Birch tar is a natural, environmentally friendly product. It is obtained by distilling birch wood. Its base is oily and the consistency is liquid. It contains a huge amount of biologically active substances, thanks to which tar has antifungal and antibacterial properties.

This product is used in medicine and cosmetology solely because it has a positive effect on the skin:

  • Disinfects;
  • Heals wounds;
  • Promotes epidermis regeneration;
  • Improves blood circulation;
  • Effective in the fight against parasites.
  • Due to the fact that the product is also effective against mycoses, it is also used for nail fungus.

    Contraindications for use

    Despite the fact that both doctors and traditional healers recommend using birch tar for toenail fungus, there are still a number of contraindications.

    Birch tar: application against fungus

    Instructions for use will be as follows:

  • Laundry soap must be crushed and poured into hot water. Steam your feet in a soapy solution. It only takes 15 minutes;

  • After treatment, cotton socks are put on your feet;
  • After two days, the limbs must be washed in soapy, cool water;
  • Be sure to dry them and apply the product again;
  • Cotton wool soaked in tar should be placed in shoes during treatment.
  • If you follow the instructions and do not deviate from them, then after just 14 days you will be able to get rid of the disease.
