his inner self, he is forced to endure this situation without expressing his feelings in any way. A person burdened with this problem is incredibly restrained in expressing his feelings, even if they burn him from the inside. It is not surprising that such behavior is falsely interpreted by others as insensitivity and heartlessness towards them.
How to get rid of bunions on your feet
In order to eliminate bunions on the feet, conservative treatment methods are most often used: the use of protective pads; special arch support inserts that help compensate for improper lifting; wearing custom-tailored shoes.
In particularly advanced cases, an orthopedic surgeon may recommend surgery. To date, about 130 methods of surgical intervention have been proposed to solve this problem, mainly aimed at correcting the shape of bones, ligaments and tendons. The main goal of this operation is to return the big toe to its natural position.
If the bone is small and has not yet severely deformed the foot, a rather gentle procedure is performed, the so-called boneectomy. In more complex cases, an operation is performed using the Keller method , during which partial removal of the thumb joint is performed while simultaneously tightening the ligaments. Complications may occur after this operation: shortening the bone of the big toe sometimes causes it to sag.
Another operation, osteotomy , involves cutting off the bone to straighten it. The operated bone is fixed with metal pins or bolts, after which a plaster cast is applied to the foot for 6-8 weeks. The disadvantage of this method is the need to walk on crutches for a long time after surgery. In addition, there is a possibility that the bone will not heal properly, in which case a repeat operation may be required.
Sometimes doctors recommend surgery only on the soft tissues of the foot. In this case, the ligaments and muscles are tightened, as a result of which the finger assumes its normal position. True, if the finger is pulled too much, complications can arise that can only be eliminated with repeated surgery.
You can also help yourself using the method of psycho-emotional correction. To begin with, you should simply acknowledge the fact that throughout your entire life you have done nothing but suppress your own feelings and emotions, not allowing them to spill out. Then, without waiting for this from others, try to adequately evaluate your own merits and get approval from yourself for all your actions. And finally, finally get rid of the need to always be the best in everything. Just be yourself.
FUNGAL DISEASES OF THE FEET
Foot fungus usually appears in the toes and, if left untreated, can spread to the nail beds or even the groin and armpits.
A humid environment creates favorable conditions for infection. Therefore, the cause of fungal foot disease is often walking barefoot on a wet floor in a bathhouse, sauna, swimming pool, in the shower rooms of fitness clubs or using the things of a sick person.
Most often, athletes suffer from fungal foot disease, because their feet are constantly moist due to increased sweating during physical activity. For this reason, the treatment process is delayed and is ineffective. Secondary bacterial infection is very dangerous; its symptoms are much more pronounced, and treatment lasts much longer.
From a psycho-emotional point of view, a fungal infection on the feet is a sign that there are people in your environment who are draining your physical and spiritual energy or parasitizing on your kindness.
Since the fungus can only live in a humid environment, and moisture is a symbol of tears and emotions, there is a very high probability that a person who finds himself in a life situation that requires enormous emotional stress from him will definitely get a fungal disease of the feet.
In most cases, fungus on the feet forms between the toes and on their inner side, that is, in places related to the expression of thoughts and thinking in general. This indicates that you are passionate about receiving recognition from the people around you.
Fungal infections often occur in the heart chakra area. In a psychological sense, this is expressed in the feeling that others do not recognize your merits and achievements and are simply using them for their own purposes. Peeling of the skin on the affected areas means that the person feels defenseless, as if emotionally naked. Redness of the feet may indicate a suppressed feeling of anger. The appearance of cracks between the fingers, similar to cuts, is also evidence that the situation in which the person finds himself is causing him suffering.
If a fungal infection on the feet has caused thickening of the nails, this indicates that you are trying to somehow protect yourself from the suffering that people who parasitize on your emotions cause you.
Locations of the fungus
Based on the location of the fungal infection, the emotional cause of the disease can be more accurately determined. For example, the appearance of fungi under your fingers indicates problems with the people you see most often. These are your family and friends, colleagues, friends from the sports club, etc.
The space between the fourth finger and the little finger corresponds to the first and second chakras, which together are responsible for relationships with a large number of people. Localization of a fungal infection between these two fingers is most common and is a sign that a person really needs recognition of his merits and merits by the people around him. Perhaps you have problems with family members who live at your expense, or with colleagues who tend to take credit for your ideas, and you are angry with them because of the situation.
The appearance of a fungus on the foot between the fourth and third toes, in a place associated with the fourth and third chakras, indicates pride and low self-esteem. Perhaps you have problems of an intimate nature or you feel that you are not loved, but are only being used to achieve their own selfish interests.
If the fungus appears on the foot between the third and second toes, in a place associated with the second and third chakras, this speaks about the integrity of your personality, the degree of self-esteem, the nature of your relationships with other people and how you perceive the situation.
To get rid of fungal disease on the feet, you first need to give up striving in everything and always receive the approval and recognition of others. Having learned this, you will gain freedom and will no longer allow yourself to be controlled. You will become more self-reliant and will be able to promote your ideas on your own, without caring what other people think about it.
Where do warts come from?
The cause of warts on the feet is a virus that penetrates the skin through small cuts or abrasions. As with fungal infections, this virus is contracted by walking on dirty surfaces or wet, warm floors of gyms and swimming pools. Warts are more common in children than in adults.
Warts on the feet are convex in shape and dark in color, ranging from gray to brown. Dotted darkening may be observed in the center of the tumor.
Warts themselves are not dangerous, but their presence is often associated with painful sensations, especially on the big ball of the foot or on the heel, that is, on those parts of the foot where the greatest load occurs when walking.
Occasionally, serious malignant neoplasms are mistaken for warts, but much more often they are confused with hardenings on the skin. Therefore, in order not to take risks, in suspicious cases it is better to consult a doctor who will make an accurate diagnosis.
Psycho-emotional cause of warts
From an emotional point of view, the appearance of a wart means that a person is experiencing strong external pressure in some area of his life and is unable to resist it. Damage to the tissues around the site where the virus penetrates the skin indicates that there is a desire to confront either a person or a specific problem, but the strength for this is clearly not enough. The pain caused by warts is another proof of how painful this situation is for you.
The appearance of warts in the vast majority of cases is associated with one of the family members. Children are much more likely than adults to experience a feeling of insecurity and are many times more sensitive to intrusion and encroachment on their living space from brothers, sisters or older family members. While loving their offenders as close relatives, children can simultaneously experience negative emotions towards them because they are loved more by their parents and praised more often by others.
From childhood beliefs we have come to the stereotype of a toad or a frog - carriers of warts. The fairy-tale witch is often depicted completely covered in warts. These unpleasant symbols express what a person does not accept in life and what is disgusting to him about himself. It turns out that the appearance of warts is associated more likely with heavy and gloomy thoughts, and not with external real enemies.
Based on the location of the warts, you can judge what is unsatisfactory for you in life and in yourself. For example, a wart on the big ball of the foot, the soft tissue of which is related to the fourth chakra, that is, the heart and lungs, indicates self-hatred. A person with a wart in this place is often ashamed of his actions, and he also tends to feel unworthy of love. If the situation is not corrected, this can lead to disastrous consequences: the person will simply cease to perceive himself as an individual.
How to get rid of warts
It is imperative to treat your feet for warts, because these formations tend to grow. Be sure to consult a doctor who will prescribe adequate treatment. Under no circumstances should warts be picked off, as this may cause the virus to enter the bloodstream. Getting rid of warts on the sole can be very difficult. They tend to disappear, seemingly forever, and then appear again.
There are several methods for removing warts. Widespread methods include the use of a laser, treatment (freezing) of warts with liquid nitrogen, and surgical removal under local anesthesia. Various ointments or liquids can help, but they should be used carefully so as not to damage the healthy tissue surrounding the wart.
An analysis of the psycho-emotional causes of their occurrence can help get rid of warts. To begin, ask yourself the following questions: which of the unpleasant traits of your character suddenly began to lead? Does it make you feel ashamed? Have you tried to somehow overcome this within yourself? Do you feel like those around you are encroaching on your inner space, making holes in it and making you vulnerable? Do you often have to struggle with your flaws and shortcomings and don’t you feel guilty about this?
Of course, a lot depends on those around you. Accept and love a person for who he is, with all his problems - this is the best cure not only for depression, but also for many skin diseases, including warts.
All people, without exception, sweat, such is the nature of the human body. The process of sweating is necessary to maintain normal heat balance in the body. When a person sweats, moisture evaporates from the surface of the skin, causing the body to cool. Together with sweat, various toxins are removed from the body, and the salt balance is regulated. People who are addicted to smoking, alcohol, hot spices and drink a lot of coffee sweat much more actively, as the body tries to remove all these harmful substances as quickly as possible.
Sweat is released from almost the entire surface of the body, easily evaporating from exposed skin. Sweat secretions partially pass through clothing and are partially absorbed into it. The secretion of sweat in the area of the feet is difficult, which is easily explained by the almost constant closure of this part of the body. The feet are usually covered with socks and shoes. Passing through socks, sweat cannot evaporate freely due to the dense material of the shoes, remaining inside and partially absorbed into the shoes. Soon our shoes or boots begin to smell unpleasant, and we have to resort to various tricks to get rid of this smell.
However, everyone sweats at different rates. The activity of the sweat glands is regulated by the nervous system, which is oriented towards the emotional state of a person. Active sweating can mean that a person is very upset, scared or aggressive. The sweat released for these reasons has a specific unpleasant odor, which, among other things, may mean that a person is in a situation that literally smells bad. Increased sweating also indicates the release of feelings that worry a person and which he has kept to himself for a long time. And if a person is literally sweating every minute, this indicates a life in constant fear.
The unpleasant smell of sweat symbolizes the slow decay of feelings. You, as it were, cover feelings such as anger, fear, frustration with ashes, and they remain in this form until a fire occurs with the release of emotions.
To get rid of excess sweating, you need to try to free yourself from those feelings that you suppress within yourself. Learn to protect yourself and trust yourself, accept reality as it is without fear, promptly getting rid of the anger boiling inside.
WATER BUBBLES (BULBS)
Scuffs that turn into blisters appear on the feet as a result of friction between the shoe and the foot. On the other hand, the physical reasons for the appearance of water bubbles are a reflection of the emotional reasons. Indeed, by analogy with the formation of a water bubble, psychological friction between people is often accompanied by the accumulation of emotions (like fluid under the skin) and the appearance of mental “calluses”.
It is well known from physics that the stronger the friction, the more difficult the movement. In addition, the friction process is accompanied by the generation of energy, which is released in the form of heat. It's the same with human emotions. The more obstacles you have in your life, the slower you move and the more energy it takes to overcome friction. Trying to curb the fire that is flaring up inside, you accumulate “water,” which on a physical level leads to the formation of water blisters and serves as a kind of sign of overcoming the current situation.
By the way, blisters from sunburn mean that a person is irritated by the current situation. And since such burns are passive in nature (the person has simply been sunbathing for too long), irritation can accumulate without resistance from the person.
A striking example of emotional resistance is the water blisters on the feet of recruits. Not yet accustomed to the hardships of army life, they consider many things meaningless and resist it, at the same time accumulating various emotions within themselves. It is these unexpressed emotions that lead to the formation of calluses.
By the location of the blisters, you can find out what prompted the person to resist. If a water callus appears on the heel, the cause may be concerns about your safety, disagreements at work or in the family, or simply fear about the future. Having a callus on the big ball of your foot can mean that you have very conflicted feelings about something or are resistant to another person's feelings. A water bubble on your toe is a clear sign of internal resistance to the opinions of others or, conversely, a sign of non-recognition of your ideas by the people around you.
Curing calluses is quite easy. If you usually pierce the bubble yourself with a needle and squeeze out the liquid that has accumulated there, this means that you know how to consciously get rid of excess emotions. If you tend to wait for the bubble to burst on its own, this means that your emotions are spilling out without control on your part. All the same, in both cases you experience relief.
Often, at the site of a burst callus, a patch of hardened skin forms, which indicates a person’s desire to protect himself from relapse after experiencing anxiety. If the skin in this area has gone away safely, this means that you are beginning to get rid of the problems that caused the calluses to appear.
If an infection gets into the wound at the site of a burst callus, it can be assumed that destructive feelings begin to dominate in your soul. You are overwhelmed by negative thoughts and emotions, and memories of sad past experiences literally eat away at your soul.
DRY CALLS AND HARD SKIN
Causes of calluses formation
Dry calluses and hardening on the skin of the feet appear as a result of prolonged compression of the bones or toes by shoes. Calluses are relatively easy to spot. In the center they usually have harder and denser skin, which is surrounded by dead tissue of a yellowish tint.
Hard calluses usually appear on the raised areas of the foot, where the maximum pressure is applied to the skin, such as on the side of the little toes or on the outer surface of the toes. Unlike calluses, common skin calluses are most often found on the sides of the feet or the soles of the feet.
Dry calluses are most common in women, since they tend to wear shoes that are too tight or too loose, as a tribute to fashion. Dry calluses and hardening are also caused by poorly made shoes with rough seams inside, holey socks, and hammertoes.
By the location of calluses or hardening of the skin, one can judge what problems a person has emotionally. Since both pathologies are accompanied by loss of skin sensitivity, they may indicate a desire to protect yourself from others, and specifically from those who pose a potential threat or have already offended you in some way.
The color of dry calluses and hardened skin is most often yellowish, which shows internal insecurity or irritation, and also indicates that the person is in a situation that is unbearable for him. The reddish color of the callus indicates that you are very angry with someone or something. White hardening can mean complete exhaustion: you feel as if you have worked hard for a long time and have wasted all your vitality.
Dry calluses form mainly on the toes, that is, in places associated with a person’s way of thinking and his ideas. The appearance of calluses in this way indicates that you are often unhappy or depressed by your own thoughts. Calluses and hardening on the feet in the area of the projection of the heart mean that you are simply exhausted by experiences. If liquid accumulates under the hardening of the skin, this is a sign that your emotions cannot find a way out.
The causes of calluses on the toes will vary depending on where they are located. As you know, the fifth, sixth and seventh chakras, which are related to self-expression, intuition and human thoughts, are projected onto the toes. The appearance of dry calluses and hard skin in these places may indicate a person’s desire to isolate himself from his own thoughts or the opinions of others. It is also important which foot the callus has formed on: the right foot, as you remember, is associated with the masculine principle, the left – with the feminine.
If dry calluses form on the pads of your fingers, this indicates that you do not want to listen to your inner voice, you are trying to drown it out, not wanting to know what is really happening in your life. The formation of calluses closer to the neck of the finger means a reluctance to express your thoughts and feelings or an attempt to protect your inner world from outside interference. Calluses on the side surfaces of the fingers, where the projections of the hearing organs extend, indicate that you are avoiding finding out the whole truth, wanting to avoid possible troubles.
Calluses on fingers
Much also depends on which finger has dry calluses or hardened skin. They can be used to judge those thoughts and ideas that a person wants to hide from others. To describe each finger separately, we will agree to use numbering based on the location of the chakras (see Fig. 10).
The largest (fifth) finger has projections of the three main chakras. The fourth finger is associated with the heart chakra, which is responsible for a person’s ability to receive or give love. The appearance of calluses on this finger may mean that a person wants to protect himself from the pain of past grievances or protect his love.
Calluses on the middle or third toe indicate a damaged sense of self-worth. Perhaps you are too dismissive of yourself, lowering your self-esteem. Stop being self-deprecating by justifying your failures as lack of talent, lack of practice, or lack of support from others.
The formation of calluses on the second finger indicates that a person’s defensive reaction is shifting towards his personal experiences, towards relationships with friends, work colleagues or loved ones. In other words, you are constantly trying to defend yourself from someone, wanting to throw them out of your thoughts completely.
The appearance of calluses on the first finger is associated with a person’s thoughts about his family or relationships at work. In terms of the frequency of calluses, the first finger is the leader among all the others. Indeed, who else, if not our loved ones or work colleagues, so often with their actions prevent us from realizing our ideas. The natural reaction in such a situation is the desire to wall yourself off from everyone, to be left alone with yourself in order to finally listen to your inner voice, which will persistently insist on your moving forward, no matter what.
Hard leather on heels
Hardening of the skin on and around the heel, in the places of projection of the first chakra, also has its own explanation. A person with such heels most likely has problems with his family, like-minded people, work colleagues - in general, with those people who so often involuntarily restrain his movement forward.
You can often find people whose heels seem to stick out backwards. This suggests that the person is internally dependent on others or is not active enough in life. Sometimes it takes a lot of effort to weaken the influence of family or colleagues and start moving on your own path.
Thus, hard skin on the heels symbolizes a person's refusal to move forward due to fear of impending changes. An insecure person is usually afraid of the future, since the danger of losing the relative security and connections with already familiar people is too great.
If the hardened skin on the heel begins to crack, then with a high degree of probability it can be said that your problems are simply tearing you apart, causing unbearable pain.
How to get rid of dry calluses
Treatment of dry calluses and hardening on the feet consists primarily of eliminating mechanical causes, for example, changing shoes to more comfortable ones. Before starting treatment, you should consult a doctor, since self-medication can lead to the formation of infected wounds.
To get rid of calluses, you can use special products. They contain acid, so they must be handled with extreme care. These drugs are contraindicated for people with diabetes or circulatory problems.
In addition, softening foot baths followed by the use of pumice are successfully used.
Sometimes the skin on the feet begins to peel off spontaneously, and this process occurs without redness, pain or other side effects. During a visit to the doctor, as a rule, it turns out that the person is healthy and this pathology has nothing to do with psoriasis, a fungal infection, or the consequences of taking medications. Soon the peeling process stops on its own.
This phenomenon also has psycho-emotional reasons, which are not difficult to understand. Remember what changes have happened to you recently. Was their anticipation joyful or alarming? Did you feel insecure? What caused the change and what was the result?
Most often, the skin on your feet comes off at moments in life when you are freeing yourself from something old or unnecessary. If the skin peels off in the area of one chakra, then we are talking only about problems related to this chakra. If the skin comes off from the entire foot, this indicates fundamental changes in life and the discarding of everything old that prevents you from moving forward.
Peeling of the skin is therefore a positive sign. By abandoning the old for the new, people receive a boost in their development and an incentive for life achievements.
FOLDS AND WRINKLES ON THE FEET
Thorns of life's path
Various folds and wrinkles on the skin of the feet represent the ups and downs on the path of life, which have already been overcome or are currently being overcome. Flat areas on the feet are a sign of a path on a flat surface. By looking at the feet, you can find out the nature of a person’s life path.
Folds and wrinkles are usually found in those places on the feet where a person’s relationship with himself and with the outside world is designed. Irregularities on the skin symbolize obstacles, hindrances or obstacles that hold back progress. All this takes away our vital energy, making life more difficult. Before you start solving any problem, think about whether the possible result is worth such a large investment of effort and time.
The folds make our feet look like pages covered in symbols. These are a kind of clues indicating that the time has come for a person to do something. Folds and wrinkles on the feet can also mean that a person wants to hide something about himself from others. But it may also be that he has conflicting feelings towards something.
Skin irregularities and chakras
The skin of the foot in the area of the second chakra often has a wavy surface, which indicates difficult relationships with people, indicates financial problems or problems of a sexual nature, and the person often feels guilty about what is happening. Women tend to have more wrinkles in this area, as they are more likely to feel guilty, especially towards children.
Folds and wrinkles on the feet in the area of the neck of the toes, that is, in the place of projection of the neck, symbolize peculiar fetters that do not give a person the opportunity to express everything he thinks.
Deep folds cutting across the second chakra indicate difficulties in relationships that simply need to be overcome. A clear line between the third and fourth fingers is a sign that you do not want to admit your feelings and are trying to isolate yourself from them because they scare you. Horizontal lines on the third chakra indicate problems related to our self-esteem.
In some cases, lines of folds and wrinkles on the skin of the feet form recognizable silhouettes. The outline of a funnel, for example, means that your strength is running out. A pattern in the form of a loop or grid warns that a person is trapped. A fold on the foot that crosses the area where the heart is projected is a sign that you have had to go through a serious heart drama. Chaotically scattered lines can indicate disorder and confusion in thoughts, and lines in the shape of the letter V - that you cannot make a final decision in a matter that is important to you.
To be healthy for a person means to be whole. Thus, we can conclude that the dividing folds and wrinkles appear on the feet due to some internal split that we may experience. Listen carefully to your feelings, unconditionally accept what is necessary and useful, rejecting everything alien or unnecessary to you.
The causes of thick toenails can vary. Most often this is associated with fungal diseases, bacterial infections and diabetes. Infections and diabetes impair blood circulation and weaken the immune system, causing nails to become thicker, and in some cases even split and change shape or color. If the nails become very thick, a person may even experience pain when putting on shoes or while walking.
From a psycho-emotional point of view, toenails symbolize the protection of our mental activity. Thus, thickening of the nail beds may mean that we need additional protection from the opinions of others who constantly criticize our ideas. In general, any deformation of the nail plates or any other deviation from the norm is a sign that a person’s inner world needs protection. To clarify the essence of a specific problem, you need to know in which chakra the thickening of the nail or its destruction occurred.
A peeling nail can be a signal that there is a split in your ideas and thoughts. A broken nail often indicates that you are simply going out of your way to defend your own opinion. Or maybe you're overly concerned that someone has hijacked your idea? White spots on nails appear when health problems arise. The complete absence of a nail makes a person feel vulnerable and helpless.
It is quite difficult to cure diseased toenails because the nails grow very slowly, receiving negligible nutrients from the blood. Sometimes it takes up to six months before a new, clean and healthy nail grows. The problem can be solved by modern treatment methods, including medications for both internal and external use.
Before you begin drug treatment of nails, you need to realize what or who is causing you concern and the desire to protect your inner world. Understanding the essence of this problem will help you create an algorithm for solving it.
Causes of ingrown nails
A pathology such as ingrown toenails occurs when skin begins to grow on the edges of the nail or the nail plate becomes bent. Ingrown toenails can also be caused by other problems, such as a severely bruised nail or arthritis. This problem can be caused by wearing shoes that are too tight or by improperly cutting the nails, which causes their lateral edges to become too rounded.
Toenails serve as protection for the fingers, which, like antennas, capture ideas and thoughts coming to us from the outside world. From a psycho-emotional point of view, nail plates help us defend our opinions and thoughts if we have a need to express them.
What does this mean?
Toenails that are too long often curl inward at the sides, becoming like a turtle shell. This suggests that a person constantly strives to hide from the outside world, like a turtle that crawls under its shell in case of danger. If an infection occurs at the site of an ingrown nail, this is a sign that the situation is taking a serious turn. Perhaps someone is trying to influence your opinion to your detriment.
It is of great importance which of the toes the nail grows on. An ingrown nail on the first finger means that someone is trying to encroach on those aspects of your life that make you especially vulnerable: intuition, creativity, communication, spirituality, inner peace. If the nail grows on the second finger (which belongs to the fourth chakra), this may mean that you are constantly getting into arguments with someone about your thoughts, upbringing, love and pride, wanting to protect yourself from psychological pressure from the outside.
An ingrown nail on the third finger indicates your desire to revise your own ideas about yourself. An ingrown nail on the second finger means that you doubt your personal capabilities, including sexual ones, and are worried about financial problems and relationships with people. You may feel guilty or feel like your thoughts are under attack from strangers.
An ingrown nail on the fifth finger means self-doubt, all kinds of fears, as well as problems in relationships with family members and fear for one’s safety.
Treatment of ingrown toenails
Baths with various detergents or bath salts will help cure the nail. After the procedure, you need to wipe your toes dry, lubricate them with a mild antiseptic cream, and apply a bandage on top that will protect the toe from infection. Special products are also used to first soften dead skin cells and then remove them from the surface of the nail and surrounding areas.
In more severe cases, if inflammation appears, you should consult an orthopedic doctor who will carefully trim the infected nail or cut off the skin that has grown on the nail. Sometimes a special chemical solution is used to remove part of the nail that has grown into the finger. At the same time, the nail becomes narrower and stops bending inward. If none of the therapeutic agents help, the nail must be completely removed.
To solve the psycho-emotional problems associated with this pathology, you should try to answer the following questions. How to maintain confidence in yourself that you are right, so that in the future you can realize your plans without prior approval from others? What do you need to do to bring your idea to life, be able to convey its meaning to others and receive financial support? Determine what is preventing you from achieving your plans, who makes you doubt their significance, and why these people feel entitled to do so. Finally, stop being afraid, remain confident that you are right and don’t stop halfway.
Spurs on heels
So-called heel spurs are sharp bone spurs that appear at the insertion of a tendon on the back of the heel or on the sole of the heel bone. Heel spurs are usually caused by calcium deposition as a result of long-term inflammation of the plantar fascia. Inflammation can begin as a result of diseases such as arthritis and articular spondylitis, as well as after a sports injury or when the foot turns inwards. Often, the inflammatory process appears during obesity or during pregnancy, when a woman’s weight increases greatly and her feet begin to experience excessive pressure.
With this pathology, a person experiences pain in the heel while walking, but the spurs themselves do not hurt. The pain is caused by inflamed soft tissue around the plantar fascia. The pain is not constant, sometimes the pain subsides, and sometimes it intensifies, for example in the morning after sleep or as a result of sitting on a chair for a long time.
Psycho-emotional reasons for the formation of spurs
Calcium deposits on the soles make a person inactive. It seems to “grow” to the ground, and neither mental nor physical pain can move it. The situation gets worse if a person begins to experience pleasure from doing nothing. In such a situation, it is almost impossible to force him to move anywhere.
Heel spurs are a kind of call to finally take a decisive step forward, “spur” yourself and rush towards your intended goal.
Possible treatments
To get rid of heel spurs, you must first relieve inflammation on the foot. This can be done by applying ice compresses, as well as using anti-inflammatory medications. If you experience severe discomfort when walking, you should consult an orthopedic doctor, who will recommend special shoe inserts to relieve tension on the Achilles tendon and reduce pain in the heels. Surgery to treat heel spurs is used very rarely and only in cases of chronic inflammation.
On an emotional level, you can get rid of spurs on your heels by identifying the cause of fear that forces you to mark time when you need to move forward. Decide for yourself what is more important for you - to stay in place and live your usual life, or to still take a step forward and move towards a new goal.
During the medieval Inquisition, a person with flat feet could easily be sent to the stake: it was believed that the devil himself had stepped on such people’s feet. Meanwhile, according to modern statistics, flat feet are observed in at least one person out of twenty. In most cases, the causes of this pathology should be sought in early childhood.
Based on the principle of its structure, the human foot can be compared to a car spring. The peace and safety of passengers in the car is ensured by several arches securely fastened to each other, which, if necessary, dampen vibration. The raised arch of the human foot also allows the body's weight to be evenly distributed, preventing the spine from suffering from shock when walking and running.
The arch of the foot consists of three components: two longitudinal, passing from the inside and outside from the heel to the toes, and one transverse line. The bones of the foot are connected to each other by strong ligaments. In a normal state, the foot of an adult rests on three points - the heel and two metatarsal bones, under the big toe and little toe. If for any reason the foot becomes flattened, a person develops longitudinal or transverse flatfoot.
With longitudinal flatfoot, almost the entire area of the foot is in contact with the ground. With transverse flatfoot, there is no natural support on the two metatarsal bones. Instead, the person is forced to stand using the full width of the ball of the toes, which places additional stress on the metatarsal bones.
How is flatfoot formed?
As mentioned above, the cause of flat feet should be sought in childhood. All children under two years of age have physiological flat feet. This is quite normal, since up to this age the foot is still developing. The child is just learning to walk, and the function of shock absorption is taken over by the fat pads located on the baby’s feet. With further muscle development and strengthening of bone tissue, the arch of the foot takes on the shape determined by nature. The process of forming the arch of the foot usually lasts 2–6 years, and in some cases, an orthopedist can confidently determine only by school age whether a child has flat feet or not.
With flat feet, a number of changes occur in the human body. The ligaments send a signal to the nervous system about trouble, the muscles in response receive a command to provide assistance and tense up. True, they cannot withstand such a load for a long time; their strength is quickly depleted, as a result the muscles weaken and stretch. The entire load thus falls on the bones of the foot. When the bones cannot bear it, deformation begins, which turns out to be irreversible.
Psycho-emotional causes of flat feet
Humans, unlike other mammals, take much longer after birth to learn to live independently. It will take a year before the baby learns to walk, let alone get food and other vital things that his parents will provide him for quite a long time.
The natural flat feet of a newborn reflect his need for support from family and friends. A child’s foot lift will only be fully formed by the age of 12–13 years.
Flat feet in an adult means that he constantly feels the instability of his position and lacks support from others. Such a person is like a baby who has not yet learned to stand firmly on his feet and needs a point of support. In old age, flat feet are also not uncommon. Over time, losing family and friends, a person seems to lose his point of support. Therefore, the feet of old people weaken and flatten, as if trying to give them more stability.
You can try to correct flat feet with the help of special exercises, as well as by wearing shoes with special inserts. As for solving the psycho-emotional side of the problem, the main thing is to stop falling into despair for any reason. Even if you find yourself in a difficult life situation, try to realize that not everything is as bad as it seems, even if everything is falling apart right before your eyes.
Remember, you can always find support in life, but not every one of us is able to understand this. Is this why people so often feel lonely and lost? In reality, a difficult situation most often turns out to be simply the end of another stage in a person’s life. Behind him begins the road to a new life, where everything will definitely work out, fall into place and you will be able to enjoy life again.
HIGH FOOT RIFLE
High arched feet are a relatively common occurrence, especially common in people with long toes. The cause of high lifting may be muscle contraction, neuroses, muscle problems or heredity. Wearing high-heeled shoes also helps develop a high instep.
People with high arched feet do not tolerate any changes well. Once they decide what and how they are going to do, it can be almost impossible to dissuade them. The desire to be ideal makes such people unyielding, but life is a changeable thing, and you need to be able to adapt to it.
With a high arch, the bone on the top of the foot near the toes protrudes. This indicates a highly developed need for systematization. To cope with change, certain boundaries are set to protect your inner self. Outwardly, people with high arches of their feet may come across as arrogant, arrogant, and arrogant.
To relieve the pain that occurs when the feet are raised very high, special shoe inserts are used. To solve the problem on an emotional level, you need to try to free yourself from the obsession with always being perfect in everything. Try to look at life more simply, stop setting unrealistic goals for yourself, give up obviously unattainable goals. This only spoils the mood and causes illness.
VARICOSE VEINS ON THE FEET
How varicose veins develop
Blood circulates in the human body, first falling down under the influence of gravity, and then rising up. However, blood cannot flow upward by gravity. To retain it in the blood vessels and prevent it from flowing down, the vessels have special valves that close after the next portion of blood rises upward through the blood vessels.
If part of the valves for any reason stops functioning normally, the flow of blood upward through the vessels is inhibited or completely stopped. In this case, blood begins to accumulate in the vessels of the feet, bursting them, which is externally manifested as dilated veins. Sometimes the skin in these areas itches, and the person begins to scratch it, often until it bleeds. Due to slow blood flow, such wounds may not heal for quite a long time, turning into ulcers on the legs or feet. Sometimes, due to the slow speed of blood flow, blood clots form in the vessels of the feet, which can travel with blood to any place in the body and block the arteries there.
Manifestations of the disease and their significance
From a psycho-emotional point of view, varicose veins on the feet are a sign that a person can stand up for himself only with great effort. Blood accumulated in the lowest chakras ceases to carry vital energy throughout the body.
Varicose veins in the back of the foot mean that a person's problems are related to his past. These can be either problems that are deliberately hidden from others, or events that a person has long forgotten about.
In women, varicose veins on the feet often develop during pregnancy. This is due to the fact that the woman has not yet understood or accepted the changes that have occurred to her. It is difficult for her to get rid of the subconscious thought that having a child will cause a lot of trouble and will only complicate life. Not yet realizing the great joy of motherhood, she is afraid of the unknown future.
Stagnation of blood in the feet can lead to some inhibition of the thinking process. In such a situation, it is quite difficult to change your opinion about the current situation. It seems to a person that so many different problems have fallen on him that it is not worth trying to deal with them.
The appearance of ulcers and eczema on the skin of the feet indicates that the person’s situation continues to deteriorate, perhaps he is holding on with his last strength. The combination of ulcers with severe redness of the skin indicates anger and irritation about the current situation, and the appearance of pathological discharge on the affected areas indicates bitter tears shed, but carefully hidden from others.
Long-term non-healing wounds, which are a complication of varicose veins, show how much effort and time a person needs to restore mental strength, how much he suffers from what he has experienced. The formation of blood clots indicates the onset of a period of stagnation in life and an unwillingness to change anything at this stage.
Treatment of varicose veins
Modern medicine successfully copes with varicose veins of the legs. In the earliest stages, this disease is treated with compression therapy, which is either elastic leg bandaging or the use of special anti-varicose tights or socks. A contrast shower or foot baths significantly improve the condition of your feet. The doctor may also recommend special self-massage.
If all these measures do not lead to positive results, an operation is performed to remove varicose veins or a course of special injections into small veins is prescribed. Over time, the functions of the removed vessels are transferred to other veins.
Varicose veins that appear on the top of the feet actually relate to the carefully hidden side of our life, to the hiding place where we hide our most intimate things from others. This may also be due to problems that we consider to be left in the past. Having realized the cause of the disease, you need to accept changes, free yourself from grievances, learn to defend yourself and start moving forward. Do not stop achieving this even in cases where others do not approve of your actions. Remember that there are no dead ends, there is always a way out. You just need to move forward or, conversely, leave everything in its place. This will definitely help you free yourself from the burden of emotions associated with an unpleasant situation.
Causes of swollen feet
Swollen feet can be caused by two reasons. In the first case, this is poor blood circulation, and in the second, problems with the passage of lymph. When swelling of the feet occurs due to poor blood circulation, the skin turns red, itches, and in advanced cases even bursts. In this case, an infection can get into the wound and inflammation will begin. Blood circulation in the foot can be impaired, for example, as a result of wearing tight shoes or frostbite, when damage to the blood vessels occurs.
If swollen feet occur due to poor lymph flow, it may be due to infection or injury. The body, in response to external influences, tries to eliminate the damage using its own methods of fighting infection. At the same time, the blood vessels surrounding the sore spot open, releasing nutrients, oxygen and white blood cells into the injury area.
Psychological interpretation of the problem
From a psycho-emotional point of view, redness of a swollen area on the foot indicates that the person is angry about current events or is in pain due to the current situation. Based on the toe on which the tumor appears, you can determine what aspect of your life the pain relates to and what conflict it is caused by.
In order to determine exactly what emotions caused the swelling of the feet, it is necessary to find out as accurately as possible the location of the tumor. Swelling in the third chakra means you are angry, while in the second chakra you feel guilty.
If the swollen area itches, this means that you should not put off solving your problems. If you still do not want to return to your business, the swollen place will begin to itch incessantly, as if reminding you of your duty. Sometimes in such cases a person scratches the tumor to such an extent that the skin on it bursts and fluid flows out of the wound. True, this does not bring relief, since emotions are not splashed out and problems are not resolved.
If painful swellings form on the skin of cold feet, this indicates a huge accumulation of emotions, horror that someone will find out about your suffering. In such a situation, a person seems to freeze in place, afraid to take even a step.
Blood is a fluid that belongs to the feminine elements and symbolizes emotions and love. Circulating through the veins, it carries the energy of life throughout our body. The appearance of tumors on the feet due to poor blood circulation indicates a person’s desire to stop and rest. At the moment, he simply does not believe in himself and is not able to stand up for himself.
Poor blood circulation can also mean fear of love, a desire to hide from it. A person is afraid of becoming emotionally dependent and therefore afraid of a full life and intimacy. In an effort to protect himself and not show his vulnerability, he becomes like a turtle, which, at a moment of danger, pulls its legs and head under its shell. As a result, “frozen” feelings prevent one from finding love, and a person is overwhelmed by a feeling of pain and disappointment due to the fact that he is unable to change the situation.
How to get rid of swollen feet
To get rid of this problem, you first need to understand who or what makes you feel defenseless and helpless. Do you have a feeling of an outside invasion into your inner world? Perhaps you feel the urge to drive out the invader? Finally, decide whether all this is the only reason why you cannot openly express your emotions, or is there something else?
Never give up or panic. There is a way out of any situation. Perhaps the ice that has frozen your heart will melt the fire of your anger. By finding a way to express your emotions, you can ease the pressure of them.
The disease of denial of change
Arthritis is an inflammatory disease of the joints. Affecting the joints of the feet, this disease causes severe pain when walking. Arthritis of the feet often affects people who have encountered serious obstacles in their life, or those who do not like change. By the nature of the inflammatory process in the foot, it is easy to determine the degree of indignation or irritation of a person who is forced to move when he experiences discomfort and pain.
If a person subconsciously resists change, his thoughts harden like bones, leading to physical and emotional suffering. Inflammatory processes in the feet worsen if a person experiences dissatisfaction and bitterness due to the fact that others do not want to give in to him.
“Dry” joints are a sign that all your emotions are literally burned out by the fire of inflamed thoughts. This often leads to conflict between the masculine and feminine principles. On the one hand, you strive for change and movement forward, on the other hand, you remain in a passive state. Which principle is dominant in you - male or female - can be determined by the degree of damage to the right and left feet.
Modern medicine has a fairly extensive arsenal of tools to treat arthritis. To reduce pain and prevent further development of the disease, homeopathic medicines, primrose and avocado oil, selenium, massage, wearing copper bracelets, and the Reiki method are used. It is recommended to stop smoking, eating potatoes, tomatoes and spicy seasonings.
To recover from arthritis of the feet on a psycho-emotional level, you should determine which of those around you make you angry, interfere with your life, and ignore your needs. Maybe you desperately want change but don't have the power to make it happen? Or, on the contrary, does fear of change and internal resistance force you to control the course of events, which deprives life of ease and again returns you to the problems of the past?
If you manage to understand the reasons, you can move on to finding a way out of this situation. The first thing you need to do is learn to loosen up, relax physically and psychologically. Try, for example, doing yoga or another practice that develops graceful movements. Learn to give yourself small joys, this will help you free yourself from the painful burden of the past.
The final recovery will come when you learn to appreciate the positive qualities of your character and stop being sad and lamenting about life’s failures. You need to see and accept your inner beauty, trust life, learn self-compassion. Take every opportunity to open and enjoy the next page of this wonderful life. And never forget that everything that we condemn in people, that we accuse them of, in reality applies to ourselves.
Gout, or salt deposition, is a disease associated with metabolic disorders. The disease occurs when the body produces too much uric acid and the kidneys are unable to remove it effectively. As a result, after some time the acid begins to crystallize and accumulate in the interarticular space. Accumulated uric acid in joints causes inflammation, accompanied by swelling, increased sensitivity and severe pain during movement. Gout develops relatively quickly and most often affects only one of the joints.
The peculiarity of gout is that the disease can affect any organ, and not just the one in which painful sensations appear. As for the feet, salt deposition occurs mainly in the area of the big toe, less often in the joints of the ankles.
Gout can be caused by two reasons. First of all, this is too intense production of uric acid by the liver, as a result of which the kidneys cease to remove it effectively. Another reason is most often poor nutrition. When eating large amounts of fatty sauces, rare meats and red wine, the uric acid content in the blood sharply increases.
From a psycho-emotional point of view, uric acid crystals represent emotions that, for one reason or another, have accumulated in a person. Most often this happens when he replays problems from the past over and over again in his mind, instead of throwing them out. It is no coincidence that gout most often affects the thumb area.
People most often suffer from gout in old age, when it is most difficult to give up habitual views, beliefs and ways of thinking.
Inflammation and swelling of the joints indicate pent-up feelings of anger associated with the person's ideas or way of thinking. Loss of joint flexibility is a sign of inflexibility of convictions and the desire to control the situation. For such a person, there is only one acceptable way of thinking - his own.
The reasons why uric acid crystals accumulate in the joints can tell a lot about a person. Consuming large quantities of high-calorie food is most likely an attempt to make up for the lack of vivid impressions and strong emotions, which our lives are not always generous with. Alcohol abuse may be a way to calm the inner anxiety that has taken over the mind. By resorting to such methods, a person, as it were, seeks to compensate for the lack of care and love from others.
Treatment methods for gout
Gout can be cured. To do this, first of all, it is necessary to reduce the amount of uric acid in the blood. Over time, it will stop crystallizing in the joints and will be eliminated from the body naturally. A diet that involves avoiding high-calorie foods and alcohol and switching to healthy, high-alkaline foods can help with this.
However, according to doctors, it is not so easy for a person suffering from gout to give up his culinary preferences, just as it can be difficult to change his mind about past and current events. In this case, gout attacks may recur again and again with increasing frequency.
Still, if you want to recover from gout, learn compassion for the people around you, and for yourself too. The need to strictly follow one’s convictions is nothing more than a subconscious fear of being wrong.
BURNING IN THE FEET
Why do your heels burn?
The sensation of “heels being on fire” is very similar to what we feel when our bare feet are near a fire or other strong source of heat. Most often, this burning sensation occurs in people over fifty years of age. This is explained quite simply. With age, a person often develops a whole bunch of diseases, which cause burning in the feet.
A burning sensation in the feet can be experienced by people with thyroid dysfunction, alcoholism, obesity, and diabetes. Also, burning in the feet appears with excessive sweating of the feet, nervous disorders or pinched nerve located between the third and fourth toes.
What does this mean on a psycho-emotional level?
From a psycho-emotional point of view, a burning sensation in the feet is associated with a feeling of anger or frustration caused by a certain situation. This condition can last for years. For example, a person with an alcohol addiction may fly into fits of anger when he realizes what he has turned his life into. The duality of his position only makes the situation worse. On the one hand, a patient with alcoholism becomes furious, not receiving love and compassion from others. On the other hand, he considers himself unworthy of anything good in life, feeling his worthlessness and inadequacy. In such a situation, the soles of the feet begin to “burn.”
People with diabetes may have feet that burn because they worry about not being able to get real sugar from their diet or because they are not being able to influence others as much as they should.
A patient with diabetes mellitus has an equally difficult time dealing with both an excess of love and a lack of it. If a diabetic patient is also overweight, this is clear evidence that the person, having not received enough love from others, is trying to compensate for this with excessive amounts of food.
If a burning sensation in the feet is combined with a thyroid disease, this may mean that the person is severely insulted or humiliated, about which he is angry with his offenders. If a burning sensation in your feet is felt at the point of projection of your throat, you are most likely angry with yourself, considering yourself a mumbler who does not know how to stand up for yourself or at least throw out all the accumulated emotions.
Is it possible to cope with this problem?
You can try to relieve burning and pain in your feet by regularly giving your feet a chance to rest. While resting, lie on your back, relax, and place a cushion under your feet. Foot baths with cool water, foot massage, and special shoe inserts will also help. Try to wear only cotton socks and loose-fitting shoes.
When you feel a burning sensation in your feet, you should carefully examine the situation in which you find yourself. What or who specifically makes you angry? Having found the cause or culprit of your mood, try to find a reasonable way to free yourself from the anger overwhelming you. Often anger seems to mask other, basic emotions - fear or resentment. Perhaps it is time to take responsibility for what happened, forgive yourself or anyone who may have been involved in it.
HEMATOMA OR BRUISES
With bruises or blows, blood vessels are often damaged, from which blood enters the tissues. As a result, hematomas or bruises form on the skin, by the color of which you can determine how much blood has flowed out, and even judge its properties. If bruises on your skin appear extremely easily, this means that you have very weak capillaries or have problems with blood clotting. The color of hematomas can be blue, red or black.
Bruises on the foot most often form either when a heavy object falls on your foot or when you step on something hard. A person predisposed to the formation of hematomas is more sensitive to insults than everyone else. Trying to move forward, he often experiences pain due to obstacles in his path. Such people feel as if fate is constantly dealing them blows that are difficult to bear. Sometimes they cannot even remember when and for what reason hematomas appeared on their feet.
The frequency of injuries and, accordingly, the appearance of hematomas on the feet can be reduced by considering this problem from a psycho-emotional point of view. Do you think that the cause of all your troubles are those around you who are trying to hurt you? Do you feel like you are being treated too harshly? A positive answer to these questions means that you are overly touchy and vulnerable. Analysis of the site of the injury, where the corresponding chakras go, will help you figure out exactly what.
Frequent cuts and wounds to the foot are a physical manifestation of deep emotional wounds. Perhaps you are often angry with yourself for allowing others to interfere with your personal life. The object that caused the injury may symbolize a threat from the outside, for example, a person who inflicted a mental wound on you. Damage to the foot always occurs unexpectedly, followed by bleeding, which indicates an unforeseen psychological situation or a sudden outburst of emotions directed at a person or event.
The location of the damage itself was also not “chosen” by chance. It is usually closely related to the causes of emotional distress and mental suffering. So, for example, a wound on the big ball of the foot reveals hurt pride, deep sadness about the most intimate experiences. Injury to the upper part of the instep indicates violation of personal rights, anger or hurt self-esteem. Damage to the heel indicates a feeling of fear, problems in the family and relationships with other people.
If you cut your foot, don't wait for the wound to heal on its own. The first thing you should do is to disinfect the wound site properly to prevent suppuration.
The same goes for mental wounds. You can’t let the situation take its course, waiting for everything to settle down on its own. First, understand the existing problem as much as possible. Do this, focusing on the specific location of the cut and the corresponding chakra. Then calmly analyze everything, trying to understand what in your past caused the current situation. Perhaps there is someone among your acquaintances who would like to show you your place or even erase you from their life. Only by understanding the true cause of what happened can you solve your problem.
SPINES AND SPINS
If a thorn or splinter gets into the skin of the foot, on a physical level this only means that some foreign body has entered the body and is causing pain. On an emotional level, things are a little more complicated. Thorns and splinters can pierce your foot at any moment, completely unexpectedly, just as an unpleasant situation can burst into an established, measured life. And the larger the size of the thorn, the stronger the pain it causes, which means the greater the emotional distress that a person can experience.
After removing a thorn or splinter from your foot, be sure to think about the possible reasons for what happened. What is this thorn associated with, a specific person or a difficult situation? What events in your life cause you to feel discomfort and pain?
It is also of great importance which foot you injured and in what place. A damaged right foot means that the cause of your troubles is most likely a man. Most likely, we are talking about problems that were once unresolved by you and have now returned to your life with renewed vigor.
If a thorn wounds your left foot in the area of the heart chakra, this means that events are happening in your life that can break your heart. This is usually associated with a psychological crisis that requires immediate resolution. For example, a man may be torn between new love and duty to his family, or a woman cannot decide what is more important to her - family or career.
Let's say that the splinter is located directly under the third toe of the right foot, that is, where the third chakra is located - the spleen chakra, which is related to anger and an explosion of emotions. You may lack self-confidence or your self-esteem may be suffering.
After receiving an injection in the foot, try to analyze the situation. Find a way to get rid of the destructive emotions associated with it and try to improve the situation.
Loss of support under your feet
Healthy people spend almost their entire day in an upright position: sitting, standing or moving. At the same time, the number of steps per day sometimes reaches several thousand, and during each step our feet experience a load equal to triple the weight of a person. The main load falls on the ankles, which are the primary support of our body. Compared to other parts of the leg, the ankles are more vulnerable because they are much thinner, and as a result of stress, including emotional stress, they are more severely injured. Most often, ankle injuries occur on the outside, that is, on the lateral side. Fractures, dislocations or sprains are very painful and are accompanied by severe pain and the formation of bruises.
The purpose of the ankles is to provide us with mobility and the ability to stand on our feet. Injury to one or both ankles can lead to inability to move and even to a fall. On an emotional level, falling means that, submitting to internal or external pressure, a person stops moving forward. He seems to freeze in place and continues to live, not wanting to change anything. In addition, when an ankle injury occurs, a cast or tight bandage is usually applied, which prevents the leg from bending and the person cannot walk. For him, this becomes another emotional trauma.
What are the causes of ankle injuries?
Ankle injuries occur in situations where a person experiences conflicting emotions. Some of them make him strive forward, while others seem to chain him to the ground (fear, for example). The resulting internal tension leads to ankle injury.
The location of the ankle injury indicates what exactly the injury is related to.
There are areas on the ankles that are responsible for the hip bones. As you know, the hip bones allow a person to move freely in space. In addition, they are related to sexuality and motherhood. Thus, an injury to the ankle in the area associated with the pelvis refers to the sexual sphere or to the relationship with the mother (for example, fear of separation from her).
The most severe ankle injury is a fracture. Emotionally, it often entails more serious consequences than bruises or sprains, in which there is still a desire to overcome internal or external resistance. Forced immobility, which is accompanied by a dreary wait for the moment of liberation, indicates that some of your problems stem from your reluctance to follow the advice of others.
Self-help for ankle injuries
For simple ankle sprains, resting the foot and applying ice packs is usually sufficient. The pain goes away within a few days. For more serious injuries, you should definitely consult a doctor.
If you have problems with your ankles, don't panic. Try to look at everything from an emotional point of view. What is stopping you from moving forward or changing anything in your life? Are you overextending yourself when fighting for your interests?
A right ankle injury can be caused by several situations. These may be internal, purely male problems. But it also happens that the victim is put under pressure by some man who wants to resist with all his might.
Perhaps you feel guilty towards someone or find it difficult to be flexible in your relationships with others. You may think that everything will change for the better if you just change direction a little. Or, on the contrary, not wanting to change anything in your life, you stubbornly cling to old views and concepts.
If your left ankle is injured, this may mean troubles associated with women, or just your purely female problems.
MISSING TOES
Losing one or more toes can happen for a variety of reasons, but they all usually boil down to either an accident or some kind of disease.
From a physical point of view, the loss of a toe seems irreparable, unless, of course, a skilled surgeon returns it to its place. This picture looks completely different at the energy level. After the physical separation of the finger, its chakra, oddly enough, continues to function, that is, in the world of astral energies, the finger still retains its potential.
The loss of a toe can have one or another effect on a person not only on a physical, but also on a psycho-emotional level. Before we begin to understand the essence of this influence, we should remember that the right foot is associated with the masculine principle and past problems, and the left foot is associated with the feminine principle and problems in the present.
So, let's start with the first toe - the largest. The thumb plays an important role in keeping the body balanced, so losing it can cause serious difficulties when moving. From a psycho-emotional point of view, a person who has lost his thumb will lose the ease of perceiving fresh thoughts and ideas. In addition, he may experience a feeling of loss of connection with God.
The loss of the second finger can lead to parting with love in all its manifestations: a person stops thinking about love, experiencing it for others, and even loving himself. Marriage relationships become a burden for him, they begin to poison his life, which ultimately can lead to a breakup.
The loss of the third toe can lead to a loss of connection with oneself, causing a feeling of anger at oneself and the whole world.
The absence of the fourth finger can seriously affect a person's relationships with other people, his beliefs, his sexual relationships, as well as the financial side of his life. It becomes difficult to understand how to behave in situations related to these issues, and emotionality decreases. Serious difficulties in communication may arise, and the ability to express feelings towards other people decreases. It begins to seem to a person that the world of joy and prosperity is closed to him. Depending on which foot the fourth toe is missing, a person on a subconscious level can completely end his relationship with a woman or man, not excluding his mother and father.
The loss of the fifth finger can lead to a rejection of family traditions and beliefs, and a loss of a sense of security in the circle of loved ones and like-minded people. A breakup can be very painful and excruciating.
WHAT OUR SHOES CAN TELL ABOUT
The history of shoes goes back more than one millennium. Perhaps it is as old as the history of human culture. Scientists have found specimens whose age exceeds 8 thousand years. The impetus for the creation of shoes by ancient people was climate change. The first boots in the history of mankind, according to researchers, were something like foot wraps made of bear skins, insulated from the inside with dry grass. The shape of shoes, like all other parts of clothing, has changed at all times and among all peoples. Interestingly, only in the last 200 years have people begun to make shoes to be worn on the right and left feet.
Shoes can tell a lot about their owner. For example, if a person has been wearing shoes for a long time and they are already quite worn out, but he is in no hurry to replace them, this means that a sense of comfort for this person is more important than prestige and luxury. If he nevertheless decides to buy a new pair, this may mean that he is ready to change the vector of his life path.
As you can see, shoes can be used to judge not only the social status of its owner, but also many other things, for example, the characteristics of his emotional make-up. Very often, what can be said about a particular pair of shoes fully corresponds to their owner. In order to identify this correspondence, you should pay attention to the pair that is worn most often. Let us give an example of several such correspondences.
Comfortable, but thoroughly worn shoes indicate fatigue of the person wearing them. If the shoes are uncomfortable, but a person continues to wear them, this means that he does not want to fight the unpleasant aspects of life, preferring to put up with his existence. Shoes that are too cheap can be a sign that a person does not consider himself worthy of the best. Sometimes this indicates that the owner of the shoes is accustomed to living exclusively for others, often ignoring his own needs and desires.
Worn down heels indicate that a person is tired of living in cramped circumstances and feels sorry for himself. High heels, as a rule, give a feeling of confidence in one's capabilities and financial situation. If the right heel is worn less than the left, this means that a person almost always experiences joy and pleasure from performing his marital and household duties. If the sole of the right shoe or shoe is more worn, then probably such a person has problems associated with his masculinity or with the men from his immediate environment.
The type of shoe can also tell a lot about its owner. Take, for example, rough “work” boots. On their feet they look heavy, which means that their owner should not be perceived superficially. Such shoes are worn mainly during working hours, but some young people prefer to wear them all the time, believing that they look much more respectable and courageous in them. True, this does not always work out, but nevertheless, the rough appearance of these shoes serves its purpose, betraying some aggressiveness of its owner. Girls also wear such boots, sometimes together with a skirt. Such a strange combination can mean something like this: “Just because I’m a woman doesn’t mean at all that I’m weak and can’t stand up for myself.”
As you know, narrow high-heeled shoes are very popular with most women. Sometimes men simply cannot understand why such absurd shoes, from their point of view, can attract someone. The toes in such shoes are extremely compressed, the leg at the ankle is bent so that it is difficult to move without the risk of falling, and it is very harmful for the spine. In addition, high-heeled shoes contribute to the formation of bunions and often lead to other foot diseases.
Be that as it may, women are not going to give up shoes with high thin heels, citing that they are beautiful and even comfortable. From a psychological point of view, adherence to high heels indicates a woman’s desire to rise above men or at least equal them. The modern woman refuses to live on the sidelines, to be led and dependent. She strives to prove that she is capable of achieving success in life and not depending on men financially. At the same time, she wants to be treated like a goddess who needs to be adored and pleased.
The choice of a new pair of shoes is approximately 70% determined by its color. And color, as has long been known, influences our psyche on a subconscious level. Red, for example, has a stimulating effect, being a symbol of vitality and self-confidence. Dark blue, on the contrary, gives a feeling of calm and relaxation. Green evokes a feeling of strength, yellow - a feeling of openness, lightness, joy, freedom. The cooler the color scheme, the more calming it is.
The choice of shoe color is inextricably linked to a person’s mood. Intuitively preferring or rejecting certain colors, we sometimes appear as we really are.
Currently, the most common shoes are brown and black. This is understandable, because we walk on the earth, which has the same colors. By preferring dark-colored shoes, a person shows that he stands firmly on the ground. The choice of shoes in lighter shades speaks of his aspiration upward or of his desire to rise above people.
A person who prefers to wear black is often seen as a dark, mysterious, secretive, sexual person. In some cases, the reason for this choice may be a gloomy mood at the time of purchase or a depressive state during this period of life. Black color can also mean a desire to explore the unknown or a willingness to come into contact with one’s earthly and feminine principles.
Brown shoes are quite popular. It is worn by both men and women, and of any age. Brown is closest to the natural color of animal skin from which shoes are made; with its help, a person seems to strive to gain a stronger foothold in this life. In the vast majority of cases, brown shoes are chosen by reliable people, on whom you can always rely in everything. They are practical, stand firmly on the ground, and have a hard time with change. Dirty brown shoes are more often purchased by introverts, people with a detached perception of life.
Gray shoes are usually worn by people who are unsure of the correct choice of their life path. Nothing makes them happy; life seems boring, gray and monotonous to them. Such people look tired, like a squeezed lemon. But we should not forget that gray is also a symbol of wisdom. Wise in life, graying people no longer perceive the volcanic passions of the world around them so emotionally.
White color , as you know, contains all seven colors of the rainbow. He personifies unity, that is, perfection, including in the spiritual and emotional sense. White shoes are most often chosen by people who are close to perfection in all respects.
The blue color of the shoes indicates that its owner is an honest, calm and peace-loving person. He knows exactly what he wants from life. Choosing dirty blue shoes indicates that the person is depressed.
