"We all want to stay young as long as possible. But how many of us do anything for this? Look what happens to our body if we do not subject it to any physical activity. Until the age of thirty, we mercilessly use what we have been given nature, without thinking at all about what will happen next. As a result, at the age of forty we get a body ready to retire. And then the question arises: are we, in the prime of life, ready to fold our arms and wait for old age."

. In recent years, a wonderful doctor has also become a popular writer. He has more than four dozen articles on problems related to the spine and joints, as well as hypertension. Pavel Evdokimenko has repeatedly shared his professional knowledge on television.
The first book by Dr. Evdokimenko P.V. Published in 2001, Osteochondrosis - Myths and Reality immediately became a bestseller. It turned out to be so interesting and in demand for readers.
In 2003, his work “Back Pain: A Guide for Patients” was published. And again success in literary activity. But not just as a writer, but also as a practicing doctor who shares his experience on the pages of his works. Advises and recommends how to avoid exacerbations of joint diseases and find the right direction of treatment.
After that, he wrote and published five more books devoted to the problems of the musculoskeletal system.
The accumulated professional experience and knowledge allow Pavel Evdokimenko to successfully treat joint diseases. In this article, a rheumatologist answers questions related to such diseases.
Question: Pavel Valerievich, there is a lot of talk in society about joint diseases. What does a healthy joint mean from a doctor’s point of view?
Pavel Evdokimenko replies that there cannot be a definite answer here. The main thing is that in a healthy state the joint should not bother a person. He simply shouldn't notice him. If nothing hurts, the joint is healthy. And when unpleasant symptoms appear, such as pain, limited mobility, this is already a signal that there is a problem.
But the result is worth it - because under the influence of positive emotions a person relaxes, useful internal “narcotic substances” are released - endorphins. And an increase in the concentration of endorphins in the blood helps to relax cramped muscles, improve the condition of joints and reduce pain.
In addition, scientists have proven that under the influence of positive emotions, even the human immune system works better, increasing the vitality of the body.
And if a person draws the right conclusions from his illness, changes his way of thinking and lifestyle, begins to fight for his physical and mental health, then in the future he can achieve a lot and become even more protected and whole spiritually than he was before.
Therefore, fight, do not allow yourself to lose heart - and you will defeat the disease.

The book you are holding in your hands is dedicated to chronic joint diseases - arthrosis and arthritis. This is the second reissue of the book, and its first version is called “Arthrosis. Arthritis. A manual for the sick” was prepared by me seven years ago.
There is no doubt that seven years is a long time for the modern development of medicine and pharmacology. Over the years, something has changed in our understanding of the essence and causes of joint diseases, new drugs have appeared, and new prospects have opened up in the treatment of these diseases. That is why I felt the need for an addition and a new edition of this book.
Fact: up to 2% of people living on Earth suffer from various arthritis, often young people. And approximately 10% of the world’s population suffers from arthrosis! Moreover, if arthrosis affects young people relatively rarely, then in the older age group the incidence of arthrosis increases many times.
For example, upon reaching 50 years of age, certain arthritic changes in the joints can be detected in every third person. And among 70-year-olds, almost every second person suffers from arthrosis in one form or another.
Evdokimenko Pavel Valerievich - rheumatologist.
Dr. Evdokimenko is the author of 10 books about health.
Dr. Evdokimenko’s first book, called “Osteochondrosis - Myths and Reality,” was published in 2001.
In 2003, the first edition of the book “Arthrosis. Arthritis". In the same 2003, the Stolitsa-Print publishing house released an updated reissue of the book “Osteochondrosis: Myths and Reality” entitled “Back Pain. Benefit for the sick."
In 2004, the Stolitsa-Print publishing house published a new book by Dr. Evdokimenko, “Pain in the Legs. A benefit for patients" and the book "Pain in the hands. Benefit for the sick."
In 2006, the book “What Doctors Guess But Don’t Say” was published. It was later republished under the title "The Reason for Your Illness." In 2008, the Tsentrpolygraph publishing house released an updated edition of the books “Arthrosis” and “Arthritis”.
The famous nutritionist Yulia Bastrigina (Drobashenko) and therapeutic exercise specialist Lana Paley, author of the book “Better than Yoga,” took part in the writing of these books as consultants.
In 2011, all books were supplemented by Dr. Evdokimenko and republished by the publishing house “Peace and Education” in an updated version.
In his books, Dr. Evdokimenko generously shares his knowledge and possible methods of treating various diseases of the spine and joints in accessible language. And although doctors often convince many patients that their diseases are incurable, Dr. Evdokimenko proves in his books that this is not true - in most cases, cure is possible without any miracles, in completely understandable and logical ways.
The book is dedicated to one of the most common joint diseases - arthrosis. The features of arthrosis of the joints of the hands and feet, the causes of development, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment methods are described in detail. Particular attention is paid to diet and therapeutic exercises.
The famous rheumatologist Dr. Evdokimenko talks about arthrosis in simple and accessible language, gives practical advice, offers therapeutic and preventive procedures that allow you to return to a full life.
Pavel Evdokimenko rightly considers this book the best of those he has written.
Publication of the shocking and hopeful discovery of Dr. Evdokimenko that luck, happiness and well-being actually depend on the functioning of our body. And we can control it in simple and easy ways!
The link to the book has been removed from the site at the request of the publisher.
Modern medicine has long turned into a business; many doctors shamelessly cheat patients out of money, diagnose non-existent diseases and prescribe “commercially reasonable treatment” to their patients, serving the interests of pharmacological companies. Most sick people are forced to take dubious or even harmful medications for years, and sometimes for life, that have a huge number of side effects.
But what should those who don’t want to take handfuls of pills do and turn their body into a “walking chemical plant”? Is it possible to cope with your illnesses without unnecessary chemicals (pills)? Yes, you can! And it's not that difficult to do.
This is exactly what my book will be about. You will learn about how not to fall for the bait of “commercial medicine”, how to be healthy in our country and prolong your life by healing diseases in simple, accessible and harmless ways.
I don’t like to get sick and I don’t like to be treated. I came across your site by accident and really liked the essence: simple, accessible and to the point. Your recommendations work, thank you very much.
Can you tell me where to find exercises for habitual shoulder dislocation?
The last time they said that it would not be possible to reduce it anymore, only surgically. I found a physical therapy complex, I do my exercises, I don’t spare my hand, but. How to determine the degree of risk under load? For example, many spinal exercises require you to rely on your arms.
Traumatology does not give a specific answer, maybe you can advise something? I live in Kazan, so I can’t consult with you in person yet. Thank you in advance, Natalia.
Small ones appear when overloaded
Your books are tabletop for me (I bought almost all of them through OZON)
I’m not just grateful to YOU, I’m praying for YOU

In addition, the appearance of the joint may change when it is “expanded” from the inside by excess amount of joint fluid. This excessive accumulation of fluid in the joint cavity is often due to inflammation of the joint tissue and is called synovitis .
It is usually easy to see whether a joint deformity is caused by a change in the shape of the bones or by synovitis. If you press your finger on the deformed area, then with synovitis you will feel its springiness, as if you were pressing on a rubber balloon filled with water. When pressure is applied to areas of bone growth, only a “hard” obstacle is felt and often the grinding sound of bones rubbing against each other. You may ask: what difference does it make what causes the change in the shape of the joint? After all, in both cases we are talking about the same disease - arthrosis, and, therefore, the treatment will be the same.
In fact, treatment for different forms of arthrosis and different stages of the disease can differ fundamentally. For example, it makes sense to treat arthrosis in combination with synovitis by introducing corticosteroid hormones into the joint cavity, since these hormones relieve inflammation and swelling, eliminating excessive amounts of intra-articular fluid.
Conversely, the administration of corticosteroid hormones in the presence of pronounced bone growths and the absence of synovitis can lead to a deterioration in the condition of the joint, since in some cases the hormones “dry out the joint” and negatively affect its bone structure.
That is why it is so important to pay attention to the slightest nuances of the disease and carry out treatment taking into account all its features.
FEATURES OF ARTHROSIS OF THE LEGS JOINTS
The joints of the legs are affected by arthrosis much more often than the joints of the arms. This is natural because the joints of the legs have to support the weight of the body, and they are much more likely to be subject to increased pressure and microtrauma. And of all types of arthrosis, arthrosis of the hip joint (coxarthrosis) is the most severe than others, which progresses quite quickly and, without proper treatment, leads to disability in a short time. Therefore, it is with coxarthrosis that we will begin our conversation about the characteristics of the symptoms of different types of arthrosis.

For example, upon reaching the age of 50, certain arthritic changes in the joints can be detected in every third person. And among 70-year-olds, almost every second person suffers from arthrosis in one form or another.
Despite this prevalence of the problem, we often have to face the fact that sometimes both patients and even individual doctors do not know absolutely basic things about joint diseases.
But if I am not looking for an excuse for the illiteracy of some lagging doctors - there are plenty of special medical reference books on sale, then the ignorance of the majority of patients about the causes, characteristics and ways of treating their illness is quite understandable - there are very few books on sale about joint diseases compiled by competent specialists, but written in a simple and in clear “non-medical” language.
If we continue the topic of specialized medical reference books, then we must admit that most of these reference books require translation from the highly specialized language of science into the language of normal human communication.

Of course, it is naive to think that they can be defeated by simply taking a pill or taking an injection. In order to cope with an illness, hard work of the patient himself is sometimes necessary. It is also necessary to understand the cause of the disease and eliminate it.

?And such attacks are repeated with a certain frequency. A person may already forget about the last attack. A whole year can go well for him, and then again! If the disease is not treated, with age the joints are attacked by gout more and more often.?
